The food and the service was great. The staff was very pleasant and delivered our food in a timely manner.
Have been going for a number of years...good food but this is the second time when table service fell miserably beneath normal standards...and when we had other guests. This time it was later Sunday evening, not busy but our food (no starters) did not come until an hour after arrival..we even had to remind the waiter that some tables had bread which we didn’t and the advice on wine was incomplete (we were served sparkling, unexpected and low alcahol, certainly not appreciated...ok we should have tasted it...not offered but just poor service again)
Sorry, won’t be going again which is a shame because this have been a favorite for two of us for some time
Stonewood is my favorite restaurant. Been there many times at different locations, I always enjoy service and the food is excellent.
Ordered short ribs but served what appeared to be very chewy over cooked sirloin
Server was to ask manager to come to discuss but never came to table
Would not order
We were celebrating a birthday and had a great dinner! Service was excellent!
My entree was served without the side dish. The steak was dry and too well done and the roast beef had a crust on it, both too salty. The barbecued shrimp appetizer was the best thing about the meal.
It was my wife’s birthday yes St Patricks day but she was born in Scotland grew up in Sarasota she is almost native came here in 1948
For as busy as you were it was wonderful and I really appreciate d the General Manager Barone stoping at the table and talking really nice person Thangs
Meghan great as always as a server wonderful young person
The best feature of this restaurant was the server, Tristen. Dishes were under seasoned and over sauces. Disappointing!
Consistently good food; however, on this one particular occasion the service was poor at best!
Great dinner - exceptional food and superb service. A bit noisy but as long as we can hear each other it’s tolerable. Lovely restaurant for dinner.
We frequent this restaurant often with friends. I ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta dish which i order often here. Normally it is quite good with a generous amount of chicken. This
time their was hardly a piece of chicken in the dish,i don't complain but i sure hope this doesn't
happen again, because we dine here often & i was surprised at how stingy this was.
Food used to be better with larger portions. Had great desserts now average and on the small side. Wine list used to be much better, very limited now, especially on Wine Wednesdays. Went from a 9 to at max a 7 over the last three years.
Overall an OK experience We had requested a quiet booth for a 4:30 reservation. The hostess wanted to seat us in the very noisy bar. What's up with that.
.We often go to Stonewood and have had many good meals there.
This time our prime rib was tough and with a huge amount of fat.
The servers were excellent .... the food was very good ..... 'happy hour' prices are fantastic .... just a very nice to dine!!!!!
A few more sandwich options would be appreciated. The fish portion was very small. Highly unusual for this restaurant. We miss the specials that were taken away from the menu. Overall, except for the fish being small, it was very good.
They served our bottle of Cabernet COLD. The quesadilla was good but the ‘chips’ served with it were tasteless. It was very loud.
Went on a Saturday night for dad’s Birthday. Waited 30 minutes just for drinks. Server was friendly, but they were clearly understaffed.
I called ahead to say it was my dad’s birthday and told the server and no recognition at all. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
My wife and I came here for dinner on a very busy night at Stonewood. Despite a reservation, we still had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. My steak was ordered to be medium, but it came out very much on the rare side. It took the waiter a while to stop by to check in on us as the restaurant was busy. The steak was taken back and cooked to the appropriate temperature. But I missed out on eating with my wife. The manager did not charge us for our alcoholic drinks, which was nice. I’ll still go back as the food is good and the prices are good. But i would recommend going here when it’s not so busy. Otherwise, expect waits and mistakes.
Consistent quality and not over priced..excellent service
Excellent as usual. Good food, service and ambiance. Very good value for the delicious entrees that are offered. We always bring our friends and family here to eat.
We love to see the mussels and the fish dip on the menu again. It would be nice to offer a house wine at a reduced rate.
Very busy. Wine good but expensive.
Used to enjoy this restaurant at lunchtime but is now closed at that time. Too bad!
Food very good, service was great even on a very busy Friday evening. Was very disappointed that the restaurant no longer serves orange cake for one of their desserts. My wife and my personal favorites.................
The food was excellent, my husband had the short ribs. They were tender and delicious. Our friend and I had the steak medallions stuffed with Boursin cheese. The meal was wonderful, the portions were large, and our waiter was extremely pleasant and attentive.
Bar and general service was painfully slow. Never had that experience there before. Hope this isn’t a trend.
Great restaurant. We always enjoy dining here because of the flavorful food. Our service was especially good this time, although it's almost always good.
This restaurant is always good. The classic American specialties are comfort food expertly prepared.
Great service, bar type food that was good and fresh. Comfortable place for a casual bite to eat. Lots of tvs that show multiple sports.
Great food and good value. The wait staff was very attentive and food was served in a very timely manner even though the place was very crowded.
Special salmon with grains and blueberry compote was excellent.
Great food and close neighborhood place. Our "go to" restaurant
This is one of our favorite restaurants because the food is always very good and you can enjoy a quiet conversation with your dining guests.
Katy is a great waitress & the food was awesome! It was a great night!
The overall dining experience was good. The quality of the food and service were equal to similar restaurants in the area.
It is quickly becoming one of our favorite places to dine. We were lucky enough to be served by Mark our first visit and will continue to request him. He is professional and friendly. The food is always wonderful. The chef has even split our meals when sharing! The manager David is hands on. It's a great place to for good food and great service without spending a fortune. Hats off the the ENTIRE staff! It takes many to make it look easy!
The Stonewood is a great restaurant with excellent food, drink and service. I've dined at several Stonewood locations in Florida over the years and have never been disappointed.
Four of us were celebrating my neighbor's and the other couple's mother's return to improved health. The food and service was as dependably great as always, but because of several large parties on a Thursday night, the noise level was almost unbearable. We will continue to return because of the other great qualities.
Nice restaurant. Good food and excellent service Enjoyed the evening with special friends
I always enjoyed their lamb chops but they were taken off the menu and replaced with another cut of lamb which apparently wasn't popular so now they have no lamb. I hope they bring back the lamb chops. They were excellent!
Our for a birthday dinner with visiting family (4 adults and 2 kids). Food was very good and our waitress was terrific. Guess the bartender was working her first or second day and was having some trouble before someone else came to help out.
We have been to Stonewood many times over the years and even came in with friends when you were open for lunch. Staff has always been friendly and service has been very good.
