Stonewood has very good food and drinks and service. It is a nice place to dine with friends ad you can hear your conversations even when the restaurant is busy.
We met friends at Stonewood. I had asked for a quiet booth and we were seated at a nice booth near the back of the restaurant. The restaurant was full but our booth was quiet. We all love the pretzel bread and we all enjoyed our meals. We ordered salmon, scallops, flounder and censor salad. I had a Mojito the rest had wine. All was good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for just about any occasion. Our waiter, Isaac, was fantastic! Very attentive but not overbearing and he also had a nice sense of humor. A very enjoyable evening.
Server was not great. We asked for bread basket and it never came until we asked 2 more times. Drinks took forever .
Always liked Stonewood - good food , good service, nice ambiance
The meal was great and the service exemplary! The chocolate bread pudding for dessert is still there and excellent for sharing!
A must do place to eat and spend time with friends.
As always a very pleasant experience!! My husband and I celebrated our 16-yeat wedding anniversary and our server was sooooo kind that she gave us dessert and a card signed from some of the staff!!! Seriously, the little things are thoughtful and made our day even more special!
Always great food choices and comfortable dining atmosphere.
We liked our table location because it was tucked in a corner away from most of the noise. Our waiter, Aziz was attentive, gracious and accommodating. Our meals were promptly served and delicious.
Katy, our server, was excellent. The grouper sandwich was huge and delicious. The lobster cobb salad was good, but not great; lobster was a little tough, corn tasted like frozen.
I thought my meal was excellent -- BUT -- my wife got sick after eating the asparagus and spent some undue time in the ladies room . We have been to stonewood many times -- always one of our favorite restaurants .
Service was great and we had a tasty dimmer
It was so noisy in the restaurant, we ate outside where it was lovely. Service not so great - if you hesitated over the menu, the waiter walked away. BUT, my dinner of shrimp and scallops and cavatappi was outstanding. It was the perfect size to eat half and take home half, but it was so delicious, I ate the whole thing!
Food and service were wonderful!! No complaints or recommendations at all. Thank you
Our waiter Andrew was obviously NOT in a very good mood and not only failed to give any eye contact or show personality but was even sirly. Why oh why do nice restaurants not get rid of their staff who do NOT LIKE WORKING at their jobs? There must be plenty of personable folks out there who need and want a job. Customer service should not suck! Your bartender Meagan, provided excellent service, with both a smile and eye contact.
Had dinner there a few years ago and was impressed enough to return this year. What a disappointment! Lousy service. If we hadn’t asked about a happy hour special we would not have been told. Then when we looked forward to a top up before the 7pm cutoff, the waiter conveniently avoided us until after 7pm. We found it noisy and understaffed. Would not recommend this restaurant. It does not measure up to the experience in other restaurants that Open Table features.
My husband loved the herb crusted grouper and blue-cheese/lettuce salad (not shown on their website). I had the Tuscan chicken which was very good although fattening!! My small Stonewood salad was also very good. The service was excellent as always.
This place is noisy because of the bar crowd, so we asked for a booth as far away as possible. The hostess graciously accommodated our request.
Great experience overall
Again we had a great meal. Nice that we can make reservation in busy season and go directly to our table when we arrived. Not rushed at all. Will be back in the fall
We went for Easter Sunday dinner. Our reservation was honored immediately upon our arrival. No waiting. Our waiter was on the spot to take drink and appetizer orders. The Easter dinner special of roast lamb was excellent. Everything was wonderful. Our waiter was excellent. He really had his act together. I wish I could remember his name for extra recognition.
We all had a wonderful time.
Must have been an off day. They were very busy Easter Sunday. My glass of wine was off and sent back and my wife's salmon was under cooked even with the request of well cooked. We have always had good experiences at Stonewood until now.
The wife had fish which was fine but I had the BLACKENED Chicken Pasta which was drowning in chardonnay cream sauce. I should have sent it back but I didn't
Easter. Packed but very subdued. Great service. Great food, but Caesar salad overdressed and limp. Our friends really enjoyed it, too.
Little better than average
Easter Sunday, good service, food very good.
They have changed the menu and it really good.
Nice variety of appetizers, nice variety of main dishes.
Our waitress Katy was excellent & the clam chowder is always awesome!
The Leg of lamb, which was their one Easter special, was very chewy.
5 star experience in all regards!!!
We stopped going to Stonewood because the menu became extremely limited and pricy.
We decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised. The menu is now 3 panels and there is a much better variety of choices but they kept some similar items.
In speaking with the GM Dave he mentioned they were going back to their roots - they recognized they were off track.
Keep up the good work!
Problem!!! We made reservations twice at 4:15p. Both times we were the second couple of two couples in your restaurant. Both times the receptionist put us right next to the other "loud" couple. Her excuse was this is where the server works! That is most distressing not to mention STUPID! Where I come from the customer must be satisfied not challenged with nonsensical, irresponsible remarks.
Delicious food, great service, and appreciated the ability to make a reservation. Less convenient than the former Stickney Point location, which we were VERY DISAPPOINTED to find closed when we were here last fall.
Service was excellent as were the drinks. However, my husband did not like his chicken pot pie -- all chicken and crust, no veggies. Salads were quite nice. This place is way too noisy even in the corner as far away from the bar as we could get. I guess the after-work bar crowd is their big money-maker.
The food and the service was great. The staff was very pleasant and delivered our food in a timely manner.
Have been going for a number of years...good food but this is the second time when table service fell miserably beneath normal standards...and when we had other guests. This time it was later Sunday evening, not busy but our food (no starters) did not come until an hour after arrival..we even had to remind the waiter that some tables had bread which we didn’t and the advice on wine was incomplete (we were served sparkling, unexpected and low alcahol, certainly not appreciated...ok we should have tasted it...not offered but just poor service again)
Sorry, won’t be going again which is a shame because this have been a favorite for two of us for some time
Stonewood is my favorite restaurant. Been there many times at different locations, I always enjoy service and the food is excellent.
Ordered short ribs but served what appeared to be very chewy over cooked sirloin
Server was to ask manager to come to discuss but never came to table
Would not order
We were celebrating a birthday and had a great dinner! Service was excellent!
My entree was served without the side dish. The steak was dry and too well done and the roast beef had a crust on it, both too salty. The barbecued shrimp appetizer was the best thing about the meal.
It was my wife’s birthday yes St Patricks day but she was born in Scotland grew up in Sarasota she is almost native came here in 1948
For as busy as you were it was wonderful and I really appreciate d the General Manager Barone stoping at the table and talking really nice person Thangs
Meghan great as always as a server wonderful young person
The best feature of this restaurant was the server, Tristen. Dishes were under seasoned and over sauces. Disappointing!
Consistently good food; however, on this one particular occasion the service was poor at best!
