We went on a special night. Valentines. It was closed permanently We had to try and fine another restaurant last minute
You need to update your records. This restaurant closed in January and cancelled my reservation in time so I could make other arrangements.
The Stonewood Grill in Naples closed three weeks ago, so we were unable to dine on Valentines Day
We had reservations for valentines. They were kind enough to call & inform me that the restaurant was closing permanently Jan 31, 2018. Very sad, we loved that place.
This restaurant has closed its doors - we did not receive any notification just saw on FaceBook what had happened. We have gift cards too - we can use them in Sarasota apparently just a few hours drive from Naples.
All very sad they had been open many years,
This restaurant was closed on January 31, without notice.
It was one of our favorite places to dine in Naples. I can't believe that right in the middle of season, they would close up without any warning. Very disappointed.
Unfortunately stonewood has closed and so I was not able to hoo. They did however call me tthe day before to tell me. Sad since I likedthis testaurant, always had a good meal there.
The restaurant had gone out of business before we go there.
It was lousy , they closed!! We will miss them. It was one of the best restaurants in Naples
For the first time ever, Stonewood was quiet. So quiet you could hear a pin drop. They also had all tables available and they had locked their doors. Seems the Wednesday before, without warning to employees or those holding reservations, the owners shut down the business. The only notification was an article in the paper. Suggest you shut down the link to Stonewood!!!!
Please advise your open table restaurant listers that Stonewood Grille is NO LONGER OPEN. We made a reservation, open table confirmed it, open table even sent me a traffic update as to when to leave to get there on time....we got there and they are CLOSED PERMANENTLY! I had to scrabble to find a restaurant that we could go to with our out of town guests. I also did not receive any points....since no one was at Stonewood Grille to tell you that WE DID HONOR OUR RESERVATION. Please update your records ASAP so this does not happen to others.
They were closed and I assume they still are. We were so disappointed as we have always liked Stonewood. Sign on door that they closed.
We got call on Wednesday, our reservation was on Thursday. They were closing the restaurant on Wednesday!!! So Sad!
We didn't go to Stonewood since we received a call the afternoon of our reservation that the location was closed down. Obviously, that left us scrambling against the in-season crowd to find a last minute reservation at someplace we liked. I hope this doesn't indicate that you don't know what is going on with the restaurants you offer reservations for.
THE RESTAURANT IS CLOSED - COULD NOT CANCEL RESERVATION AND COULD NOT MAKE ANOTHER RESERVATION ON OPEN TABLE AS IT SHOWED I HAD A RESERVATION.
I AM HOLDING 2 OTHEWR RESERVATIONS AND CANNOT CANCEL THEM ON LINE OR MAKE A NEW RESERVATION ON "OPEN TABLE" AS IT SHOWS I HAVE A RESERVATION
We did not get to use our reservation. The restaurant called on the day of the reservation and told us the restaurant had closed as of that day, and would not be reopening. We were very disappointed as that was a favorite restaurant of ours.
They closed the restaurant with no notification
Made reservation through OpenTable 1/31, and when we arrived for dinner there was a sign on the door that they had closed and thanks for 17 yrs of support from Naples community. Three other couples showed up at the same time and were as disappointed as we were.
The service was awful the food was cold the meal was under cooked would never go back .use to go there a lot in the early 2000 really gone down hill
Wonderful evening out! All three of our entrees were so delicious! Such a great experience that started and ended with the hostesses. They were so friendly and nice and promptly found our reservation and sat us right away. The server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. If you haven’t been to Stonewood or if you haven’t been recently I highly recommend the Resturant. Enjoy!
Although this could have been a great experience, it was not. Food had to be sent back secondary to being served beyond what was requested. We had to wait for drink pours, and water, and had to ask several times. The waiter, was running between several tables, but that is no excuse to not check back to see if all is okay. The plates came out very, very hot, and I actually burnt the roof of my mouth on a bun which should have not been that hot. Will not return.
Seems they are trying to develop a menus suitable to the majority of guests. Every time we go it is a revised menu and the great servings we liked are no longer available. Serving size was middle of the road, at best.
This restaurant was very good but it was very noise where we were seated. The large party of 10 people did leave about 25 min into our dinner. The food was served at a nice pace and was hot. Our waitress was very good and the price point was equal to what we have paid at other restaurants.
Stonewood never disappoints. It is our go to restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Stonewood Grill in Naples. We were seated promptly and were pleased with the menu and special selection. Our server, Luke was knowledgeable and went out of his way to skew our evening special. Our dinners were excellent. We all ordered different entrees and enjoyed sharing. Desserts were also delicious. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
I was with mynneice who has a lot of eating problrms shr was able to order just how she wanted her food prepared and it was perfect and she ate every bit
Fish was tough. Had to send back. Rice was cold. Not sure I would return
This was our first time this season going to Stonewood Overall had a good dining experience. However the bartenders need more trading on how to make cocktails. They told us they had NO vermouth to make a Manhattan. How does that happen in an established restaurant? They were also stingy on serving bread because they had brought us pretzel bread & my husband wanted a roll with his salad. Will try again since it has always been one of our favorite places. Bring a jacket or sweater as air conditioning is really ramped up.
Never have we dined at Stonewood and had a meal less than excellent. My only complaint is that we live in North Fort Myers and dining in Naples involves an eighty mile round trip. We are still mourning the closing of the Stonewood in Fort Myers; it was MUCH more convenient for us.
One of our favorite places for good food, good service, and a fine choice for most occasions. The pretzel rolls are a must with cocktails and appetizers.
Always reliable! The food and service were very good and everything was served in a timely manner. We have been to Stonewood many times and have never been disappointed. A big plus is the cozy booths where people can actually have a conversation without yelling. It is difficult to find this during “season” in Naples. Also like the fact that there are different specials every time we have been there. We’ll be back!
We always have an excellent meal at Stonewood.
Ordered an appetizer. Salad was already served., and never got the appetizer. Canceled appetizer. Waited LONG time to get entree. No apologies for poor experience. Had been there before and never experienced an evening like this!!!
First time at Stonewood with friends. The drinks menu was extensive and very well made. All appetizers and main dishes were well prepared and made to order. Wait staff was knowledgeable and very personable. Food was brought out promptly and hot.
We had a 5:00 reservation but had to wait in their lobby 7 minutes to get a table and they were less than half full ! Very slow service. We were there nearly two hours for just a glass of wine, a salad and main course. No appetizer or desert. Will not go there again.
One of our favorite restaurants. Great for salmon dinner.
We had a table for 6 and were seated within 10 minutes. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and our waitress was there for our drink order like clockwork. We have been here numerous times and never disappointed. Consistently great!
Great restaurant for a large group. Too bad it closed.
My cousin and I share the same birthday, and he and his wife flew in from Toronto to celebrate with me. We chose the Stonewood, as it is one of our favorite places in Naples to eat. The food was excellent and our server, Winde was wonderful. He was pleasant, happy to see me return and very eager to please. He was attentive and always available when we needed him.
The short ribs of beef with the butternut squash ravioli were not very good. The beef was too chewy and a poor grade of meat and the ravioli lacked flavor. Server was just ok....she never returned to check on us if we wanted anything a few minutes after we got served our meal. We needed beverages...etc. Otherwise it was OK.
