Excellent food and service, as always! One of our favorites.
Great service, beautiful restaurant, fantastic food!
Our waitress was great but my food was cold and very undercooked. They were out of several items that we wanted. We probably won’t be back.
Our 2nd visit to Stonewood. Service and atmosphere were excellent both times. Food was better the 1st time. This time, steak had to be sent back to be prepared medium well.
Our server was friendly and fast per our request. The food was fresh delicious.
The appetizers we had ( tuna & bruschetta) were outstanding. French onion soup very good.
Now the bad news my prime rib was OK at best and the baked potato was about half cooked. The shrimp dish a follow diner had, the shrimp were over cooked and dry, the poblano rice was also dry, green beans were so tough they were not really eatable. I forget the meals other diners in the group had but all were underwhelming.
This was our 1st time there and from our waiter fantastic personality to the food and atmosphere was amazing 🤩.
Past 2 visits to Stonewood have been disappointing. Both times I raved about this restaurant but the food, the bruschetta specifically has been soft/chewy, not crisp and flavorful like it used to be. The portion sizes seem to have decreased also.
Really Great. Sirloin steak was the best we've ever had and I almost always have steak when going out. So much flavor in everything.
Excellent customer service (especially for today’s day and age)! The food was really good, and they have a great happy hour daily from 4/5pm?-7pm
Service was great, but food was only ok.
I think they are having the same issues as other restaurants post COVID opening. The service people seemed to be new. Asked for salad to come out first and it all came out at the same time. Found a bug in one of the salads and sent it back (they did remove it from the bill). Bread is an upcharge and I'm fine with that it just never showed up. Drink orders were supper slow. Kind of bummed the food what pretty good.
Great food and excellent service.
You won't be disappointed !
This is our favorite restaurant in Brandon. It is comfortable and has good food.
The food and service were excellent. The reason I rated 3 out of 5 is due to a change made regarding bread. They no longer offer cranberry rolls which were my husband’s favorite and if you want pretzel rolls it will cost $2.95 for 4. Although it is not a lot of money, Stonewood is a high end restaurant and should not be charging for pretzel rolls. Not sure we will be going back.
I had there chicken pot pie. Very good! Good presentation on the plate as well.
Staff was nice, polite and helpful. There happy hour was better than most. They even had Becks NA beer from myself. I will go there again when in the area.
Menu diverse and interesting. Quality of food , preparation and presentation EXCELLENT! Our waiter Alex was very attentive and fun, he was well informed about the menu and made our evening very relaxing and enjoyable!! It had been a long few days and it was well worth the drive from Tampa.
The service was phenomenal. The food was mediocre.
Service was good but my steak wasn’t great and took along time to make and didn’t really seem worth the money.
Always great. Unfortunately they charge for bread now. What is this? Europe?
Convenient location, great service. Food was "8" on a scale of 1-10. Reasonable value. We will go back.
Celebrated our 19th anniversary at Stonewood and was very impressed food was delicious service was great. The employees even signed a anniversary card for us which was unexpected and made it a great night. Highly recommend
We've eaten here many times. Typically, the food and service is excellent. On this visit, the service wasn't great - a disinterested waiter - and the some of the dishes were very good and some not so much. The fried shrimp was great, but the boneless pork chop was not good at all. I'll pass on that one in the future.
We made a reservation for our first time and celebrating a 30th birthday. We requested a nicer table. All this was included in the reservation notes. We were sat in a booth in the back of the restaurant, the server didn't even know we were celebrating a birthday, nothing special was done for the birthday either. Our server, Melissa, was wonderful! I was just disappointed that this was a special occasion request and it was comparable to going to Applebee's.
Great food and excellent service! Definitely on our list of go to restuarants!
Not up to the usual standards. Prime rib sandwich was bland and bread was soggy. Second round of drinks not brought. Just felt like I could have been at Longhorn
I always spend my birthdays here and they never disappoint!
While we arrived early for our 5:15 reservation, a table was ready for us. Melissa was our server and she was professional, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the Caprese as my entree. I would have liked to have been able to order this either as a side [smaller portion] or been able to add a protein for a reasonable cost. He ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans.
We enjoyed both our entrees.
Great service ambiance and food choices. Prime rib was medium rare when ordered medium well is only issue out of 4 dinners. Definitely will go again
We have eaten at the Valrico Stonewood on several occasions and have always had an excellent meal. On our most recent visit, my entree (shrimp scampi) was excellent and hot. My husband had salmon, which was very good, but the side dishes were lukewarm, and the rice was crunchy with a lot of uncooked kernels. The manager who stopped by our table did offer to bring another serving, but we were finished our meal by that point. We were celebrating a birthday which we indicated when we made our reservation , and also mentioned it to our server. On other special occasions were were offered a complimentary dessert , but not at this visit.
Overall, a nice meal, but not as excellent as on prior occasions.
Food was delicious and cooked the way we like it
First off, the a/c was not working properly, so the restaurant was very warm. Second, our waiter was new (only about a week on the job) and not very attentive. We asked for bread three times before he finally brought it out (he even came over once and said he thought he had brought it). The manager came over and spoke with us, and took note of our issues and said she would use them as a "training moment" for the server.
This place is always outstanding! We were all very happy with our choices, and the service was excellent.
The air conditioning was broken and had been for some time but no one bothered to tell us so it was very hot making it hard to enjoy our food.
It took 20 minutes to get a server and that was only after we went to the check-in podium.
Made reservations the same day for 7:00 dinner. I signed up on their app and got the complimentary brushetta which became an instant favorite. We tried the clam chowder, salmon and rustic chicken. Everything on those plates was delicious, juice proteins, colorful not overcooked vegetables.
My wife and I have eaten there a number of times, and the food and service has always been very good.
We loved our dinner at Stonewood. Great foods and service.
The waitress, Lexi was outstanding!! I would request her again. The food was cold and the salad was on a warm plate. Not the servers fault so we still tipped over 20% but the runner or kitchen staff should have done better
Everything about the experience was great! We went for our anniversary and they had champagne and a card on the table for us when we got there. The food was amazing, we had the bruschetta for an app, I had the chicken entree and my husband had the ribeye. Both dishes were delicious! We had the key lime pie & Florida orange cake for dessert and oh my goodness both were out of this world. Will definitely be back if we are back in town.
