The historic house has a new life as a restaurant and bar, with Executive Chef Tyler Rogers creating dishes that celebrate local, seasonal ingredients. Guests and neighbors can take their craft cocktails from the bar to the parlors of the old house or out to the screened porch. We currently offer Brunch from 7:30am-1pm 7 days a week and Dinner from 5pm - 9pm, Monday - Saturday. Come join us at the top of Markham Hill right next to the University of Arkansas.

We had a lovely Father's Day Brunch at the Stonebreaker. Highly recommend the cornbread french toast and the sunchoke egg dish. The dining room is beautiful with big windows looking out at the hotel grounds. Brody was our attentive and very friendly waiter. Ask for him! Very enjoyable

Very unpolished service. Had two dishes, one was quite good but the other equally poor. It will take a lot of work for the restaurant and service to equal the surroundings.

First time to eat here. I was hopeful this would be a new spot to frequent as Fayetteville has very limited fine dining and the service to go with it. I believe my 4 stars is a fair rating based on our first-time experience. Our food was great, our waitress was very attentive but the speed in which our dinner came out was a little tardy. Due to the slow pace, we found ourselves getting rushed out by the wait staff after dinner as we were checking out the establishment. This left us with a bit of an unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice evening at The Stonebreaker. As this place continues to work on the customer experience, it will be important that they really focus on the service aspect. The location of this restaurant is off the beaten path. If they want repeat reservations from non-occupants of the hotel, they need to make the experience something beyond what Fayetteville restaurant hospitality has to offer. That said, I plan to return to The Stonebreaker and look forward to having a better (5 stars) experience.

Thank you for the kind review Scott! Sorry that the food was a little delayed getting to the table. Due to the festivities of the weekend we were a little saturated with large parties, which slowed the kitchens pace a little. We have learned a lot from this weekend and plan to make any adjustments needed and increase staffing to provide the best dining experience we can. Look forward to supplying you the 5 star visit you are looking for.

It’s new and they will have some things to work out. The atomsphere itself was lovely and the server was trying. Rundown of meal: Appetizers: Oysters were the biggest disappointment. The oysters themselves were warm, they were not shucked properly and the shells were inthe oysters. The tajin was not a compliment, but overpowering instead. I had two and the rest went to waste. Server seemed offended when I explained why they were not acceptable (and yes, we were charged). My husband’s wagyu burger was two over done smash patties. They were charred so much they were burnt. My scallops were the best part of the meal on (along with the Pinot, which was actually very good for a Pinot). The butternut squash that accompanied was also very good. They missed the part about the gluten allergy and stuck a piece of bread on half the bowl which luckily hadn’t been touching the food. I get what they’re trying to do. They should keep refining and they’ll get there.
