Opened in August 2013, Stoneacre Pantry was a neighborhood restaurant focused on sustainability and a positive relationship with our local environment. We brought these same values to our newest restaurant in Washington Square in September 2017. Our menu is small, seasonal, and supports nearby farms and fishermen with fish from nearby waters and meats from local farms that raise their animals humanely. The wine list highlights small producers from France.

The best brunch in Newport!!
Unique menu-best smoked salmon north of NewYork City.
The food was excellent and staff were very welcoming. Would highly recommend it
Beautiful ambiance ❤️we enjoyed our dinner ! Very cool place !!
The steak frites were great and a good French leaning wine list. This was at the end of a long driving vacation in New England, we were seafooded out. So the steak was perfect. Had a brasserie vibe.
Allison was great, so was the food!!!
We had an exceptional time at Stoneacre Brasserie overall. We went last week with a group of 7 to celebrate post-marathon. The decor and ambiance were both lovely - super sexy inside with a chic interior with many beautiful live plants that combined the 20s and modern elements very well. Our food and drinks were excellent overall - the nitro cold brew was especially noteworthy. My partner's food (steak and eggs) was delivered cold - our lovely and attentive server had this corrected immediately. The Croque Madam was excellent. We had a great time together in this beautiful space. Highly recommend!
Yummy brunch, delicious cocktail and pleasant staff.
My wife loved her fish. The taste and presentation was awesome. I had a veal chop that was tough and a little over-cooked.
It was perfect, food, ambiance, waitress all great!
The restaurant offers a great atmosphere but we were a bit disappointed in the appetizers. While the lobster arancini were perfectly made, they lacked much evidence of lobster. We also expected more smoky trout flavor in deviled eggs. The main dishes were more satisfying. The mussels and the risotto were well done. The service was great!
Stoneacre never disappoints. I love everything on their menu.
Always a pleasure to dine at Stoneacre. Great wine list, too.
Every course was delicious. Some unique items, very fresh and flavorful. Wanted to lick the bowl!
First visit and we will be back. Although food choices are limited, like everywhere else, our choices did not disappoint.
Our server, Allison, was great.
Absolutely loved the space at stoneacre such a cool location. Food was really good highly recommend the biscuits with sausage gravy. Waitress and hostesses were so nice and very helpful.
Great food and wine selection. Would visit again! A+
Mediocre food. The chicken tasted like a rotisserie chicken that was cut up for the purpose of the entre. Bland and somewhat cold. Not inexpensive, either. Too big of a place. Was much better when they were on lower Thames St.
We were running late for a show at the Jane Pickens Theater (across the street). We thought the show was at 8 and that we had plenty of time with a 6:30 reservation. We found out last minute that it was actually scheduled to start at 7:30. We explained the situation to the waiter and we had ordered, had our food served, ate, and managed to get our the door before 7:30. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. They let us get the bill and pay it while we were eating. The waiter and staff managed to remove the stress from a stressful situation. Kudos to them and we can't wait to go back another day when we can take our time.
Really good food, great service - friendly and not at all pretentious and knew the menu well. Ambiance is lively and welcoming too. We had French onion soup, the roast chicken over greens, mussels marinieres, and mashed potatoes…all good although the mussels could use some more butter and salt. Would definitely go back!
Quiet, Sunday evening. Food very good, service excellent.
The hash was underwhelming.
The chef was nice enough to make me mussels and frites which turned out to be terrible and the fries were wilted and dark brown.
The quiche was good and service good.
Did have a Wonderful dinner experience there a few months ago. Should I ever go back ?
WE very much enjoyed our meal. Steak frites, and we shared a kale Caesar salad. The Caesar was amazing! The best version of kale Caesar I have had anywhere! The steak frites were perfect. This was the best meal we had during our stay in Newport...and we had many good meals here!
We sat at a high table because even one week ahead the restaurant was fully booked - that is why I gave only 4 stars for ambience- otherwise it would be 4. The service was great and the waiter gave us great suggestions. I am a vegetarian and my husband isn’t - great choices for both of us. Highly recommend.
My friend and I were in Newport for a long weekend and this was one of our best meals. She loved the cauliflower app and her grilled chicken entree and I enjoyed the French onion soup and mussels with frites. Very interesting Mediterranean-inspired French cuisine and nice cocktail menu. Would definitely go again when in town.
Fun atmosphere and excellent service!
I had the bread pudding french toast and the french onion soup. Would reccomend!
Our server. Meaghan, was delightful. Very friendly and attentive.
The menu was eclectic and everything was delicious. The atmosphere/decor was pleasing but it was a bit loud.
Met friends for early dinner. The service was the best we have had in this town in a long time. My friends are all local and we will make sure to recommend you
The ambience and decor is beautiful but the food doesn't impress. Especially the cost of breakfast vs what you get. Its the small things like plate presentation that you would expect from the cost. The food and coffee tasted weak it was not worth the cost. I don't know if this is a covid thing but they don't give you butter/jam when you get toast nor when you order coffee did they give cream/sugar. I don't think there are many people that eat plain toast. This could also training of staff issue where they should have asked. My friends and I wouldn't return for breakfast service. It was early morning 9am not many people eating there so that probably was a sign that this place is not great for breakfast.
Attentive wait staff and good food with portions that didn’t overwhelm you. A very nice dining experience.
Beautiful evening. Everyone enjoyed their food.
Great experience, good food and super service.
Nice meals and a good range of options. Price was good and reflective of the realistic portion size. Good range of beers.
Brunch was delicious! Great menu. Can't wait to visit again.
The food was well prepared and presented and the service was prompt and attentive.
However, this is the place to go with the bros for a night out of drinking with decent food. VERY NOISY! Not the place for a quiet dinner with a spouse, date or family. We finished our entrees and left quickly with a headache. We would not go back.
Service was perfection ! We love management and the staff here !food is top notch
Great ambiance and amazing service
30th wedding anniversary that they made special! Me and my wife are foodies and love all types of restaurants, I would definitely recommend this place. The cost won’t break you and the food and service is amazing.
Limited menu and priced so that it was tough to say it was any better than average. Service folks were attentive, but obviously fairly new.
