Opened in August 2013, Stoneacre Pantry was a neighborhood restaurant focused on sustainability and a positive relationship with our local environment. We brought these same values to our newest restaurant in Washington Square in September 2017. Our menu is small, seasonal, and supports nearby farms and fishermen with fish from nearby waters and meats from local farms that raise their animals humanely. The wine list highlights small producers from France.

Beautiful evening. Everyone enjoyed their food.
Great experience, good food and super service.
Nice meals and a good range of options. Price was good and reflective of the realistic portion size. Good range of beers.
The food was well prepared and presented and the service was prompt and attentive.
However, this is the place to go with the bros for a night out of drinking with decent food. VERY NOISY! Not the place for a quiet dinner with a spouse, date or family. We finished our entrees and left quickly with a headache. We would not go back.
Service was perfection ! We love management and the staff here !food is top notch
Great ambiance and amazing service
30th wedding anniversary that they made special! Me and my wife are foodies and love all types of restaurants, I would definitely recommend this place. The cost won’t break you and the food and service is amazing.
Limited menu and priced so that it was tough to say it was any better than average. Service folks were attentive, but obviously fairly new.
Been there 9-10 times. Always had good food. Food was lousy, had better meals in college cafeterias. It was slopped on the plate, cold and over cooked. Total garbage.
Bar tender was not helpful and attentive at all. Forgot our knives when we ordered steak.
At the end, he put 3 glasses of red wine on the tab when we clearly got 1 each. He even defended himself by stating that my friend had a glass before. I’m not sure but maybe he was having a bad day.
Left immediately after we ate. Didn’t offer dessert.
What a fantastic meal we had! We had dined at Stoneacre a couple of years ago, and while we enjoyed it (so much so that we returned this summer), our experience this time was truly terrific. The food is interesting and creative and delicious (we do remember that from a couple of years ago); something for everyone in our (picky, lol) party. But it was our server, William P, who was remarkable! He was courteous and kind, incredibly competent and made our experience simply great. (I always marvel at waiters who don't write anything down (doesn't happen often), but who get every detail right, and this was William!). In a sea of understaffed restaurants these days, William is an absolute gem and Stoneacre should be so happy to have him. I hope when we return next time, he will still be there!
Excellent food, just seemed maybe overbooked and super busy for a Monday
Restaurant was able to accommodate our special request, and had the table waiting for us when we arrived. Food was excellent. Service was not at par with the level the food offerings or pricing. Server was very nice and friendly, but didn't really listen to what we ordered at times, and got things wrong and made us wait longer than should be expected (the bottle of wine that we ordered came after our meals, he spilled a bunch of wine when pouring at the table, he didn't put our white wine on ice at the table as we had requested, and we had to ask/wait for him for refills from that bottle). I would have expected a higher level of service here.
One of the best ambiance’s I’ve ever experienced!
Such a beautiful and roomy space. Food and drinks were amazing. Definitely recommend the biscuits for brunch, literally could’ve had 10.
Would definitely come back!
Amazing food and drinks! Exceptional staff!
Great drinks, great service and tasty food
Our dinning experience took around 2:30 hours as appetizers arrived an hour after seating….then we had to wait another 15 minutes for two entrees to arrive, then another 15 for the other two and another 10 minutes for the last entree to be served…it was a party of 5. It is mind boggling how your kitchen and staff could not get thing on the table at the same time as we saw another party arrive after us (same number of guests or more) and their food and drinks came out an appropriate time. Truly disappointed regarding staff, kitchen and the food was just bland.
Food is Mediocre
Loved our bartender Will !! He was the best
The appetizers were good, but apparently they forgot to put the order in for entrée which ended up taking 45 minutes. It was a chicken dish, and it was really dry and boring and not a great value.
Nice meal. No complaints.
ham and cheese biscuit is the greatest thing ever
We had an early dinner and it was fantastic. The best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. The octopus was perfect, the lobster arancini was flavorful and plentiful. Wonderful decor and great service. What else is there!
Even though service was exceptional and our drinks were made well, the food was mediocre at best and extremely over priced. We ordered lobster arancini balls, which were mostly mush in the center and no lobster to be found. My half of chicken was mostly dry and my husbands fish had many bones in his first bite. Overall, we wouldn’t go back.
Service and food were great!
This was the best meal we had in Newport during our month-long stay. Delicious deviled eggs, fried cauliflower, steamed mussels and frites. Nice wine selection. Gracious service. We'll definitely return!
Food was ok but they forgot our apps and we waited 40 minutes for our entrees. When they delivered them I pointed out we hadn’t had our apps which they hadn’t even realized themselves. They did comp some deserts which were very nice. Burger was tasty. Aside from the sketchy service it was very loud. One of those places with lots of hard walls and the sound just reverberates. Wouldn’t recommend.
The waitress didn’t catch on with the cues about when good times to interrupt and ascertain our needs. My dish was mediocre; the lobster barley risotto. The broth they used as a base tasted like a powdered consomé to me and the asparagus and peas were cooked to death and flavorless with no color.
Brought my teenage kids and they loved it
Great food, great service very good ambiance. Would go again the next time we visit Newport
The restaurant is beautiful but the portions are very small for the price.
Kenzie is the best server! So knowledge and helpful. 100% recommend.
Amazing breakfast and such a wonderful service team!
The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.
Great spot, wonderful server, very good food!
Good vibe, great atmosphere with an eclectic menu. We sampled a variety of appetizers and entrees. Some were excellent like the deviled eggs and French onio soup. Some were fair, such as the coque misseur. So it was enjoyable, but food was inconsistent.
Loved the food! Service was very good too
I love the food, owners, waitstaff, decor and style. My biggest disappointment is how loud it is. Sound travels tremendously. It was very hard to have a conversation while dining. We were there on a Tuesday so I thought it might be a little quieter but I was mistaken.
Everything else was fantastic!
Great food, stellar service, and overall excellent vibe
