Our server was great. Loved the French press coffee. Food was just OK. Had to ask for the bacon for the two BLT sandwiches we ordered, which was lame. Minimal tomato on the sand which too. I had heard great things about the brunch, but was not impressed with the food.

The fish part of my fish and chips was way over cooked, mostly inedible. My husbands pork chop didn’t have much flavor. Drinks were good. Salad was great!

Great neighborhood place! The food is outstanding, and the bar has quite a variety of options. The smoked Old Fashioned is a particularly outstanding drink, which goes great with the pork chop!

Everything was great. We thought the food was excellent. I had the pork chop entree which was a very thick cut. My wife loved the mac n cheese starter. We both thought the calamari starter was very flavorful and tasty. Our waitress was fantastic. Thanks Stone Turtle!

Pros- service, ambience, fondue board, tiger rolls Cons- 2 of us had the mushroom pasta and it was really bland. The other entrees were just ok -steak (cooked perfectly), salmon and mac and cheese. Dessert was great. I feel like there are other restaurants at this higher price point that have better food, so we will probably not be back.

Mother's Day at Stone Turtle is always yummy!! The French toast and fresh fruit is always a winner but it's all good! The service is always welcoming and charming! Highly recommend!

We started with margaritas and calamari. Both were so-so. Next was a Caesar salad that had no taste. We has to embellish it with salt and pepper. I had the Salmon and my partner has the pork chop. Both were just ok. Nothing special about any of the food or drink. Service was good. The order did have a mistake, but was immediately corrected once the server was notified.

Booked reservations for Mom and I as a treat for her birthday and Mother’s Day prior to visiting the Fox. The waitress was so friendly and suggested some amazing food along with a Smokey Ole Fashioned drink for Mom (that she loved). The stone turtle even places a keepsake turtle inside your frozen ice cube for you to take if you so wish. Mom enjoyed a delicious pork chop with Brussel sprouts and I had a delicious grilled salmon with asparagus and new potatoes. It was all so tasteful! The atmosphere is nice & relaxing, classy without being too over classy if you know what I mean. If you are seeking a delicious meal & have a love for whiskey/bourbon, I highly recommend.

We had a reservation so no issues with being sat at a table right away. There was a large party right behind us that was obnoxiously loud. We didn't complain but thought at one point we should ask to move but didn't. Took a minute for the waitress to come over but once she did she was great. We ordered two appetizers. The calamari and the tiger rolls. Calamari was the best dish of the night. The tiger rolls were delicious but thought they would be better if they were more the size of lumpia then egg rolls. I would describe it as a crap jalapeño popper, it was mild until it wasn't anymore. I had the burger and partner had the brisket sandwich. My burger was just a burger, nothing special. His sandwich was good but super super salty. I couldn't eat it and he was only able to get through half of it. Fries were good though. Overall, compared to some of the places we've ventured to in the area this place didn't make the top 10 for us.

Service was great! Food on the other hand, was pretty underwhelming. My wife got the mushroom pasta and I got the pork chop. Both entrees tasted as if they were reheated left overs. The pasta was way over cooked and mushy. The pork chop was mediocre, the Brussel sprouts were good, bit the polenta was hard and clumpy. Both entrees lacked flavor. Overall I would not recommend

Great food and service before show at the Fox. Our server was super sweet and attentive and mindful of time so we could get to the show on time. Making reservations is so easy via Open Table. Large portion sizes and great taste. One of our fav places to grab dinner before a show

House salad (served with lettuce only as they forgot all the other toppings) swimming in dressing and heaped on a plate. Ceasar salads where basically served the same way. NY strip was overly fatty and lacking seasoning, while the green peppercorn sauce was flavorful enough. Fish and chips came out overcooked and dry and Mushroom tagliatelle in a cream sauce was unimpressive. In this day and time dinners expect more for their money and this was a disappointment after hearing such good reviews of this place. Our server was pleasant enough but didn't even know if there was a special that night and took at least 10 minutes to even find out and this was at the beginning of dinner service.

Our appetizer, the Polynesian ribs, were quite good! We had high hopes. The service was decent. Our server came just the right amount to check on us. Unfortunately, the rest of our food was just OK. And for the money, I was hoping for better. My polenta side was cold, and the middle was dry and bready. The burrata was decent, but the tomatoes (“heirloom”) just came from a random grocery store. Probably because they aren’t in season. Our cocktails were pretty good. Brown derby was tasty, and the smoked old fashioned smelled delicious. But, the taste of the old fashioned wasn’t anything special. I was hopeful for better. I may give it another chance some day, but not going to be one I recommend to others, for now.

We were in St. Louis attending Wicked and chose Stone Turtle for dinner before the show. The food was excellent. We had five people in our party, and everyone enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was nice but as the restaurant started filling up the sound level became louder.
