There are better steak and seafood restaurants. The mahi was ordered by 2 in our party and both really didn't like it tough, overcooked and fishy. The onion petals are not worth the money...very few were served. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious and I wish I had ordered that for my meal! Plus the pretzel bread is fabulous but it came after our meal after many requests.
We thought to try someplace new. Never again. That 8oz Ribeye was a waste of time. Thin as paper and if it was 8oz it was a big stretch. The cowboy stray was impressive until you cut into it and realized it was 30% fat. Beer selection is really limited. No local beers on tap. It's no wonder a reservation was so easy to come by on a Friday evening
Needs ambiance or better prices, otherwise we enjoyed!
I was disappointed with the fried shrimp. They were chewy and breading was over cooked. The broccoli and brussel sprouts were too undercooked. Others in our party said their food was good but also thought veggies were undercooked. Our son ordered the coconut shrimp and said they were cooked properly. They were butterflied but the regular fried shrimp weren’t and would have been better if they were.
Service was excellent!
My husband and I shared a very pleasant Friday evening dinner at this restaurant. We made our reservation and it was a good thing since there were a few families/couples waiting. We were seated right on time. I chose the scallop dinner which was served with asparagus and risotto. My husband chose the chicken modiga. We both had caesar salads. To start, our salads were “ok” but lacked a bit of taste. With some added dressing, it was better. They also serve pretzel bread to accompany the salad which was nice. My husband enjoyed his meal as did I. The service was very good. This venue is a nice place for a good meal. I gave it four stars since it doesn’t completely stir the tastebuds to “5 star”, but it is good. The price is fair also.
We brought an employee and his wife here as they live in the area. Our waitress was nice but our food was very disappointing. Burnt coconut shrimp the New York strip we ordered was burnt on the outside and rare in the inside (for a medium request) the drinks were weak. Overall disappointing and we won’t revisit.
Average food, above average cost, Justin was a great server. Bad music, dismissive managers
Tara was great! Hope to have her every time! Will definitely be back!
The food is always very good here. Service has been mixed but it is nice to be in a quieter setting than some restaurants in town.p
Nice place and good service but steak was not so good. The steak should have been a better cut and it had a lot of gristle.
Place was real nice, got stuck by a large group of 10 though that were talking very loud. Food was great even though a little pricey for what we got. Overall id recommend it if u have the money to spend but not as a regular restaurant. Just for special occasions maybe
The waitetres was very good. The steak was okay at best.
The atmosphere was great, however, the food was subpar. The steaks were thin and neither one was served at the temperature it was ordered. We didn't bother sending them back b/c the booth in front of us and behind us were unhappy with their meals and were already occupying the staff with complaints! It was Valentine's Day so there was a limited menu (which we did not see advertised anywhere) and the only alternate for the salad that came with the meal was an extra portion of the side. There was no soup option which was a let down for those of us that do not eat salad. The mashed potatoes were thin and airy, similar to instant potatoes. Overall it was a big let down for the price.
Grossly overpriced for the quality of food you receive.
Have been here a few times before and has been excellent, but on Valentines day the food was disappointing (we both had the ribeye) this time , the steak and salad was really small. This valentines day menu was definitely overpriced, paid over $100 for 2 and left hungry. Also the employees kept opening the outside door which made my wife chilly in the dining room
We were for the Valentines special. When arrived for reservation our table was ready and the hostess and the waitress who introduced herself was gracious impressed me that she wanted to be sure we were satisfied both before and during the meal. The Shrimp Pasta that my wife had she said was absolutely marvelous. I had the Ribeye which as far as the flavor and tenderness was delicious, but it had a bit more fat weighed into it than I would like.
Since it was Valentine's Day, I thought there would be table cloths on the tables. Instead of just the
plain wooden table. I also thought Stone Summit could of spent, a little money on some nice candles. The candles were the little tea cup candles wrapped around a napkin that was bunched up to look decorative.
I think the Special Valentine meals were overpriced. The Salmon with the rice and salad was very good,
but paying $65.00 for salad, & entree was very high. You could of added the drink, and a desert for that price.
When we were given the pretzel bread, it was cut in half for some reason, and the waitress would only bring out one half a pretzel for each of us every time.
We have eaten here quite a few times, even ate lunch with our 50+ Church group once and always got 2 or 3 whole pretzels.
I made the reservations for my Husband and I, because I thought it might be romantic.

Very disappointed in the dinning experience. The menu was a "Valentines" version whivh had 3 price levels, expensive, very expensive and way over the top. In each price level one could pick from one of 3 offerings. I had steak and mashed potatoes. That was it for basically $32.50. I couldn't figure out whether the steak knife was dull or the steak was that difficult to cut. My spouse couldn't finish the mash potatoes because they had so much horse radish in them. The rest of the horse might have been the meat I was served. Her menu item was also $32.50. Very very dissapointed.
I think theres room for improvement, overall I thought it was good
We really like this place but our valentine's lunch was not great my meat was so tough could hardly eat it.my husbands meat was very fatty everything else was prefect that's why I gave it 4 stars we still had s good time but the meat not so good.for what we paid the meat should of been prefect and we were not going to complain then ,we did not have time for more food to be made over.
Went here for Valentine's day lunch with my sweetheart expecting the great food we normally have had in the past, only to find a "Valentine's Day" limited menu that had hiked up pricing from their normal menu. I thought about leaving, due to limited time for lunch I chose to stay. We noticed a number of other couples who were seated that left moments after viewing the menu. The waitress was great and her service was excellent. The food however, was far sub-par from what we've had here in the past, if I would have known the food would have turned out the way it did, I would have taken my wife somewhere else. How disappointing, my wife and I usually look forward to eating here, but I'm going to think twice in the future and will most definitely go to a different place on special day when they might pull the "special menu" junk again. Bad call on the special menu. I understand having a limited menu on busy days, but the prices where outrageous for the food we received and the quality was not the norm.
The service was wonderful and the food was good, but not great! The steaks didn’t have a ton of flavor and the Mac and cheese was gross. For the prices on the menu I expect much beer flavors!
There was a meeting in the room in the front. When it dismissed there was alot of distractions while people left and talked going to the front door.
We were excited to try this place. However, we were somewhat disappointed for a couple of reasons. When we set the reservation we were asked if it was a special occasion. We indicated that Yes, it was. When we got there we were seated near the kitchen, which was disappointing considering we were there for a special occasion. The mixed vegetables were awful... broccoli & cauliflower extremely overcooked and mushy...carrots were undercooked... and no flavor at all on any of them. The baked potato was very good with the crispy, salty skin. We would possibly try this restaurant again, but I would be very specific about asking where to sit and would order something different. I am always willing to give a second chance.
My steak was good , but had a lot of gristle. Hard to cut around.
Wife ordered the grouper, was too salty to eat. We sent it back for a piece w/ no hollandaise sauce, thinking that was where the excessive salt was. Waitress came back w/ a piece of gray, rubbery fish, and no fork. Food certainly left a bit to be desired. Waitress ( Cadry I think) was very good, prompt, courteous etc. Overall we did not have a particularly good dining experience. I may also add, this is the first time I've given a negative review of anything.
We love to bring our adult children here. Upscale and awesome food. Thanks so much.
The only downside was the knife provided was dull. Food was fantastic and fairly priced. Wine flights made trying new wines easy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great date location.
Was our first time there the wait staff was awsome as well as the food, can't wait to go back.
We had a dining reservation bu opted to sit at a bar table as the dining area looked a bit like a cafeteria. The bar had a great atmosphere and our bartender/ server was AWESOME.
The food was definitely better than the service. I’m not sure if our server had too many tables but she seemed to forget to bring us our drinks and food ordered on several occasions. We both got the Filet which was cooked perfect to order however lacked flavor. Not sure that we will come back to eat here at that price point. Several other restaurants at same price with better service and food taste.
Great food and great service! Our waitress Angie was wonderful!
50th Birthday dinner for my husband. Made reservations. Seated promptly. Good service. Tried the Lemon Drop Martini and my husband had the red wine flight. Our daughter order the 6 oz. sirloin and it was perfectly cooked. I didn't get a bite, but she said it was amazing! I tried the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans.... not something I would normally order, but it was very good. Complimentary cheesecake for dessert...very nice, although I would say average at best. Overall, Stone Summit is a very nice place with very good food. It's really nice having a restaurant of this caliber near home!
Food was good and the service was outstanding. Will eat here again, but will not order drinks. The bar really skimps on the alcohol.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there with friends!
The food is excellent and the service is great. Whether you want a full dinner or drinks and appetizers, Stone Summit is a great choice. The happy hour specials on both food and drinks in the bar area will pleasantly surprise anyone who has not yet been there. Wednesday and Thursday offer similar specials 'till later in the evening, for ladies' night.
Our waiter was excellent. The food was pretty good. For $26 I would've expected my prime rib be a little warmer than it was, but overall good flavor. Salad was not bagged & baked potato was huge. Their bread is a little strange as it's warm soft pretzels. Overall good experience & I think we will be back.
The food was great. The service not as much, but it wouldn't be a deterrent to return. The server left our drinks from the bar sit for at least 15 minutes before getting them to us. Other than that, everything was great. Food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful.
Service from ordering to food delivery to table very slow.
Chicken Modiga was tasteless and dry. Expected sirloin to be more tender, I prefer Texas Roadhose sirloin.
In general, this was a great place to eat. My review is a little skewed as my husband and I ate there on New Year's Eve, so it was a little crazy. The woman who waited on us pointed out she was a manager, however, she didn't really seem to know what was going on. For example, one of the meals was supposed to come with one side and salad. When I ordered, she told me I needed to choose two sides and did not offer a salad as one of the sides. I asked for A1 and she brought me water, we were done with our apps before she got us small plates, etc.
I think if we'd had a normal server and if it had been on a regular day, the service would have been excellent. I would definitely try this place again on a not so busy night.
