I love this restaurant and food! We ate here several times always top of the line. I brought my partner for his birthday and called in advance and asked how comfortable the outdoor seating and was told it's pretty good we have heaters. The lack of effort that was put for a winter outdoor seating was very disappointing. I was very reluctant to leave a review that is not favorable but I was expecting a lot more from this type of restaurant. Freezing iron table and chairs the tasty food completely cooled off in no time. The heaters were not sufficient at all. Not what I expected from a Resturant in this class where simple restaurants have done much better.
Excellent experience. Love all the staff. Treated so well. Food delicious.
Great service as always, great value!
Wonderful drinks, delicious food, friendly, attentive servers. What's not to like?
Great menu, amazing service. Given how cold it is getting, it may be a good idea to rethink the menu a bit so that items served outdoors stay warm longer (lots of work unfortunately!).
The food was wonderful, as always. It never disappoints
Stone Park has always been a spectacular restaurant. They have done an outstanding job keeping everyone feeling welcome and safe and distanced in this age of Covid. Their attention to detail and devotion to quality and flavors is as strong as ever. Can't wait to go back to the bustle and buzz of Stone Park on a packed night after this all passes.
It’s one of our favorite restaurant in Brooklyn
This restaurant is always so good! Friendly yet professional. The food is spot-on, with good portions, and the location and cozy feel of the corner overlooking the park adds to the whole experience.
always a memorable visit to Stone Park...staff very attentive and friendly...food was excellent
Always wonderful
We chose Park Stone Cafe for a business dinner with 8 people. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and the experience was excellent. I will definitely entertain clients here again. Thank you!!
We have eaten at Stone Park Cafe a number of times. The food and the service are always excellent. At our most recent visit, we were a group of five adults with varying tastes. Everyone was delighted with their meal.
It can be noisy when the restaurant is full but, if you arrive on the early side, it is not usually an issue. The Cafe is always worth a visit!
Awesome food, experience and everything else. Highly recommended.
Food is excellent! I’ve been there for brunch and it’s definitely good but their dinner is always absolutely amazing. The portions are perfect size and the flavor is always outstanding. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Very much a go to place for small sized business meetings.
This is likely the best restaurant in Park Slope. It's spendy, no doubt, but the staff didn't rush us, the food was excellent, and it made me question why I don't go more often. Until the bill came. It was worth the money, but it was a lot of money. So I have to save up to go back. And I will.
Ate at the bar. It’s a bar real drinkers would like. Friendly and skilled bartender. Food great. Terrific atmosphere.
I’ll start with the good. The service and food flavor were excellent. Don’t go here if you’re hungry though. The portion sizes were SMALL! $18 octopus appetizer. It was 1, 4 inch by 1/2 tentacle with some garnish. My sister got the scallops and there were 5 extremely small scallops. I got the burger and it was more like a slider. I order a beer and they gave me a different beer from the same brewery. They were gracious enough to remove it from my bill going back to the good service part.
I've been to Stone Park Cafe many times and they never disappoint. I'm an out of towner, but make it a point to dine here when ever I'm in the city.
The salmon salad and the butternut squash soup were both excellent. Healthy and tasty. It’s nice to know that you can eat out but still have genuinely healthy and delicious food. Will bring my husband back tomorrow for date night.
We went for New Year's Eve prix fixe and were underwhelmed. We had a relatively early reservation and they were already out of the lobster entree, which was one of the featured courses. Frankly, it felt like a bait and switch. The atmosphere was pretty subdued, music so quiet you could barely hear it. Food was good but not exceptional. It definitely did not seem worth the expense.
This was a great evening out with friends. I have food allergies and the waiter was very helpful. Two guys at our table had the burgers. The wine list was incredible. The two ladies enjoyed the salmon special which was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!
Stone Park Café is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The environment and staff are very welcoming and warm. My husband order fettuccini with shrimp and clams and it was delicious. I ordered a burger and it as well was very good. The service was outstanding going out of the way to make patrons happy. I would definitely return.
Outstanding as always!
Hi -- The main reason I wouldn't recommend this place is because there seems to be pork or bacon or some other pig product in almost every dish. We're not big fans of pork, and even if we were, it limits the range of the tastes and sensibilities of the dishes. For our party it made for a narrow slice of choices. Surely there are other ways to spice spice up a dish? Also, speaking of trying to eat healthy, the salads that we had as appetizers were tiny, even by standards of similar restaurants.
On the positive side, you took a reservation for eight people. Many Park Slope restaurants won't do that without dictating your menu and charging an excessive fee (they can go jump in a lake as far as I'm concerned). The service was good and it was lively but quiet enough to hear each other across the table, so that was definitely a plus.
Yes. This is a real Brooklyn gem! It has ambiance, good food and drink and an attentive staff.
Mussel appetizer was delicious but we all agreed that our hamburgers were disappointing—somewhat dry and flavorless. This was surprising because usually the hamburgers here are delicious.
Wonderful food, lovely service, a bit pricey but definitely great for a special evening if you’re in my moderate income level.
My wife and I love going to Stone Park. We hadn't been in for a while before this visit, and it felt like coming home. From the gracious greeting and the wonderfully efficient service to the terrific food, it was a great visit. One of the specials was a mushroom soup, and it was both light and filling at the same time. We have found the food to be consistently excellent over the years, and this visit was no exception. My wife and I intend to resume the frequency of our visits. We feel very lucky to have such a great restaurant as Stone Park in our neighborhood.
So lovely to be able to hear one another!!! The beet infused vodka - was so delish - ended up with two!!! My bad !!! The cream of mushroom soup, and frisée salad were the apps we shared - then salmon. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. There is care and sensitivity with the flavors and portions were just right! Felt full but healthy and energetic the next day!!!
Amazing! Absolutely incredible food. A must if you are in the Park Slope area.
Very cozy, pretty space, and we were given a table tucked in the corner, which was lovely. Butternut squash soup was divine, my Chatham codfish special was very good, moist and crisp with a special little cram sauce to pour on top, pork chops were decent, not amazing. Great wine list, excellent desserts, we would go back again, for sure.
Dinner was pleasant mostly due to the environment. The ingredients were fresh but overall, nothing on the table was exceptional. I heard brunch here is good, although have not tried it. Service was adequate.
Delicious food, very patient wait staff as we got delayed by traffic and thoroughly enjoyable evening in a very pleasant environment. Highly recommend.
I returned to Stone Park Cafe after a number of years, and it was still amazing. My salad and omelette were delicious, and the chocolate bread pudding was beyond amazing. The space is beautiful and the service was great. Best restaurant in Park Slope.
Food was very delicious - cooked perfectly and just the right portion. I have gluten, egg and shellfish intolerances and they were very accommodating - I got the halibut special. The space is nice but it was pretty loud inside which made it hard to have a conversation.
Very pleasant but you have not changed your menu for years. Therefore, kind of boring.
Stone Park Cafe has been one of my favorites since it opened.
I live in NYC starting in 1980 and lived in Brooklyn from 1988 to 2016.
I have been away from Brooklyn for ~3.5 years living in SF.
Went back to see the neighborhood with 2 work colleagues.
We sat outside on the side walk and had a great meal with great wine.
It was a wonderful evening and the Stone Park Team took great care of us.
Glad to see that they are still on top of their game.
The ambiance was perfect for a romantic date night. We started with the cauliflower soup, which was delicious and well-balanced, then ordered the whole branzino fish which was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and just the right balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. The cocktail menu offers a lot of options - would definitely recommend the "Smoke and Flowers" if you're into mezcal.
