   Booked here for Xmas mates do. Lovely looking restaurant but on a Tuesday night early December was basically empty, just one table taken although a further table taken later in the night. Food and service was very good obviously because it was empty. Reasonably priced compared to the Bogaz in Moulsham Street and food was just as good. This restaurant is just outside the actual centre of Chelmsford but is worth the visit. Recommended.

   Food was lovely, but portion sizes were a little small for my liking. Should have ordered more.

   Went with friends , food was ok until they gave me a meat mousakka when I am a vegetarian , my husband was.given mine , they were apologetic but too late by then really . wouldn't go back there

   Very quiet on a Monday evening but we were looked after very well by our Waiter Mustaffa. The food was delicious, particularly the starters! We will definitely return. I am looking forward to trying more dishes from this lovely menu!

   Fantastic food, will definitely return! Made us feel so welcome . Went for a birthday meal and they put balloons out and sang happy birthday.

   Fantastic food absolutely great value, just as good as bogash if not better. Service is excellent and cannot fault it. Delicious prawns, chicken kebab, salads everythibg was first class

   Starter was lovely ! Mains very poor ... the kebabs were filled mainly with bread, instead of meat ...my dish had to be sent back as lamb was so small and so much veg was so so disappointing ! We had such high expectations as when you first opened the reviews were good ! We spent a lot of money in your restaurant ! Not impressed one bit !

    Stone Grill in Chelmsford makes a refreshing change from the usual chain restaurants. The food was delicious but we felt that the service lacked professionalism and common courtesy (our waitress couldn't have been less helpful!).
