First of all they required us to order food by app. We had trouble with it and they still insisted in us ordering by app. The water was tap with no ice...yuck! They don't offer soft drinks...what the heck! My ribs were dry. The only item I liked was the pretzel and lemonade. My husband liked the beer. But I won't be returning.

The no contact service is a terrible business model. The buffet menu and no one is available to ask questions to.
Absolutely no customer service and the food quality and running of food was poor. After talking to multiple people they said the same thing I’ll never go back. Go to field works instead.

There are very few vegetarian options and the water cups were plastic, for such a fantastic location I was expecting a far better dining experience, I definitely think this restaurant could step up his game, also the beers were good but I wish there was a flight that offered me to taste all of them.

Great staff, ambience and most of all beer. The burger, the brisket burger is flippin' awesome. The parking allows you to walk off the beer. :)

The atmosphere was great outside and the staff was very friendly. All of the beer was delicious as was the meat due to the fact they smoke in house. We recommended it to people we met and they ended up going as well.

I enjoyed the 2-meat platter with custom beer sampling $3 for 5oz pours. Such a fun experience with amazing food. The Brisket was the best! The only difficulty part is finding parking. Highly recommended!!!

Arrived earlier than expected to a 5:30 pm dinner reservation and was seated at 4:45pm. Because arrival was earlier than expected, had to stand in line (20 mins) and then wait to be seated which was in the entrance lobby near the bar/front door. The day was windy and chilly and cold and the person at the door seated us inside behind a concrete partition which blocked the wind. We were told we had to order our own meal from the app and they would bring it to us, which they did. If ordering from the app there is a 18%, 20%, or 22% gratuity area at the prompt for payment before submitting your order. You can also choose to start a tab. The lobby area was noisy and there was much activity around the bar area but I was able to converse normally with my table mate without issue. What they did not do is check on us throughout the meal. One person did stop and ask us if everything was ok which at that point we were almost done with our meal. I did have to go to the bar to ask one of the servers what dish was popular amongst patrons as no one offered us suggestions upon seating us. This was the first time coming to the establishment which I thought was bad form for the person seating patrons to do. The food was pretty good, they gave big servings of meat. The price was cheap (for this area) and meal options were varied. We payed $33.50 for two meals, 1 drink and with a 20% tip and tax we payed $42.80 out the door. The food/beverages was prepared and plated/presented acceptably and for that I give credit to the chef. Other than the food I felt we had to basically fend for ourselves once we were seated. And, to add insult to injury, because the person seating us did not reflect our later reservation on the schedule, they submitted a “no-show” to Opentable leaving me, the patron, the burden of clarifying what had occurred. That is why this establishment gets 2 stars overall and we will not be returning to this place next month when we come back for the Napa Wine Train tours.

Absolutely loved the Mac N cheese. I ordered the chicken sandwich and red beer it was very good. I belive my husband got a pulled pork and brisket sandwich and loved it.

Cold welcome, almost begrudgingly allowed us in even with a reservation. Cold outside, very few heaters (we got none) and when asked about a menu, you had to order on your phone via QR code. This is ok I suppose...but you don’t get napkins or any other “amenities “ so to speak without going back to a QR code....and waiting.... no matter what. The service was cold and emotionally devoid of any personal touch. I was told by one it’s not their fault! The “management “ set it up that way. The food was cold in seconds being outside and you can’t ask for anything unusual- ala - QR code is limited and unwieldy. You have to set up an account, register a card....put your table number in.... all At NAPA Prices! I say STAY AWAY!!!!! Until and when they change this lousy setup....Stay Away! They put 20% default tip in your order....for what? A busboy level of service???? They are crazy. Forget this place and move on to better pastures. If I wanted to “self checkout “ I would ask for a job there and take the employees discount. HARD PASS.

When you are seated by the hostess outside and the weather is horrible, things get off to a bad start. Then when you ask for a heater and are told, that one isn't working, it continues the bad start. Then when you sit for 10 minutes without ever seeing a server, you get up and leave. Ended up at a small pizza joint across the bridge that I would much rather recommend.

When we were sat down that was the last we saw of anyone until our food came which I understand due to the COVID requirements but when we were trying to leave we had to chase someone down for to go boxes. We had beans, salad, Cole slaw etc. they only brought a box with no way to separate the food in small containers.

I would say they waiters need to at least check on people to see how they are doing. Maybe earn their tip...

I don't know if it's Pandemic fatigue or if the staff just doesn't care. We've come here many times and occasionally used OpenTable. It seems to be hit or miss on the service.

To be perfectly clear, the food is ALWAYS good,as is the beer, (as should be expected, they're a fairly famous brew house).

We've had great service and we've had meh service.

This last time we felt like we were a nuisance to the staff and that it was irritating for us to be there. Just for refeerence we grew up in the hotel/restaurant business and are always respectful and patient, we tip well and never act entitled or rude.

The tips suggested on the online ordering menu that is pretty much required during this pandemic automatically suggeests a 20% tip, though one can change it. So I don't know if they have just grown complacent knowing they're getting good tips regardless of the service they provide or if they are just poor servers.

As a last note we have also noted that the service time is all over the place. One time the food comes out within 4 to 5 minutes, and then this last time we had to wait 10 minutes for more condiments and over 20 minutes for a side order.

Despite having a reservation, we were sat next to a noisy bar and not in the nice part of the restaurant (tho I'm glad I had used OpenTable to bypass the line out the door). The whatever it's called symbol on the table that we needed to scan with our phones to access the menu was so incredibly small that both our modern phones had difficulty focussing on them. Unfortunately, the whole ordering process is done on a mobile web browser instead of looking at an easier to read menu. There was so much awkwardness trying to input credit card info and everything else. There were no instructions on how to use their ordering system. I even had to pass a "captcha" test just to order some food. Otherwise, the place was nice, the staff was nice too. The little food we had was decent and the beers magnificent. I will be going again.

Nice back patio as well as indoor seating. Everything is ordered through QR code and the staff deliver it quickly. We tried the ribs and pretzel, both were great. Definitely a good stop for lunch.

It took over 20 minutes to get our first order of food and drinks. Food was lukewarm for all 4 of us. That was disappointing! We ordered another round of drinks early because we didn’t know how long it would take, they ended up coming right away so we had 8 drinks on our table for quite a bit of time. At least we had we had ice buckets.

The table view was great! The QR code and app were not super user friendly...we had a hard time ordering just water...
The beer was good, food was ok. Some was a little plain in flavor, beans had a weird chili flavor, the mac and cheese was mushy :( The salad dressing was really sweet. Overall it was only ok. Would go back for ambience and beer but skip the food.

What a joy our lunch was, sitting outside overlooking the Napa River! Easy parking in Second Street Garage. We loved roaming and exploring the charming downtown streets post lunch also. Stone's beer flight was also excellent. Great outing.

Everyone was the coolest ever!!! The beer was bomb, the food was great, the environment was awesome. The staff is absolutely outstanding, they even helped me pull a prank on my boyfriend. Literally the entire staff bought into it, you guys are amazing!! Can’t wait to be back.

It took forever to get our beverages, the food when delivered was cold. Though nearly empty, we were seated near the road, and in a cold spot with winds. Staff just did bare minimum, and since you pay at the time of ordering, the tip is done before service. The only good thing was the pretzel.
