Stone Brewing - Napa
Went for my birthday lunch with my wife and son. Had a good time. The food was better than most brew pubs, and they had a great selection from their different brewery locations. We also took home a couple cans of fresh beer from their custom canning setup
Service was good. I would recommend for beer yes but not for food. They should stick with beer.
The dining area look and atmosphere was awesome. Great service and really good and tasty menu option
We really enjoyed our experience - fun place, great waitress and good food ....though menu could stand some tweaking. The Kimchi salad was too hot so the waitress replaced it and the Caesar salad was just average. The Brisket sandwiches were tasty and of course the variety of beers were just right.
Will go back!
Went with friends who’ve been to other Stone locations; all agreed that this did not meet expectations. A disappointing meal overall. Beer was good though.
We were a table of 4 that came in for a birthday. We forgot to mention the birthday so unsure if they do anything for that. We were seated very quickly upon arrival by the manager. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We appreciated the meal pacing and the food was piping hot. The drinks came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The food also came out exactly as ordered. The pretzel appetizer is delicious. I ordered the burger and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Both were also very tasty. The bread pudding and chocolate cake were very good. The payment was processed quickly.
Service was extremely slow and my steak arrived cold, like it was done and sitting while the rest of the table's food was being cooked. But our server was very friendly and everything else tasted great.
As locals, we have been wanting to check out this beautiful building & support a new place.
We walked in to a sign saying “wait to be seated”, however there was no one around to seat or direct us. It appears you need to go upstairs to get seated.
We were most excited to try the beer—the flights are the best way to taste a variety!
Interestingly, we were ended up liking our BBQ platter, salad and pretzel better than the beer! Guess we are not IPA fans after all...
We went on a slow night. Not too many people there so the noise was low. Food was AMAZING so I have to admit I didn't expect that from a brew pub. The server was beyond slow, never checking in and forgetting our drink orders. We sat upstairs so the bartender covered for our server and saved the night. I would totally recommend this place and my wife and I will be back, this time hoping for a more attentive serve.
Nice tastings available and the salmon was delicious!
Super limited menu. No burger or fries in a pub? No full bar. Cold food.
We loved the food and the beer options. Thanks for serving Resilience. You should market your spiced nuts!
Took over an hour to get food after being seated - service was awful. The food was fine but nothing special. Parking is a few blocks away.
Friendly staff. Great beer selection. Food items go from meat centric to the Impossible burger. Great view of the river as well.
Would like some signeage. Only marker is the address number. Would never know it was there
Company get together
Wonderful. Cozy & personable. I’d go back again and again.
Service was very slow even though the did not seem busy.
Great NYE Celebration! We had the three course meal with beer pairings. Awesome food, beer, service, and a great live band!
Great New years menu! The Beers that were paired with the dinner were spot on! The Music was fun - Wish he had made reservations for later in the even to stay and enjoy the new years Celebration! So fun!
We had a great lunch. The service was outstanding. The view from our table was great.
I’ll preface this with that I’ve been a long time fan of stone beers and their history. My “going to the chair” beer would be 10th anniversary ruination. I was excited to be in Napa and have opportunity to go to Stone. The food (I ordered brisket and wife ordered pulled pork with intention of sharing) had zero, and I mean zero flavor. Best part was bun which was made by ABC, local bakery. Now for the beer. Really disappointed. All the Napa brews were these complicated recipes with little or no flavor. Tried three and all tasted the same. I avoid going for beers not brewed there for a reason. Anyway I know it’s new and hopefully they’ll get it turned around. Building is awesome setting. Give it a try and maybe prove me wrong.
What’s not to like about good food and good beer? We were there at opening on a Sunday and it didn’t start filling up until after 11:45. Really liked the second floor garage doors that open to the river. No parking onsite but a short walk from several downtown parking lots. Would frequent this place if I lived close and love the restoration of the old building. If you like hoppy beers and good bar food-go. If you don’t, go anyway and enjoy the location with a appetizer and iced tea!
Beer was great, food was great, service was great. As you can tell we had a great lunch! I would definitely recommend Stone Brewing. Can't wait to go back.
Great ambience. Nice servers very informative. Would do it again!
The beer, food and overall experience get better with each visit. Keep up the good work.
Very casual, approachable brew pub. The menu is limited but there is enough variety. My husband and I had the Impossible burger, very good! Our son had the prime rib sandwich, also very good. For the beer lover there is a nice variety of brews to choose from. You can even design your own flight. They had a few wines for those of us who do not like beer. Overall, a great spot for a casual lunch.
This place is a rad castle and the burger was melt in your mouth good. Highly recommend!
This place is beautiful, the beer is awesome, food is terrific. But perhaps due to their San Diego roots they seem to think they need to keep the doors to the river open 100% of the time. That's great in the warmer months but the place is freezing in the winter. Had lunch here in Dec 18 and it was totally comfortable upstairs at first, then they opened ALL the windows on a rainy cold day and froze us out of the place.
Great beers and atmosphere. It was a nice spot for a rainy day next to the fireplace. Can’t wait to go during the summer and be able to sit outside.
We came to taste beer, and have a bit to eat. The beer choices were great. And one appetizer and one entree was enough for three people. Excellent food.
I stopped in for a beer order pick up and stayed for lunch. The food was tasty! The portions were just right with a great flavor profile that hit the spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful to get the food out quickly and offer hints to the complex and large beer list. This is a great addition to a world-class wine region.
Building is beautiful, beer is great. Busy place so service was stretched. We should have gotten a beer at the bar downstairs before we checked in as once we were seated took 20 mins to take a drink order. We were early for our reservation so fair enough. Food came quickly and was really good, beyond expectations actually. We will be back plenty, great addition to the Napa scene.
Fantastic! The rustic, castle like atmosphere is awesome!
Beer is very good but food prices are too high for the small portions. I suggest go for the beer before or after dinner but eat something more reasonably priced
This place is a fun place to visit. The beer is great, the food is good, food menu is limited.
Really cool restored old building right on the river.
Spent the afternoon with beer tastings and food. Gave 4 stars for food because I found a hair in my food. The staff quickly made it right and apologized heavily. The food itself was amazing but a hair is never acceptable and they agree.
Awesome great place!
I like this place, and the people are friendly. However, parking is down the street, and the menu is very limited.
