Alaskan King Crab
Outstanding from start to finish. Service and were great.
Normally you guys are superb however this round was bumpy slow and the crab legs were dried out and over steamed.
We will be back and we understand you all can have a bad or off day!
They were not prepared for outdoor dining comfort. Inadequate protection from weather. If you can’t provide that, do not offer outdoor seating.
Food was sub-par from past experience. Lobster on deviled eggs was old and VERY fishy. Substituted a “sesame seed bun” for Brioche which made the burger substandard
When we arrived they seated us outside in a tent. The temp was at freezing. We asked for a table inside but told they had tables only for larger groups. We then left.
I enjoy going to Stoic & Genuine, especially during the afternoon Oyster/Happy Hour! The food is fantastic and the service is always great. The cast-iron cornbread with honey butter is ridiculously amazing and literally one of the best values anywhere. And it's my go to in Denver for a lobster roll. Great place!
We ordered the deviled eggs with lobster and celery.
We then ordered clam chowder and some cornbread.
We finished with lemon bars for dessert. The weather was perfect and there was lots of room between tables. The food was very good and the service was a little slow. It was a great lunch and I would recommend the outdoor seating as long as there is no wind and about 60 degrees.
Felt very comfortable and kept warm with the heaters sitting outside. Service was great!
This is one of the best dinner we have had in years, and we go out to dinner alot. Service was excellent, we sat outside beautiful night, appetizers and entrees were fantastic. I also had a wonderful Pinot Noir. Can't wait to go back.
Loved the food and the attentiveness of the staff! Great experience overall!
Food and location were great. Service was slower than expected and wait staff was a little inattentive. However, not to a degree that would keep us from coming back. Would recommend.
Great drinks, meal and service. Perfect, being outside on a warm evening. Thank you.
It was a very enjoyable meal and food was tasty and fresh. Just a bit on the expensive side. We couldn’t afford to dine here often.
Lauren was fantastic and made our day extra special.
This was absolutely one of the, if not the worst experiences I’ve had at Stoic and just in general for Denver dining. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out, our app took 20 minutes to arrive, our dinner took another 30 minutes and once we had dinner, half of it was missing. Lauren, our server, didn’t seem to have a sense of urgency. She recognized our food was wrong and took forever but didn’t really care. I was shocked she didn’t try to apologize or make it better. I expect a higher quality of service from here and am so disappointed in my experience.
We had oysters and they were fresh and delicious. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!
We were there this week for Oyster fest there were only three types of oysters to pick from they were just OK and not discounted for oyster fest had to poor boys and the oysters were well over done and breaded and a heavy breading of hot sauce and you only get four little oysters in a big bun had the clam chowder it was good but it came out not hot it was cold The fish and chips were OK call there were four of us the bill was over $200 for the four of us for bad food
Fire!!! Great tasting food and the service was beyond satisfactory. I was bit late for my birthday dinner reservation, however the manager on duty at the time (short haired woman) told me not to worry and got me seated right away. Even the waitress was extremely helpful and caring the entire time. I’d recommend!
Great service! It was our 1st Anniversary and they made it very special. Even with COVID this is an amazing place to go. Highly recommended!!
Great oyster hour, tried the east coast and west coast. Both were great. Drink specials too. Service was excellent. Nice outdoor seating at union station. Wanted to try more of the menu. Very pricey even for a seafood restaurant.
Original seafood flavors with fresh local vegetables.
Love the food and service!
Food was just ok for the price.
A refreshing dining option in the middle of downtown. Fantastic spot for those looking for seafood heavy menu. Wonderful wine list that compliments all the food offered.
Not crowded on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Service was Awesome.
We are only eating at restaurants that have outdoor seating. Stoic and Genuine have great outdoor space (though it can be somewhat noisy). The oysters are some of the freshest and tastiest I've found in the city. It is not a cheap date, but a delicious one.
Not the experience that we are used to at S&G. We sat for 25 minutes before we even had a drink served. I had to ask to order. The ceviche was tasty, but the shrimp had the tails on making it very hard to eat. Not a common way of serving cebiche. The mussels and deviled eggs were good. The bread with the mussels was so burnt we could t even eat it. The cioppino was good but a very small portion for $25. We asked for bread with the cioppino and it never came. Overall for a $225 meal for 2 it was disappointing. This was my first time out since March and it was our anniversary and I wish we would have w stayed home.
We dine in restaurants every Friday and Saturday. We're frequently at S & G. Your seafood selection is rather limited.
It would be nice to have a few more choices.
We had a great experience!
The service was friendly but the atmosphere and quality of food lacked my expectations.
This was absolutely amazing in every way. The food, drinks and service was more than we could have asked for! We will definitely be back!
The staff is delightful. The outside setting is beautiful and we feel safe during Covid - We also love the food- interesting choices. The corn bread is memorable. We can't be here without ordering the cornbread.
Great experience every time!
great outdoor patio. food is super fresh and yummy. service is prompt and attentive.
We ordered the shrimp, whole fish and corn bread and coke slaw. Shrimp was good, tasty. Whole fish was Jared between 2 people- barely enough for two even tho we asked the waiter and very spicy. Cole slaw tastes like it was from a grocery store, corn bread are individual size, ours were dry and not toasty at all. Overall, disappointing. Service was fair, food took an oddly long tone and the restaurant was pretty empty. It’s pricey as well!
Things started off just fine. Our apps were good and we got our drinks as expected. When our main course arrived, we shared a large amount of seafood between my husband and I. All I can say, is for >$200 I would expect them to have someone in the kitchen that knows how to cook seafood without overcooking it. Everything was chewy, including the lobster and king crab - items, if cooked right, should melt in your mouth. Very disappointing experience to say the least.
Our first post-COVID dining experience. We sat outside and from the patio setup to servers, couldn’t have felt safer!
You will never be sorry ordering the whole haddock here. The roasted chicken is also a sure bet.

Was very excited for this restaurant since it has been making the lists for awhile. Ambience was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was a bit of a let down, for the price tag I expected higher level craftsmanship and creativity. Probably won’t recommend for serious foodies, good for a date night.
