Always a dependable meal. Service is accommodating and reliable. We have never been disappointed. Chef can be flexible with alternatives to the menu.
Ask usual the stockyard continually has great food and service. Always consistent.
Used open table to make reservation was so easy and was ready when we arrived 😊tips had great taste but were small prime rib was excellent
Great staff. Very accommodating to our desire to sit outside. Attentive waitress . Great food ! Love the Stockyard
The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. We had a wonderful time
The best steakhouse restaurant in the Boston area.
The best thing beside the good food is every time you go there it is consistently the same. Always! been there many times the food is always great the wait staff is great and it just makes for a great dinner every time.
Celebrating Birthday !! Good experience. Waitress Sara was efficient and personable. We have been going to the Stockyard for many years and it is nice to see an energetic restaurant that is trying to maintain their long time standards in the Community.
Great meal tonight. Server was wonderful. Fillet mignon, burger, steak tips, lobster ravioli and baked haddock all delicious.
great food great service and great time , only draw back don't sit by bar as its very loud
All around a wonderful meal.
Overall a pleasant experience, however the waiter, who had a very nice personality, was not attentive at all. Food was not prepared well - our lobster was over cooked and our steak was undercooked - since our waiter wasn’t around we could not let him know we had issues (especially getting the steak refired). Given how many great restaurants are in Boston, we will not be back.
Place was nice, the food was good just the $36 steak was small and not worth the money.
Great service, excellent food and reasonable prices for a Boston restaurant.
Easy parking. Just off I-90. It was a slow night, butI I asked for a quiet spot. They offered the outdoor patio or a back room indoors. Service very good and strip steak great. Will return next time I am in Boston or Cambridge.
Always a great dining experience. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic, as usual. Ambiance is great.
The way you serve your martinis makes it difficult to get them cold enough, as in shaken and served immediately. Perhaps the waitress is allowing them to sit because it is iced, but it’s not cold enough by the time it gets to the table. We had several at our table. Thought you should know.
We love the Stockyard - its retro ambiance, the great food, bar, service and price point are always a home run. When we want comfort, a great steak and sides, and great conversation with friends, we head to the Stockyard.
We were on our honeymoon and this was one of our last stops. The clam chowder was delicious. I had haddock which was good, I just didn’t know what to expect.
Stockyard is one of our favorite restaurants and we have dined there dozens of times. The quality had been variable over the years but recently sustained at a good level. For some reason Sundays tend to be of a lesser quality both at the levels of produce and cooking. Hopefully management will take notice.
My family was seated at a table next to the kitchen. Needless to say it was very loud.
The server was too preoccupied with other guests or was just overwhelmed to focus any attention on our table. My daughter’s filet was over cooked and had to be sent back. After that the server was virtually invisible. Did not come back to see how our food was -the sides that we ordered were barely warm. Did not ask if we wanted refills on our drinks until the table was cleared and we asked for the check. Very disappointing!
Waitress was a little lazy
Open bar with plenty of seating. Food is good with few options for every palate.
Kevin our waiter was superb! Food way great my steak was overcooked -I requested medium and it was well done but still very tasty
Outstanding meal and outstanding service. Definitely a new favorite place for us.
Best steak place in Boston period.
We love the Stockyard!
Food , service, bartenders all outstanding !!
Good food. A little bit noisy. Overall good experience.
Excellent food. Our waitress was Deb. I will ask for her every time. 👍🏼
Great food and service. Allowed time for conversation in a comfortable environment
Just had some apps. Food was good. Server was friendly and efficient.
First time visiting this restaurant. Our waitress was very nice, patient and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals very much. We will definitely return!
We hadn't been here in a few years and we were pleasantly surprised. Pork Chops, Steak and Lobster tail were all cooked beautifully. Sides were delicious and the waitress was great. All in all a wonderful time!
It's always been a favorite. We hadn't been in over a year, found we'd be in the area, so took the opportunity to return. We found it was just as good as we remembered.
we love stockyard! yummy food, excellent service and fun ambience! thank you!
Have been many times… Always a good place to go… More noisy inside… We sat outside…
The food is always amazing! The wait staff are great, the best is Alex!
The BEST people
Rating is really 3.5. Cocktails and onion soup were excellent. Entrees (mostly beef) were ok not great. Sides were very average a huge disappointment. Deserts were large and Ok. Service was Ok. Noise level was high. In general maybe slightly above average for the cost
