Stockyard Burgers and Bones - Sandy Springs Ratings and Reviews
We have visited the other locations in Atlanta and had a great experience. At this location we had a horrible waiter and incredibly slow service. Over 2 hr dinner just for a burger. Will not go back to this location, but will heard back to the Vinings & Marietta locations.
The food was tasty and plentiful; our server was nice but was slow in taking care of our needs. We had to ask for napkins and silverware and had to ask for drink refills. When our meals were served, the people with the plates didn't know which dinner was to given to which diner. They are only open for dinner not lunch.
Was very impressed with the pricing. I really expected it to be more. The burgers were very good and the tater tots were fantastic.
We were a party of eight, but even beyond that, the service was slow for us. There were at least 4 other tables that ordered after us but were served and mostly finished before our food arrived. There was not any notice of that, or attempt to fix it.
Beyond that, it was very good.
I was excited to have this place come to Sandy Springs but our service was terrible and it took about 30 minutes to get a glass of wine then another 30 for our food. The food was mediocre at best. This place is going to have to step up its game to last in our neighborhood!
Went for lunch , nice concept with 2 restaurants in one , one side is Asian other is stockyard separated in building but common entrance. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Several very unique offerings and burger was cooked perfect and sat on a fresh H&F bun. Fries were ok but had several other options to choose from such as onion rings and mac and cheese. Good service . Would recommend if you are in Sandy Springs
Had a family dinner for 10 people here, two were small children. Waiter Reggie was very nice and attentive. Service was great. The staff made sure everyone at our table was happy. Everyone could find something they liked. Very good menu with lots to choose from. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good prices. It's great when 10 people are all happy! Glad Sandy Springs added another good restaurant to go to. We had a great time and will be coming back!
We enjoyed dinner here, tasting the corn dogs, BBQ chicken breast, and ribs. All were great, though they came out cold the first time and needed to be remade. Fortunately, the staff was attentive and management was engaged in fixing the situation.
The hot dog batter is much lighter and sweeter than your traditional corn meal, which made them more interesting. The main dishes were also well executed. In particular, though, the sweet potato tots and mac & cheese were exceptional. Full of flavors that you don't ordinarily find, these were unexpected highlights.
The only two suggestions, not related to the food, are the temperature control of the restaurant and valet service. Our booth was seated such that the air conditioning washed down the walls and into our area so strongly, you could feel the breeze if you were next to it. Even with our jackets on, it was uncomfortably cool. The valet service was friendly, but unnecessary. This slowed down the processing of coming and going, and cost a few extra bucks when there seems to be lots of parking there.
Overall, I would be willing to try Stockyard again, though. The food was inventive and delicious once it arrived hot. The staff was friendly, and engaging too.
