Stock Market Restaurant is situated in a history rich 150 year old flour mill in Salamanca on Hobart's waterfront. We are a small team, with a focus on supporting Tasmanian growers, suppliers & creators.

Our dishes are curated by our award winning executive chef, Josh Retzer, using the finest Tasmanian produce. We offer brunch, coffee, drinks, & bottomless brunch in the day. Of an evening we offer an ever evolving dinner menu as well as a chef's menu with matched wines.

Our intimate indoor dining space encourages a friendly & attentive experience that is genuine & tailored. We also have an outdoor dining space that is perfect for a long lunch or a coffee date. We're dog lovers at Stock Market, so your four legged friend is welcome.

Food was excellent. Small menu with seasonal specials. We had Tbone special, slow cooked beef ribs, risotto. Wow, all were excellent. Wine list again small but well curated. Will definitely return.

Really really noisy intoxicated female patron. Acoustics not great. Manager should have asked her to tone it down. Food was delish. Wine menu was limited.

Amazing food. We had fried chicken and kingfish entree, then seafood risotto and beef rib mains. All were exceptional - highly recommend!

Best risotto I’ve had EVER. Chef was incredible—and it was a joy watching him work and then be able to eat his food. Dessert was also to-die-for. Highly recommend.

Delicious feed me menu. If we could have had some vegetables or crunch with the delicious protein courses it would have been even better. Staff were friendly and ambience good. Nice selection of local wine.
