   We loved everything about this place! The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back for happy hours!

   I had high hopes for STK Topanga, but overall, I left disappointed—especially with the service. To start, it felt disjointed to be asked for our reservation twice—once by the host outside and again inside. The food lacked seasoning, particularly the wagyu tacos, which had no flavor and still had whole cilantro stems. A simple chop and a bit of sauce could’ve made a big difference. A woman in a black blazer—possibly a manager—approached us without a greeting and asked the same question twice in a way that felt abrupt, if not a bit rude. Across the board, the staff seemed overwhelmed and not in sync. Our server made an effort but missed some basics, like refilling drinks without being prompted. It felt like the staff is being coached to be social, but the execution came off as more performative than attentive. My husband and I visited during Happy Hour on a Sunday, and we’re thankful we didn’t come for a full date night—it just didn’t meet the standard you’d expect for the price point. If we return, it’ll likely be to sit at the bar where the experience might be more casual and manageable

   The food is very over priced but the sides are are exceptional and a great vibe. I would go more often if the steaks were not 112 for 16 oz and 12 per shrimp.

   I was expecting a steakhouse experience and was disappointed. There was no dress code. There were men in t shirts and baseball caps in the dining room, kids with iPads, women in sweats. The staff seemed very frazzled. At one point a server came over and asked if we could give our wine menu to another table. The food was very expensive and was just okay.

   Camille, our server was very attentive and great. We started with a happy hour drink, which was delicious, and then enjoyed the Steak Night menu. It comes with an appetizer, entrée, side, and a dessert with a bottle of wine for $69 per person! The food was excellent. We will definitely be back.

   Ciara was our server, she was excellent. She checked on us frequently make sure we were well taken care of. Made some great recommendations for cocktails and food. Loved the vibe, the music was good, the food was delicious and the entire team was energetic and fun.

   Music was too loud, service slow, and food not worth the price. Definitely will not be back.

    Overcompensated trying to create a mix between a club and dinner venue, and it fell flat. Played loud, obnoxious 2000s-era club music and killed the ambiance. Poor choice of DJ. Food was just okay. Plates were not hot, even though we asked them to be. The steak was medium temp, but all servers were polite and on top of it. Not the experience we were looking for from STK, and we’ve been to many of them from Vegas to Arizona, etc. Spent the same as we would at Mastro’s and didn’t expect In Da Club to be blasting over the speakers all dinner. You can do better.
