Had reservation for 7 and they did not honor. Said outside was bought out at last minute but would have room for their regulars. Have eaten there many times but will never go back. Better options nearby. Need better manager.

For my first time there, STK rooftop is a 10/10. Beautiful space. Friendly and inviting staff. The food… I’m not a big steak person but the steakhouse skirt had to be one of the best steaks I’ve ever had with a chimchurri sauce I was eating by itself. The watermelon drink is award winning for a reason. I can’t wait to make my next visit here!

The overall value proposition is not worth the price of the cuisine. It is way overrated and expensive, even by New York standards. Side dishes are outrageous costs added to an already overpriced base plate menu. This may be a roof top restaurant but it is nothing overly special for a view. The waiter was inattentive and meal service was slow. This was a Monday evening so no explanation for poor, slow service. When asked to leave a tip lower then their suggested minimum % waiter said they can’t adjust to below their minimum; we thought that was a total scam in that regard. We will not return.

We came for my daughters birthday. We booked the rooftop because it was June 1 in NYC AND WHY NOT?! when we got there, the rooftop was like being in a casual McDonald’s. No ambiance besides music and I have dined in many STK’s. My daughter and her friend were all dressed up and people up there were in sweatpants. I asked to be moved downstairs because I was so upset. We then moved down to the signature white booths, beautiful lighting and amazing service. I think if you are going g to have a roof deck, make it match the ambiance and level of fabulous to the rest of the restaurant. It was like a different world. After we moved down, we were all happy and the food and service was outstanding!

Spent my 33rd birthday here with two friends. The weather in nyc has been iffy so I know the rooftop will be even more upbeat in the coming weeks. But the service made up for the vibe decided by Mother Nature. The drinks were refreshing and perfectly sweet. We of course loved our steak but a surprise hit was the French fries! The best balance of flavor and crisp. We went for the brunch and can’t wait to try the dinner we keep hearing about.

The staff was very accommodating with seating selection as we asked to be moved from our original seats. Only negative was the initial wait time from our server for taking our order and us receiving our drinks. The food was excellent and well portioned. Beautiful ambience and decor.

Came here for my birthday and the service could have been much better for this type of establishment. Our Server was nice, but lacked customer service and attentiveness. Checked in on us only once while he passed by a few times. We waited about 20 minutes for the check and had to request the check twice while waiting on the rooftop as the night got colder. When the server was made aware of the wait time, he didnt offer an apology. For a Monday night, the place wasn’t busy at all.
