Waited 45 minutes after offering to get our soft drinks and just over an hour for our food.waiter told us food would be “right up” after 40 minutes and then vanished. No offer to compensate, coffee, anything. Very poor.
So i want to say first and foremost our server HANNA was amazing. The lil brgs were delicious but everything else was disgusting. The lamb wasn’t appealing or appetizing. Nothing had seasoning!!!!!The asparagus came out cold as ice,the replaced it with a little less then lukewarm one. We informed the manager he said sorry alot of times and blamed it the fathers day crowd. We will never return back to this location
The wait staff assigned to us were lovely, but when we first walked in to check in my father (on father's day 6/20/21) was met with someone who very rudely told him to go somewhere else for help. It seemed that the front desk staff was frazzled by high volume of customers but the attitude was not necessary. Once I got to the front desk to check in, it seemed that the young lady there got herself together and swiftly checked us in (although she seemed annoyed by her co-worker that kept asking her questions). In the end our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious, but I really expected the evening to go south after the rather chaotic reception.
I loved the food and the staff was amazing! The music was being catered to their customers at the time but was not for me.
This was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They messed up our order and still charged us for the food we didn’t receive . The server wasn’t attentive and she forgot to bring us our drinks when we asked. The lobster was over cook. The table was wobbly . It was over all a horrible experience!

Took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food. We ordered at 10:40 AM for Brunch and got our food at 11:55 AM. And we were the third table seated at the restaurant. They were super slow. Our reservation was at 10:15 AM. The server was great along with the food. But waiting for over an hour gave the whole experience a sour taste. Management checked In with us, I told him about the wait and he did nothing not even an apology. Just a let me check. Lost me as a loyal customer. I’m sure I’ll be back to this brand, but it will be a while before I return. Clearly at this price point they don’t care if they lose a party of 9
Arrived at 10:20 am, we were the 3rd table to be seated, it took over 1hour and 45 minutes to get our food, the waiter was kind enough to apologize for the wait, a bus boy said it was because they we’re getting ready for Father’s Day prepping, I’m sitting there thinking that I’m there to celebrate Father’s Day and have a good brunch but I have to pay the price because they we’re preparing for dinner. The manager finally shows up towards the end when our food wasn’t there yet and didn’t even apologize for the long wait, all he said was let me go check on your order and that was that. It’s not like the restaurant was busy because like I said we were the 3 rd table there. At least some of the food was good but not worth running late to other places because a restaurant that you had a reservation to took for ever to bring our your food.

Our food took over an hour to arrive. We were told by manager that the wait was due to the fact we were not finish eating our appetizers, which did not make sense to me. As soon as I questioned the long wait time for our food it magically appeared. Then addition to that it was serve warmed/cold. This indicates that the food was done, and was just sitting under a heat lamp. Lastly, the waitress attempted to give herself a tip by utilizing the card machine without my approval while I was at the table reviewing our bill.
This restaurant maybe a hit or miss. Dine at your own risk.
The entire meal was great! Food was fantastic. However, we had to wait for 20-30 minutes outside even though we had a reservation.
STK midtown does not disappoint. They are consistent with great service and excellent food. The ambiance is vibrant. A live DJ plays excellent choice of easy - upbeat songs. You feel like you are in a party, yet you can enjoy the conversation and the company that you are with.
After sending my steak back twice, it finally came back correct. Not sure how you mess up a 6 Oz filet medium... Our server never returned to the table. Someone else had to finish serving us.
Service was mediocre. Steak was over cooked. This was the most we spent on dinner all weekend while visiting NYC and it was by far the worst food/experience this trip. Extremely dissatisfied and will never go back/recommend to anyone else.
Food was great from drinks to dessert and our server was great, the service was just a little slow but that could be due to COVID.
It's close to Bryant Park, and Times Sq., so It's a good place to stop by before or after a meal. also, the Food is a great and friendly staff there.
Although I’ve never had a problem with STK in other cities, the overall experience was less than desirable this time.
The staff was fairly inattentive until I brought it to their attention.
They got my drink order wrong twice, then overcooked my steak—all of which inevitably changed my mood about the entire experience.
The team was overly apologetic, but it was quite frustrating to endure.
I hope it was just a bad night.

Interior decor is beautiful. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Had to send back lobster linguini as it came with four tiny pieces of lobster for $50. $16 French fries are wildly overpriced. Overall, much better experience at Meatpacking location.

Excellent and delicious food
It was too expensive — ridiculously so. The food was fine but disappointing. I took 5 clients there and I was really disappointed. My favorite dish there — the steak salad — is no longer on the menu despite the fact that they offer both steak and salads separately. Skip this place: it is nothing special but outrageously expensive.
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and could not be more pleased with the environment, the food, and especially our waiter Les #LesisMore! We'll definitely go back.
Service was awful. They didn’t even have menus to give us. Seafood platter was not fresh. Asked for medium rare steak, but received well done (restaurant agreed and waived charge).
Food was good. my bf and i ordered the same steak the same way and mine was raw but i instantly got a new steak & it was cooked perfectly. unfortunately our waitress wasnt really paying us any mind the whole time. Also the music was amazing!!!
We went to celebrate a birthday there. We sat outside. The service was extremely slow. The drinks are so overpriced. They charged the kids $9 each for a Shirley Temple. A glass of wine was $22 (the cheapest). The food is good, not great, and not worth the steep bill.

Apparently because of insufficient wait staff, we had to wait 30 minutes to place our order and almost another 30 minutes before our lunch arrived.
We waited for one hour before the food came. No follow through service. I asked for salt. It never came. I hope they can improve
I had intended to split the bill with my friend. She charged his card half the amount and then my card the full amount. She said the manager was unavailable to cancel the charge on my card and said she would fix it later and asked for a tip. I ended up giving a 25% tip. When I got back to work I was looking at the bill and noticed that she added a charge for Fiji water which we didn’t have. I went back to get the charges adjusted. They removed the $9 fee for Fiji water and didn’t give an option to adjust the tip. We ultimately tipped 32% for poor service
