Great evening under the circumstances with the covid19 situation. Ariel, our server, was professional, helpful with the menu and personable. The drinks, appetizers, and main courses were fabulous! Then came the desserts! Excellent is the only way to describe them. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening. My only gripe was that I thought, IMO, the music was a bit too loud. But, nonetheless, we will definitely be back. Maybe at the roof top location in the village.
The food lacked flavor, I was surprised and expected more; also wasn’t hot enough.
Enjoyed a nice birthday dinner on 3.12 when news began to break about the seriousness of the coronavirus... but everyone in place made sure it was an oasis from the chaos. Service was attentive, food was expectedly delicious and music had the place vibing. Thanks for being a staple in city!
Very expensive, but you expect that in NYC. The food was great. Not so much on the desserts. We ordered the Key Lime Cheesecake "FOR TWO"..... Well, it was good but was just a regular sized piece of cake. Truly not sure why they'd call it that.
Also, the place was empty as our reservation was early (5:45). We were finishing up our drinks and they sat a couple right next to us! It's a huge place with many tables, why would you seat them right next to us??? We could hear each others' conversations!!
Just didn't make sense!
YEAH .... AWESOME ....AWESOME ....AWESOME From the APP's to the bread to the steaks and side's to dessert all the way around awesome sauce if you love a steakhouse i'd recommend this one 100 out of 100 for sure enjoy !!!!
Great service and great food. It was expensive but your paying for the experience .
Amazing food, great service.
Drinks: Most drinks were as expected, drink Mambo #4 was in a tiny serving glass with much less drink for your money. The ingredients were not high end. I would avoid that drink unless they give a larger size. I am a physician so I know my sizes and this drink just doesn't appear to be less fluid than other drinks.
Food: Tuna Tartar, tuna was not fresh! And it was over-run with soy or other sauce. Kale Salad had a very good dressing, but otherwise was mostly just Kale, so the taste was good with little other substance. Dessert was an overcooked chocolate chip cookie with less than generous scoop of vanilla ice cream. But ultimately, the reason for the very low rating was the entrée. We order a porterhouse to share (for 2.) Price was as expected or less than expected for a "higher end" steakhouse at 110. I have been to most steakhouses in Manhattan multiple times. This was by far the worst experience. It was ordered medium plus. So a little more than mediuim, I was assured this can be done. When it came to the table, it looked normal. I took a bite and immediately didn't like it, I wasn't sure why. It was like eating sashimi. I couldn't figure out why. I took another piece and felt the same way. Then it hit me, the steak was not even warm. I immediately notified the server, he didn't apologize and told me he can warm it up. A few minutes later, it came back a little browned and still not warm, but at least not cold as it was. I didn't complain any more. I discussed this with the people at the table next to me and they told me the table adjacent to them had the same problem. I was told my food will come back with more mushroom sides which we were eating so that I have sides left when entrée comes back, but instead the brought back the cheaper and lower cost for them mac and cheese side. I felt like I was robbed by the whole experience. You should expect a warm and even a steak that sizzles when you receive it. Décor depends on location in store.
Our waiter was just amazing!!!’
It was my husbands birthday. The food was amazing! I just wish yall could have hung happy birthday but apparently I was told yall do not do that there. Otherwise it was fine
One of the best dinner experiences I’ve had in NYC in a while
It was perfect we ate, we talk, and relax.
Amazing food. Delmonico steak was the winner. Great drinks and Jermaine was the best server.
Our waitress was nothing short of wonderful! She was sweet, cheerful, pleasant, and very attentive. Our busboy/water server the same! The food was delicious! Loved the faro/quinoa salad!!! My only complaint was the hostess. My friend and I had gotten there first. She had already. Ejected in our coats and was about to seat us, but then a gentleman came in saying he was there to meet someone for lunch. She then proceeded to take the man to his table and left us at the reception desk. Another employee saw what she did and apologized and then seated us. The original hostess was very rude and should be trained. That is why I have the overall experience 4 stars.
Great meal wonderful service.
Came here as part of my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations and left disappointed... arrived and were seated promptly... restaurant had a good ambience but was very cold so wasn’t comfortable from the start... regardless starters were ordered which were the scallops and bacon for me and crispy calamari for my wife. Mine was awful... tasteless overcooked scallops with what can only be described as a dry 1 inch thick piece of ham hock ... very poor. My wife’s calamari faired a little better but squid was chewy and the sauce not very tasty. Onto the the main and this was better. I had 16oz and wife had the 10oz fillet both cooked well and seasoned well. Unfortunately both come alacarte which meant sides had to be ordered separate. I went for creamed spinach and the exotic mushrooms. The spinach was nice but the mushrooms awful and greasy. We enjoyed our steaks with a glass of the only Malbec on offer but even this wasn’t very nice which was a shame. We decided to skip desert altogether but was still presented with a bill of just under $400 including our tip !! Disappointed and highly unlikely I would ever go back

The food was terrific, and the drinks were even better. My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time.
For my first date, it was amazing everything and everyone was great. Love it
Nice atmosphere, all employees were attentive & made us feel welcomed.
We came over from the UK to celebrate a birthday and my best friend was presented with a happy birthday chocolate plaque and candle with her dessert which made it special.
The drinks were also lovely.
Bathrooms were flooded and overflowing all over the floor. Mens has attendant but women’s did not. Even with a reservation we had a 30 minute wait. Food really good but hostess snobby and dismissive. Very noisy. Fun on weekend. Diverse crowd. Amazing drinks.
I completely understand your frustration and would love the opportunity to speak with you further to help address this matter. What is the best way to contact you? Best Regards, Justin Holmes Manager
