Great restaurant, super trendy, live DJ and saxophonist was a cool surprise!

Nice place could've been better. Had a reservation and didn't get seated for 45 min. Food was ok could've been better. Would've had better food and service at Ruth Chris. More than likely a one time thing.

We came in at around 3:30 for lunch. There wasn’t anyone in there so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was my husbands birthday and when I booked on open table I made sure to tell STK in the comments. They surprised him with ice cream and a candle. It was the first restaurant that actually catered to that while I booked on open table so I was extremely happy. The food was amazing and worth the price for sure! I would definitely come back!

The food was tasty, but the service was lacking and I was looking for more of a romantic steak night out, but this felt more like a club with a DJ then a dining experience.

Unglaublich teuer, kaum Service, abgenutztes Mobiliar, Steaks waren lecker, hatten aber auch nicht im Rohzustand das annoncierte Gewicht und das bei Preisen von 69$ für umgerechnet knapp 450 g. Flasche Corona 9$. Da gibt es wesentlich bessere Restaurants...

The food was delicious, the service was amazing. The staff was kind and accommodating, they were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to explain the food and drinks. Definitely would come back and have recommended friends and family to visit.

I love this place. The menu is diverse and there is something for everyone. Great quality food and excellent service. They play great music and on weekends there is actually a DJ. Great vibe in the place. It is not inexpensive but I love going there.

Food was awesome although my 6oz. Filet was closer to 3oz.
Service was great especially considering it was NYC where service is usually very poor. The ambience was not to my liking… Euro trash disco music playing a little bit too loud. I did like the fact that there were no TVs mounted all over the place distract one from one’s dinner guest. The price point is extremely high. I could’ve gotten food and service that were just as good for about half the price.

We were sat at a table in the way back, in function type room with uncomfortable chairs and black walls. Not in main restaurant area. Didn’t realize I had to specifically request to be seated IN THE RESTAURANT?! Food is also overpriced.

From our welcome to our dessert. Everyone and ever delicious morsel of our meal was perfect. Or as we said last night Selah!!!

Overall my experience was great. I was disappointed that the octopus tasted burnt. But other then that my food was great.

Never going here for restaurant week again. They stuck us in a back corner away from the central ambiance. Service was terrible, I barely got a nod for my birthday. The steak was severely undercooked even though I said medium well. The cookie dessert was hard and barely edible.

We initially went for restaurant week but upon being seated we decided to order off the regular menu. We ordered wagyu beef burgers to start, however they were brought with our dinner because they were forgotten about. Fortunately, they were delicious. I ordered the flat iron wagyu and my husband ordered a filet mignon. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, but my husbands lacked enough flavor. Our sides, Mac and cheese and asparagus, were very good. The Mac and cheese was probably top three best Mac and cheese. Everything came out in a timely manner, until we asked to see the dessert menu which never came. The waitress passed us and said, “you didn’t want to see the dessert menu right?” At that point we told her no and to just give us the check. Overall I would recommend this place, maybe not during restaurant week though.

Waiter was terrible. He didn’t attend to us even when he heard us calling him. When I asked him questions he answered sarcastically. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Had made a date with my wife during Restaurant week to enjoy a New York steak at a reasonable price. We had many other choices but decided on STK. While the receptionist and waiter were pleasant, the Restaurant week food selection menu was quite poor and the food fair and the value low. The main dushes on the menu for the package was a burger or crispy sandwich and s couple of other dishes but no steak unless wanted to pay 30 dollars more. Burger and sandwich were ordinary. Had better at my local diner for third of price. Needkess to say, we were disappointed and felt hoodwinked by restaurant week ad.

We arrived 20 minutes earlier, but we seat 20 minutes after time.

Service was excellent from the moment we stepped into the restaurant till the end. The ravioli and the tartare we had for appetizers were really good, but the kitchen burnt our steaks on one side and tried hiding it by putting the burnt side on the bottom. We expected more from the food since we frequent the south beach location often

Had an amazing time for restaurant week. The food was delicious ambiance and service was great.

I was pretty amazed by the decor and especially the live DJ our server adrianne was very courteous, attentive and professional.

Not our first time at STK and won’t be our last. Great food.

Overall it was alright. The food was good, the waiter was nice and the host was nice. The girl working at the bar was VERY rude. Also our reservation was at 7 but we got seated at 7:20. Which is kind of a long wait but I can overlook that. But I was more upset than I should’ve been because the girl at the bar was rude. What was also disappointing was that while the food was good, my potatoes that came with it were cold. I didn’t ask them to remake it because by the time my steak and potatoes came I was very hungry and I just couldn’t have waited for them to make it over.

Very underwhelming restaurant week lunch special. Food was just ok, with 3 out of 5 items on the menu having significant supplement fees ($25/$35). Dessert was “to go”, to ensure you don’t spend a minute more than necessary to occupy the table. Why bother participating in restaurant week if you can’t handle the menu...

Went to a much fancier restaurant that same day for restaurant week dinner special and the menu was incredible. So when restaurants truly want to make it a special experience for restaurant week, they do. STK - Midtown, however...

Great burger and tuna tartare

Came here for restaurant week. I had a reservation at 8:30 and we checked in at 8pm and were told they were right on time and we should be seated at 8:30. We weren’t seated until 9pm. I was so excited because the menu looked amazing - they had a chopped salad with hearts of palm, goat feta and a lemon dressing. We got the flimsiest salad and there were the thinnest 3 pieces of hearts of palms I put it to the side so I could show the server after I FINALLY flagged her down she said she would tell the manager. The manager came over and I explained how disappointed I was and she apologized. The Branzino was decent. And of course they were out of one of the desserts, but the substitute was good. They comp’d us Prosecco with dessert for our trouble, but still we ended up paying for that crappy salad. This place was overrated for the price - even for restaurant week.

Service was manipulative and took advantage thinking we had never been to the restaurant before by trying to charge us for items we did not order and also had to wait an hour to be seated.

So my fiancés birthday celebration was awesome but a little disappointing as to where we were placed in a area I personally didn’t want to be seated, our reservations were for 8pm and I requested something special be done... we arrived 30mins early and was seated 40mins after our reservation time. That being said I wanted a both were it would be a bit more close and personal and was seated in another seating than was requested. Had it not been for Dennis I would have left as I was highly upset about seating and how the seats had been arranged!!! Music was great food was awesome and ambiance was also great

Went during NYC restaurant week. First time at this location and it was excellent. Food, service, ambience all excellent.

The service was great. However, the two young hostess’ that greeted us and took my coat really stood out to me Janne and Nia were professional, accommodating and very sweet they were both upbeat and even when I was leaving they still had smiles planted on their faces.
