STK is a go to for celebrating a special event. Been a long time patron for some time. My recent experience was a bit skewed due to covid. Although this is a top tier spot, it seems as the portions have shrunken and the cost has gone up. Not sure if restaurants are trying to recoup some loss from the pandemic but the quality to cost isnt equalling. But STK is still great food and great times.
Our reservation was for 7:45pm and we were seated at 8:25. Our table was able to seat 5 and we were only 2 people. Overall it was disappointing to sit on the street at a huge table.

Treated my sister to a birthday dinner with friends and we had an amazing time. There was a small issue with our lobster not being cooked all the way but the waiter quickly resolved the issue.
I’ve eaten at STK before many times and the menu prices post-covid TRIPLED. The Caesar salad was $20.00, a 7 ounce Filet was $60, and while I’m ok to spend money on a great dinner, I like to do it within reason. Our bill was $265 for only two ppl and two drinks. Not returning until prices drop.
It was great. Especially in this new normal during the pandemic.

Birthday dinner, the food was good. They were a little too busy for us, the waitress was doing so many tables at once..
Booked for 7:45 and had to wait over an hour to be seated. The manager was nice and offered us a complimentary beverage. But overall the experience was mediocre for the amount of money we spent. The Mac and cheese we didn’t touch because it was t good and it was left on the bill.

Steak was good, but undercooked, server came to check when we were almost done. I thought it was a more high class place, but got it wrong. Very poor management.
I went for my birthday dinner. just my boyfriend and I & unfortunately this restaurant is extremely overhyped. we went and the fire alarm was going off during our entire dinner. the waiter just acted like nothing was going on the few times he actually came to our table. overall it just was a huge disappointment.
Arrived and was told to wait while table was getting ready went in and the place was empty. I get it - need to build the hype. Had reservations on the roof which we switched to indoor due to a chance of rain. We were taken to the third floor which we assumed was rented out for parties before covid. It was bleak, pretty poorly situated, and decorated to a bare minimum. If you are going to do indoor dining during covid you’ll want some ambiance. Was very tempted to leave and have a go there another time but we stayed. I literally live around the corner and my boyfriend had wanted to try this place for the longest time. Sadly was not impressed and we won’t be back again. If we were tourists and we were placed on the third floor it would be one thing because you spend the money and you don’t expect they’ll be back but we live here and my boyfriend is from the UK so were it better we might’ve been back and shared the experience with others. Alas that was not the case. Food was decent but not spectacular. The lobster was incredibly tender. Our waitress Nathany was a bright spot to the bleak setting. She was authentic and didn’t steer us in the wrong direction. Very helpful and professional.
We had an amazing evening. Service was phenomenal and food was even better. We can’t wait to go back.
Luke our server was absolutely terrific. He was juggling a ton of tables and still was incredibly attentive and personable. We loved it!
When we checked in, we had to wait a while for our table. It’s understandable as it was a Friday night. Thank goodness it was a beautiful evening out. We were there celebrating our good friends birthday and it was all our first time at STK. When we did get seated, the social distancing was very well maintained on the third floor. The ambiance was very nicely lit, intimate and cozy. The music was an eclectic mix of past and present while being able to maintain a conversation amongst friends.
Our server, Messiah was THE BEST! She made our whole experience from beginning to end superb. The drinks were delish and they didn’t skimp one the alcohol. The seafood platter was very fresh. As for our mains, we got the N.Y. Strip and Wagyu which were cooked rare and med rare as requested. The service and a wonderful birthday surprise from the manager and the staff made up for a slight hiccup. Mistakes happen, no one is perfect.
Most importantly is that we were happy and are new returning customers. We will most definitely recommend and be back! Thank you STK Meatpacking!
Best service I’ve received in a restaurant in NY! I definitely recommend! I don’t even eat meat or seafood and with limited full vegetarian dishes I would pick this place over many others! Service is amazing
Our server was cold and uninterested in working. We were told we had 1.5 hours to enjoy our dinner and at the 1 hour mark they tried to take our food off the table even though we were not done eating. Lastly, our knives were so dull -unexpected for a "steakhouse". Will never waste $300 here again.
My waiter was amazing, my food was amazing, my drink was amazing. Overall a 10/10 meal and experience. 100% going back.

STK is one of the most exciting and upscale places in NYC. The food and drinks are amazing, service is top-notch, with a very energetic vibe and scene. It is definitely the place to be!
Now with indoor dining available they are taking all necessary precautions to keep people safe during these COVID-19 times. Despite all that going on, the atmosphere at STK makes you feel like things are normal again!

Food was over cooked for many people at the table, the lobster Mac& cheese
was watery. The Server never even gave the table napkins had to ask , was my birthday barely felt special. Overall I should of went back to the other stk
Food was terrible. The surf and turf is a no go. The lobster tail was terrible old and frozen. The filet mignon was rubber like a hockey puck. Mashed potatoes were instant. Manager didnt even care. Made ridiculous excuses. Never going again.
The food was mediocre and expensive.
Terrible experience. Not ready for indoor dinning. Hostess were overwhelmed and rude. Table promised and reserved was not available sat me in a banquet style room completely unacceptable. Management did not care. Very disappointing experience all around
Let’s start with the fact that it took 20 mins to get our first drink. We then order 2 apps that took forever.....had to ask for water 3 times. Then the waitress pressured us to put our entrees in which came out before we were done with our appetizers. Nothing short of annoying. We were more than disappointed and asked the manager to come over. She came over with a bunch of lame excuses and then said she would come back with some sort of solution to remedy our poor experience. We finished our dinner and asked for the check. The manager never returned and neither will we. Worst dining experience ever. Never again and the manager was a coward.
STK made my weekend AMAZING!! Special thanks to my waitress, Erica, for making my night something to remember. From the food, and the service, and the dj’s excellent choice of music, STK made my boyfriend’s birthday one he’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone there for their excellent service
It was a nice experience but the taste of the food was not what I expected. My medium well cowgirl steak was not juicy as a matter of fact a bit dry. I paired my steak with the jalapeño grits which was salty
Made a party of 10 and 6 wait for 50 minutes before seating us when we had a reservation. “Downstairs level dining room” is a club where they sloppily set up 3 big tables and wouldn’t agree to sit us next to each other til one opened up. Food is over priced for what it is server barely checked on us until “last call” and didn’t even let me order my drink. After making us wait 50 minutes they rushed us to order cause they can’t serve after 12. It was my friends 21st birthday and they wouldn’t sing or serve anything for her birthday because they make us wait so long to get our food That they didn’t have time and a bouncer LITERALLT CAME TO OUR TABLE AND KICKED US OUT AT 12:01 once again after we were made to wait an hour outside standing after our reservation offering us no compensation
