Decent experience but nothing to write home about. To begin, the music is very loud and energetic - gives off a clubby vibe so if you’re hoping to catch up/chat over a meal it’s hard to hear each other. The food was tasty, felt like the waiter was trying to upsell us and eventually rush us out and wasn’t very attentive so that wasn’t enjoyable. His mask also kept slipping under his nose which he kept pulling up which was not very sanitary. Enjoyed the food, the noise level (for a Sunday) and service not so much. For the price I wouldn’t say it was worth it.
Excellent service! Our server was Nick Saturday night. He was super attentive, knowledgeable and also has a great personality. Food was AMAZING! Definitely coming back for sure!
Nina was the best waitress ever!! She gave us some great recommendations and was overall caring. The food was amazing like always and they played great urban music with some old school too. It gave a great vibe and I couldn’t complain. I had the salmon with the truffle fries, and it was to die for!!! Definitely will be going back next weekend.

First time going to indoor dining this winter during the pandemic. Was great to be out at a restaurant again. The DJ played great music, and Tiffany was a great waitress.

it was my birthday. don’t recommend for birthdays because they don’t sing and only did one little candle but the dinner and restaurant wrre amazing
My man and I enjoyed Valentine’s Day at STK last weekend and thought to head back tonight. And boy, did we do that for a good reason. It was good on Valentine’s Day and even better today. We started by our server Joey just being amazing. He was the epitome of professional, informative and pleasant. He informed of us of the menu, the drinks and even suggested some things he thought would be good. Alex was another light in the room. She suggested the Strawberry Cobbler and it was very good. Only negative was that we did wait over an hour for our entrees. We got sat pretty quickly and received our oysters and drinks fairly quickly and had to wait over an hour for our entrees. Other patrons got their food before us so that was a bit worrisome but when we received our food, it was all perfect. My filet melted, my lobster was fresh, mash potatoes were whipped to perfect, my mans salmon was melting in his mouth. It was amazing. Joey made it that much better. The employees, ambiance and food help make STK what it is. It clear that time and thought goes into every single piece of STK. can’t wait to come back! ask for Joey!
Great place great food in a beautiful area and peaceful environment
Anastasia was our waiter today. I had an amazing time with my friend and baby on the rooftop in the igloo. It was very comfortable and warm. Anastasia was very kind and quick at serving us. She added a special touch of surprising my daughter with a birthday surprise. Thank you so much for the amazing brunch.
STK Downtown has officially became one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The service was incredible. Our waiter Eduard was super friendly, charismatic and overall an attentive server. The food was heavenly. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again. Shout out to the DJ, she did her thing.
First time here and enjoyed it very much. Our server made our night here wonderful. Took very good care of us. Would definitely come back here again.

Drinks need to be beefed up. 2 oz vodka in a $24 martini was a little disappointing. 4 oz wine pour for $19 for a $9 bottle of wine. $310 for myself and 15 year old son seemed a little ridiculous. That being said the food was amazing. (App. Shared large steak 3 sides 2 glasses of wine a martini and 2 gingerale)

Korine was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! Always checked on us to make sure we were good. Her suggestions were on point and she made our first pandemic dining experience incredible!

This is one of my fav spots to eat at but this time around with the laws changing and what, the waiting time was horrible I had reservations paid for at 8:45 and didn't get seated until 10:30 and all they said was sorry and Happy Valentine's Day .
I feel like the creamy corn wasn't how it normally is. It's wasn't the same . I had to return my lobster tail to get a bit more cooked it was undercooked idk I just feel like everything was rushed.
I think this could of been dealt with differently.
Horrible! Had to stand outside for 2hrs with having a reservation smh, then after being seated with the food! Waiter comes & asks for reservation confirmation number, for a down payment we put during the reservation. Never in my life have that ever happen to me. I won’t be back here for a long time!! Made us wait 2 hours outside despite getting to reservation on time. Completely ridiculous experience from such a high quality restaurant.
This was the worse dining experience I’ve ever endured. I say endured because that’s exactly what STK made their pre paid customers with reservations do . We had to endure the cold weather for 2 hrs plus due to their over booking of tables for no other reason than greed..... I paid $100 PP for an 8:45pm reservation to only be placed on a line that stretched down the block with hundreds of ppl (no exaggeration) for 2hr 15 min in 20 degree weather... The only refund they offered for those who chose not to wait was money on a gift card... Upon finally being escorted to my table which was in a basement with a tacky makeshift dining room which I can tell used to be a dive bar I discover the seating was too low for the table and uncomfortable, Drinks were watered down, the steak was overcooked and resembled a hamburger patty, to top it off we were rushed and given our bill after only 30 min of dining... Prior to V day this was one of my favorite restaurants in meat packing district but now I doubt I’ll ever return again.
I would never come back to this STK ever again. I had reservations at 8:30 and I got there at 8:20 to a line that was down the block which I had to join although I had reservations. I had to wait outside in the cold for two whole hours !!!!! Everyone with reservations had to wait outside because they were over booked! I had paid $100
Deposit and if I didn’t want to wait on the line for two hours and wanted a refund I was told I had to contact Corporate like excuse me ?!
Then when we was FINALLY seated they was rushing me & my boyfriend, told us we couldn’t order no dessert because they was closing soon! This was a horrible experience! I always come to STK in NYC & in LA but I would no longer go to any STK.
They was so disorganized, they didn’t give a complementary drink for the long wait or anything!!!! Just horrible !!!!!
On Valentine’s Day with a reservation for 8:30. I arrived at 8:10. I waited 2.5 hours to be seated in a line to the end of the block with lack of organization. After traveling from California to be standing in the cold in an dress and heels in 19 degrees. They had my non refundable deposit of 200.00 so we couldn’t even leave. Travel, lodging for Valentine’s experience to go sour due to their service was remarkable. We were finally seated after 2.5 hours and had only 20 min to eat before closing. They said order your appetizer, entree and dessert now because it will all be brought our together. After not eating my food because there wasn’t time they had nerve to bring out a bill overcharging me 100.00. This was disgusting and I have never been this mistreated.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. Overall horrible. Would not recommend to anyone. Reservation for 830 did not get seated until 11:05. Was rushed to order all my food DIDNT even get a chance to eat. The bill arrived before the food did. Horrible service. Horrible experience horrible management overbooked for 3 hours had over 90 people waiting outside in the cold. This place violated all rules and regulations of fine dining establishments and does not deserve to even be in business.
I made a reservation and still waited two hours in a line outside because they overbooked. Highly upset and would not recommend.

The worst experience I’ve ever had on Valentine’s day I almost froze to death outside after waiting over a hour past my reservation and the inside was cold had to leave my jacket on the whole time
We had an 8:00 pm reservation and they made us stand in a “reservation line” for an hour before getting to the hostess stand. Then waited another 20 min to be seated. If we didn’t put down a $200 deposit, we would have left. Can you imagine if we showed up 80 min late to a reservation...they would have told us to get lost. The food was terrible....porterhouse came out cold and cooked poorly, lobster Mac n cheese was tough, spinach was undercooked, and the specialty cocktails were pre-made! The only redeeming quality about this place was our server, Alejandra - she was so sweet. The fire alarm also started going off mid meal because people outside were sick of waiting and kept pulling it. Never againn
Not well managed at all! Made a reservation for V-day for 8pm. Upon arriving we were told we have to wait in a series of lines, 3 lines to be specific, before even stepping into the restaurant. The first line was to “check in” and it went down & around the block—the wait for that line was 45 minutes. Then once you give your name you wait in another line (wait approx. 20 more minutes) for a “clicker” and then you wait for it to buzz. THEN, after it finally buzzes you go to the THIRD LINE to give in your clicker and have someone seat you. In total I waited an hour and 45 minutes for my RESERVED TABLE. Arrived at 7:45 did not get seated until 9:45. Not to mention the freezing cold weather. On top of that we were sat next to a blaring speaker and couldn’t even hear my date. The food was subpar and over priced for the quality in my opinion. Will not be returning. Will definitely try out Catch Steak in the same area I heard they are much better!!
Update: The management team has contacted me and wished to extend us the opportunity of making it right. Which we have accepted thanks STK.
Most horrible pre-experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant had to wait in the cold 1.5 hours after our reservation time. However, once inside the food and service was superb.
STK overbooked. No point in leaving a $1,000 deposit if I still had to wait 30 min in the cold. My table didn’t have lights. The food was basic, something I could’ve cooked at home but would’ve made it better. It was a party of 10 & they sat us at a small table. The waitress was nice though.
I came there for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend it was a nightmare literally. We had reservations at 7pm we didn’t sit down till 8:30pm. The worse part about the whole experience was having to wait and make a line outside for an hour and a half. When we finally got to the front of the line we had to make another line it was never ending but it gets worse. Once we finally got sat down we had to order apps and dinner and our dinner came out first. Then the fire alarm went off shortly after. I love stk I normally go to the midtown one but it was all booked up, coming here was the worst thing I ever did!!!!

The worst dining experience ever. Had to wait in the cold for one hour before being admitted. Food was sub-par, the steak was chewy and the chocolate fondant dessert cold. They clearly overbooked and didn't even take the time to acknowledge the wait. They couldn't have care less. The only reason we stayed on line, which was not social distanced at all with some patrons not wearing their masks, was because they charged a $200 deposit. If the food had been superb or at least decent they would get a pass but this was just wrong and I will never step a foot again in any STK. My date apologized for suggesting such a bad recommendation.
Absolutely horrible. A 2 hour wait in line in the freezing cold on Valentine’s Day just to find out we were STILL sitting outside. Food was ridiculously overpriced and the staff treated everyone horribly. What a waste, STK ruined Valentine’s Day.
The food and the waitress were good. What wasnt very nice is the very long line you waited on in the cold despite having a reservation. There were people who had reservations before me who were farther back in line. Very disorganized. You had no idea who was going where. That was not very cool STK. we may think again before going back
HORRIBLE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My partner and I had to wait 1 hour and a half just to be seated with for our 7:00 reservation. None of the employees had legit answers. Every employee was extremely unprofessional. Save your money! Go to Del Friscos or Capital Grille!
