About STK – Miami Beach
STK artfully blends two concepts into one—the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge. A large central lounge area is furnished with creamy leather banquettes and textured crocodile tiles, and is surrounded by an elevated dining room for more formal dining. Theatrical lights illuminate each table, while a DJ creates an energetic vibe throughout the entire space. STK Miami is located in the heart of Miami Beach, bringing the pulse of New York to the rhythm of South Beach. Executive Chef Aaron Taylor mans the kitchen of the bi-level venue located in the 1 Hotel and Resorts. As anticipated, steak is the main attraction. With a female-friendly mindset, STK offers small, medium and large cuts of meat, as well as naturally raised options and market fresh fish entrees. Aside from steak, signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jumbo Lump Crab Salad.

STK – Miami Beach Ratings and Reviews
If you have never been to STK’s, you must try it.... it is a great experience. Service is exceptional and the staff does their best to make you feel welcome. They do not rush you and make you feel like you are vip. The music was R&B, but our heads was moving the whole time. Just try it. My husband and I will definitely be back..... oh yes, the bread melts in your mouth!!!!
STK is perfect for work or play, we were there to celebrate a birthday and it was the ideal setting to ring in the special occasion. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived which was no problem because it allowed us to get fabulous drinks at the lively bar, complimented by great people watching and fun music from the nearby DJ. We were quickly shown to our table and had excellent and attentive service through the evening; we started with caramelized brussels sprouts, followed by parmesan truffle fries and for dinner, the rack of lamb and filet mignon with Alaskan king crab oscar. I had mentioned ahead of time that we would be celebrating a birthday and at the end of the evening, they presented a beautiful dessert. The server set the perfect pace for the evening, attentive but not pushy, and the delicious food was beautifully presented. Never a disappointment, this should be absolutely on your list when dining in Miami.
STK Miami (South Beach) blew the Atlanta location away! I loved the swanky feel of the restaurant. The low lighting gave it this ultra sexy ambiance. The hostess led us to our table immediately upon arrival and sat us in an awesome booth. The dj kept us bouncing our toes and dancing in our seats. I was taken aback when the dancers came out! True entertainment!
We both order the Murray’s chicken. I don’t often eat my entire meal anywhere I go but I did this night. It was finger licking good. The drinks were perfectly made. I had the Pink Elegance while she had Eden’s kiss. Our waitress even brought out a mini dessert for my sister’s birthday.
I give this experience 10 stars!
Great food. Great ambiance. Hazi and Logan were the perfect team for service! Unlike most Miami Beach restaurants, STK does not add gratuity to the bill automatically and the service reflected this in a most positive way. The restaurant was cool, the service was warm and the food was fabulous. Much appreciated and we tipped beyond what they would have charged in sincere gratitude.
We just didn't have a great experience. Service wasn't great, restaurant was pretty cold, and for that price, we just expected to have a wonderful experience. We had trouble getting the waiter to pay attention to us, although a nice guy when he stopped by. Been to other STK's in NY and Vegas, and it was better.
The food was fabulous, but the service was terrible. When we arrived the hostess checked us in for our reservation and told us it would be a few minutes. While we were waiting 3 other parties checked in and were seated before us. When I approached the hostess she said the time is noted when we check in and that those parties checked in before us. I asked her to look at our check in time compared to the last three parties and she looked at me and said Oh, I am sorry. The other parties did indeed check in after us.
Our waiter was very disinterested in provided good service. He took our order and didn't check in with us once except at the end to see if we wanted dessert. No one refilled our water, we asked our waiter again for water. The restaurant was not busy.
This was our Christmas Eve dinner and very disappointing... The Filet Mignons were ordered medium and came back well done. The tastiest part were the sides. Last March you had a delightful gluten free chocolate bar but Christmas Eve, there was only sorbet. With 1 mixed drink, the total was over $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We will not be back.
Okay, we were there during Art Basel - so can't really judge the "crowd" ... was it "fun/energetic" - or just drunk "Basel" posers. The food was great but the service was weak (again Basel week). The DJ was spinning GREAT music, but again - we wanted to talk business, so it was a bit loud. Knowing what I do now - yes, for sure going to come back again and again ...
As my third experience here, I have to say a major let down. Sat at the bar. Bartenders unaware of what was going on at their bar. I had to ask for a menu, ask to order my drink (every time), ask to order an appetizer to hear one bartender talk about how gross a quail egg was right in front of me. No worriEs though, the other bartender was too busy eating her meal trying to hide it from the guests and cameras to be bothered with taking our order. You should check the tape, she rang it in as one thing then had someone walk back a manual ticket for something else because she ‘rang it in wrong for herself’. Also....calling everyone “my love” and ‘baby cakes’? Completely Not appropriate. This bartender also was handing out her personal clothing line business cards to patrons promoting herself instead of doing what you pay her for.
The barback was doing all the work for these two girls- a bow legged man but incredibly hard working and very personable. They asked him to do everything. I hope he gets 50% of their tip. I wanted to give him all of mine.
I was surprised to know my Hyatt hotel had better service at their hotel restaurant. I talked with my local contacts afterwards because I thought it may have been me, but they all agreed. Food is great , service sucks.
