Great time took way to long to get drinks food was great waiter was very nice just not very efficient with cocktails. Looked like the bar tenders were the slow point.
STK is always excellent in every way. Great food and wonderful service!
Great food! And tons of perks if you’re going to a show at the Denver Performing Arts Center.
I love the feel of STK for girls night out or a bunch of friends. Great food, the service is top notch. Definitely a club vibe. Just a good time.
The music is fun but the steak is not up to par with Perry’s or Shanahan’s and they demand the same or more $. I would go again for drinks and appetizers but not for a full steak dinner.
Good, not great. The temp on the steak was off. Charred outside (not seared) and rare to mid rare in the middle (I ordered medium). Not the kind of delivery I want in a $75 porterhouse. But, the waygu sliders were great and the server was outstanding. Ambiance-wise, this place is very "cluby" lots of bros and whatnot so I don't think I would recommend for someone looking for a romantic night out or a traditional steakhouse experience. All in all, not an unpleasant experience by any measure but I'm not sure I would return.
The food was really good. Not the best steakhouse in Denver but really good. The thing that really sealed it for me was the service. It was our anniversary and every staff person we interacted with said happy anniversary. They even brought us complimentary champagne. They made a special event as special as it could be, and I will definitely be back!
I eat in STK restaurants all over the country. I must say, the one in Denver is very disappointing. Having just eaten at the one in London, I was significantly upset. I am not quite sure why they cannot figure out the proper way to cook steaks in Denver. Maybe it’s the altitude? They also served us fries which were made in an oil that was way past its expiration.
They ran out of coffee. How does that happen? The Delmonico was just ok. Cost too much for what we got.
Great experience. Great food.
STK was an excellent experience. Really like the modern and unique ambiance. The service was excellent and the food was also top notch. A more upscale experience I would gladly to repeat.
Service was slow even though there were only a couple of table in at the time. Water was only filled 1 time. The steaks were overcooked and burnt on the outside.
The waiter killed it! I can’t remember his name, but he wore a bow tie. I was trying to impress My Girl for her Birthday. This gentleman just helped do that. It’s like he read my mind and was there for our needs. He killed it with the Wine he helped us select. Then dinner and the Birthday donuts and ice cream. That was a Hone Run for us. The coffee not expected but was perfect to a nights end.
Thank You again and we can’t wait to go back.
Terrific food, comfortable seating, wonderful atmosphere-what more could you ask for?! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at STK.
Food was fire
This is our new favorite place. You can walk to the DCPA!!!
Incredible dining experience
A more modems twist on the classic steakhouse. They are going for the younger crowd, not the old school steakhouse approach. The decor and music are not what you find at the Del Frisco’s of the world. The waitress said that on Friday a DJ would be in house, Not sure if I would want to eat steak and get blasted by a DJ. If the volume was not so loud, maybe, but if the DJ was there to make it a dance party, I would leave. Not my idea of a steak dinner.
That said, the service was good, again not traditional steakhouse as the waitress was much more social and vibrant rather than the prim and proper approach (she took a seat in our booth and sat down to discuss the menu). I liked it. The food was very good. The steak cooked as I ordered. One of the guests commented their steak had a little more pepper than he likes, but a good steak. We did not have desert.
Would I return? On a night the DJ was not there, sure... when the DJ is there, I would have to see how loud and annoying the music was.
The drinks and food were all great, the steaks met high expectations. I loved the super swanky atmosphere but advise not to bring anyone that doesn’t love loud 90’s hits with dinner.
Great atmosphere and wait staff very friendly and knowledgeable, cannot wait till they open in Nashville.
Dinner was fine until they cranked the music so loud we couldn’t hear. It was for a birthday celebration and it was my wife’s birthday as well. We didn’t realize there where different classes of celebrations. Matt our waiter was great.
2nd visit to this restaurant. Party of 4. Ambiance is energetic, service was about 90-95%, some extended delays on visits to our table, but pretty solid overall. Overall food is good but not great for the price. Apps are always better than the entrees. Had a Del Monico med rare, was solid, but expect more for price and from a place with the name STK. We may return for drinks and apps, but other better steak places in the dwntwn area. Try it, and make your own judgement. Overall, had a very nice time with friends.
My wife and I sat at the bar for appetizers, drinks, and dinner. Everything was excellent. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Bartenders were very helpful and attentive.
Great place to unwind and enjoy a great steak. Love the blue salad, filet, and chocolate cake
An excellent location downtown near Rino. Excellent steaks and sides. Great for happy hour and dinner alike.
We found STK via Open Table because we were looking for a place to grab a good meal before the ballgame. They had immediate seating at 5:30 for 4 people. The hostess was splendid even though we were NOT dressed appropriately for this establishment - headed to a Rockies game, and all. This is a nice late evening restaurant. We were seated and waited on promptly. Food and drinks were amazing. We will be back for date night. Really liked this place.
The restaurant is really geared toward the younger set. If you are over 50 you need to know that you will be pummeled by endless EDM dance music. this would be OK if the steak was AWESOME, it is not. We both sent out steaks back as under cooked. they took car of this gracefully and brought us a complimentary desert as a result, however the steaks were tough and a tiny bit flavor-less. the desert was really good, however I am diabetic and should even look at it. Over-all at the end of the evening the music drove me nuts and I couldn't wait to get out of there. To be fair the other folks there appeared to have a decent time. The noise is a common illness as I won't return to Guard and Grace for all the same reasons. I wish someone could still cook a bone-in strip like the guys at 5280/ Gallaghers, unfortunately deceased.
I’m not much for loud energetic ambience when going out for fine dining. I didn’t expect this but it might appeal more to others. I don’t like having to struggle to have a table conversation because of the loud music being piped in. Our waiter was very good. No issues there. My steak was overdone. For the price, I can do better. Finally, no valet parking. You must park and pay in a garage underneath the building. The garage is kind of spooky I think.
We had a great meal! Our server was super attentive and friendly. Loved the different sauce options for the meat. We would definitely return.
We were there for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. From the manager Diana greeting us at the bar to Juan providing impeccable and attentive service. The food was incredible. A special surprise delivered by Juan and Tyler topped off a perfect evening. It's clear to see why this is our favorite special occasion venue.
Absolute favorite with the BEST flavor and quality of any establishment. This is coming from a real foodie.
The food was pretty good. I had scallops that I enjoyed and others had steak and said it was good. The music was incredibly loud and they were having trouble with their lighting that night we were there. Our server was excellent and very attentive. I would go for somewhere with maybe less blaring Michael Jackson over a nice meal.
The girl who answered the phone wasn’t very friendly. The food was amazing but my dates chicken wasn’t all the way cooked. Our server was very nice about it and gave us free parking
Good dinner, service was good. Very pricey. Guard &Grace is top steak house and prices are very high, bur STK is higher and not near the food experience of Guard & Grace.
Had a ball ! Manager was lovely and took great care of us : )
Great meal. Great service.
Great place. It was a Monday night so that inhibits my choices but the food and management is awesome.
Couldnt ask for a better experience. Price ,service, staff was excellent. Steak tartare was fantastic. You can’t go wrong here
Not worth the money. Steaks were not done properly. If you are looking for a good steak dinner, there are a lot of better options out there.
