We had an amazing server she went above and beyond
If you’re looking for a place to dine and enjoy everything around you STK is the spot. The drink and food are good until the last bite. It’s a great place to celebrate any occasion. The staff is beyond friendly and incredibly accommodating. This place is amazing, going back every chance I can.
Such an expensive restaurant and the food is below average... will never go back.
Amazing service the only thing we made a reservation for 830 wasn’t sat until 930 that was the only down fall.
Great time ! Griffin and Melissa were amazing !!
Overall, our experience was just OK.
Upon arrival, we checked in for our 7PM reservation, only to be told they’re at capacity and cannot seat us for another 30 minutes.
What’s the point of having a reservation if we can’t get seated at that time?
How did you reach capacity knowing you have reservations at certain times?
They offered outdoor seating which was a big no because I specified I wanted indoor seating. (I made my reservation 3 weeks prior)
It was our first time here so of course we had questions about the menu, but the server didn’t seem to know much.
That should’ve been a red flag because if you work at a restaurant, you should know the menu inside and out in order to give recommendations.
We ordered the tomahawk (medium rare) with lobster Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes.
The tomahawk was not medium rare, it was burnt on one end and most of it was rare.
Literally 2 pieces were “medium rare”
The lobster Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes were the highlight of our meal.
I ordered two cocktails, both were just okay.
I will say that I will never be visiting STK again and highly recommend to go elsewhere.
If you’re looking for quality steak, please go to Ruth Chris.
The only negative thing we would say is that that the people at the hostess stand were rude and abrupt. I understand the job isn’t easy during these times but it is the first Impression of the restaurant.
Loved our time but they charged us the entire bill instead of splitting it. Our receipt stated the half charge but our bank account states differently. Still waiting for a call back
We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon but they only have brunch on weekends till 3pm. The lounge area was pretty nice and empty. Came in with empty stomach and went out super full so the portions were perfect for 2 people.
Everything was good except for the truffle Steak that was super salty. It was almost like pouring salt to my mouth every bite I took.
I told the waiter and he said he would find out why, but never came back to tell us.
Still recommend this place if you don't get unlucky like me.
Service and ambiance was wonderful but the food is pretty bad. We got the pasta and short rib with mashed potatoes. Maybe go for drinks but not for food.
The hostesses here think they are the queens of England which I don't recall the queens of England needing waitress jobs. Unless they are just doing it for fun, then I understand their condescension and horrible attitudes.
However, I do not believe that these three girls are the queens of England so I must say I was very taken aback by their patronization and sour looks on their faces. I came in on 2/19 around 8pm. I did not feel welcome and left STK with a horrible feeling about myself, and my two companions that were with me felt the same. I do feel that these women should improve their truculent behavior before someone finds out that they are indeed, not the queens of England.
One redeeming thing about this experience was our waitress, I cannot recall her name but she had red hair and she had amethyst nails. I did quite enjoy her and she was a joy to talk to.
I hope STK can take this feedback into careful consideration!
Music to loud
Flew from Houston, TX and after a long delayed flight I walked in and the hostess welcomed us with a big smile and good energy. We were definitely social distancing with other people. Food was great! I got a complimentary desert for my bday! So fun !! The ambiance is awesome. I will be coming back for sure.
Update : so I initially reviewed on Feb 16 for my moms birthday and was not happy with the miscommunication. Despite that I went on my Anniversary on Feb 18. The service was great because everyone was tentative, atmosphere and music was upbeat & energetic. I will definitely be back....
I reserved this dinner for my moms birthday. I called the day before to ask if I can go in before their scheduled time to set up her table with balloons and such but I was told with Covid I was unable to bring in any decorations and I accepted that. After I dropped my parents and put my card on file so they can make her a special birthday cake a woman walked in with flowers and a balloon bouquet which turned out it was for a birthday party as well. I was so upset because it made me feel like my mothers birthday was not as special since I was told I COULD NOT BRING DECORATIONS & you got this group showering someone with the same birthday as my mother.
Luckily my mom is a nice a person and did not make a big deal out of the decorations and she did say she enjoyed the food most especially her cake.
I am booking this place again for my anniversary today. Hopefully there is no miscommunication.
Overall really good. We were celebrating a birthday but we ended up getting sat in the bar which I wasn’t super happy about. Other than that the food and service was pretty good. Nothing crazy impressive but decent!
Stuck in Denver due to cancelled flights so my husband and I decided to take advantage of the time to try some steakhouses (we ❤️ steak!!). STK exceeded our expectations! Everything was AMAZING! Food, service, ambiance and music, all A+. I had the Surf and Turf with a Filet and Lobster Tail. Delicious! My husband opted for the Tomahawk. Amazing! Cocktails were also fantastic. Our whole dining experience was awesome. Thanks STK for a wonderful evening.
We kept having to wait for our waitress to come by or ask another staff member to find her for us. We weren’t able to order an appetizer first and were told we needed our whole order in first. That was odd because I’ve done it before. Our steak was very charred we had to cut off the pieces in order to eat it. The Brussels sprouts were over cooked also to the point of being burnt. I’ve been to a couple of STK restaurants and this location is no where near the standards of other locations.
Loved it! Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful service. Delicious food!!
Really really great burger. Empty restaurant felt very safe
My experience at STK was Phenomenal! They more than made up for the Valentine’s Day dinner that never happened because the restaurant was overbooked ..but hey these things happen! I’m sure it wasn’t intentionally .The next day I receive a call from the gm with an offer to make up for the bad Valentine’s Day experience. I was offered a total refund because the meal was prepaid! Or I could come back the next night for a 4 course meal on the house plus a $200 gift card to use at any location! Of course I accept the free meal and gift card! And I must say I’m sooo glad I gave it another chance! My waiter SHAWN WAS SO COOL AND SUCH A PRO! He MADE THAT EXPERIENCE GREAT!! He was the cherry on top! The food was SO FREAKIN GOOD! They treated me like royalty!! The hostess was so friendly!! We were talking about the food and experience the next day!! The went a live and beyond to make up for the Valentine’s Day mishap and I appreciated it! The whole staff and team their was great! Denver STK experience so I rebooked!
The food was well seasoned and thoughtful with great flavor combinations. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was a treat and I looked forward to trying other menu items in the future. Hats off to the Chef!
Absolutely amazing went with my boy friend and parents to celebrate a late valentines! Everything was beautiful, the music was a great touch and our waiter was very knowledgeable! Must try dry aged tomahawk with truffle butter! It was one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile.. can’t forget some lobster Mac, Parmesan mash and some Brussels! Definitely coming back.. if they sold they truffle butter I’d buy it!!!
We came here to celebrate my boyfriends 21st birthday. The atmosphere was classy and I loved how it had a “club vibe” in a sense. I ordered the filet and it was delicious. Also, perfectly cooked. We also got the lobster Mac n cheese. It was a little dry for my liking and there wasn’t enough lobster. The drinks were delicious and the calamari was amazing. I would love to go here again!
Love LoVe LOVE STK!
Our meal was amazing, the dance music was great, and our waiter (Rick) was one of the best. He recommended a wine I’d never heard of after I described my taste and we drank the whole bottle.
I’ll be back any time I’m In Denver!
Great vibe and great food. We really enjoyed our meal!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Traveling From Arizona spending Valentine's Day in Denver. Set and paid 200$ for a 10pm reservation a week ahead of time. Once we showed up, the lead host was extremely rude. I said my name for my reservation and all I got was "it's over an hour and half wait, Everyone waiting paid 200, do you want a refund otherwise wait" we did not get a table until 11pm. There was 10+ other couples waiting, just awful, very poor time management. Why book and make so many couples pay ahead of time without any tables being available? And not even try to call and warn any of us. We walked into a mad house. I've never seen so many angry people in a restaurant before. Management was rude also. When you make people PAY AHEAD OF TIME and tell them to wait in the cold the least you can do is BE NICE and apologetic. We revived none of that. Way to ruin everyone's Valentine's Day dinner STK!!!!
Managers are great people , both came to talk to me about the inconvenience and got everything situated. Handled well professionally.
Valentine’s dinner reservations which required a $400 deposit for 4 people was a disgusting mess! Our reservations were for 8pm and when we arrived so many people were waiting by the hostess that we could barely make it into the restaurant. The hostess was beyond condescending and super unprofessional she told us that we would have to wait an 1 hour and a half to be seated after making reservations a week in advance and already paying $400! She then proceeded to let us know if we didn’t like it to go to the bar across the street or to call corporate for a refund and continued to roll her eyes. After standing outside for over an hr with temperatures below 0 we were then seated to be told that half of the items on the menu weren’t available! We have dined at the STK in Vegas but this one definitely left a sour taste. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location if it was the last standing restaurant on earth. That’s how bad it was! The manager definitely lacks a staff that is capable of keeping up with the standards that STK has to offer.
The way it was promoted was good for a Valentine’s Day and experience. The problem. Was waiting over an hour to get seated. If I known I had to wait a hour , due to covid concerns you don’t want everyone just waiting at the front door. Food was good. Over priced drinks. Wouldn’t come back due to lack of attention at a dinner date. Would not recommend leaving a deposit if can’t commit to time just like the website. If customer commits you would the restaurant would too. Hope for a better experience for others but food was at least something worth it.
If you want to eat some amazing food like you're seated next to the DJ speakers this is the place to go.
Management screwed staff on Valentine’s Day way over reserving tables but they have a resilient staff there and still did as much as they could to get as many people seated as possible. Especially important because the dinner required a $100 dollar deposit. Those workers deserve better management. Would recommend on a regular occasion.
Definitely will not be returning to this location. Went for Valentine’s Day and made a reservation well in advance for 7:15. Did not get seated until 8:36. When we got seated we were seated in an area that seemed like a garage and was freezing. Mind you, I booked indoor seating. We ordered and food took forever to come. Yes, it was crowded so I expected it to take longer to come out, but when there are several tables that are seated after you eating their meals and paying before you even get your food and the food isn’t hot when it gets to the table that is an issue to me. Not worth what I paid. Server was not attentive and overall was a bad experience. First and last time dining here.
Paid a $200 non-refundable deposit for Valentines Day dinner with my wife. Reservation was for 7PM. On arrival, could barely get in due to the crowd at the checkin desk. Packed like sardines-no social distancing. Hostess informed me they were running a “little” behind and the wait would be at least an hour as if that was normal and OK. Suggested we walk around 16th street mall to find a bar. Temperature was 3 degrees. We returned after receiving a text that our table was ready after an hour but had to wait another 10 minutes. During the wait in the same shoulder to shoulder crowd, we discovered they were now offering refunds-presumably due to the number of complaints. Dinner was fine but grossly overpriced. Terribly mismanaged bookings and COVID compliance. I tried calling numerous times during the day for parking information but the line was continuously busy. Restaurant never called to alert me to the delay and I couldn’t reach them to cancel or complain when we saw the situation at checkin. Won’t ever go back but will report to health department.
The food was delicious, 10/10. The issue we had was with our reservation on Valentine’s Day. We booked for 7 and when we arrived, they told us they were running an hour behind and asked us to wait outside (it was -5...)
They blamed the delay on other customers who didn’t want to get up, which I thought was unprofessional.
On the positive side, our server was very kind, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very up-beat (almost too much so for a romantic dinner).
We spoke with the management about our experience and they certainly made up for the hour wait. Overall, positive experience with good food.
We had valentines day reservations. We show up on time about 5 minutes before our reservation just to find out they are over 1 hour behind on reservations. No warning ahead of time no update. Its valentines day and we had to put down a $200 deposit. So obviously we stayed. Good thing they took care of us while we wait. Oh wait. No they didnt. They sent us outside into this tent barely warmer than outside and filled with about 30 other people waiting for their reservations to come up. It just happened to be -4 degrees outside. My date and I were not dressed to wait in the freezing cold for over 1 hour. In the meantime they could have brought us drinks or at least do something to make us feel like paying customers rather than barn animals. I then go inside while still waiting for my table to get a drink. I started by saying ive been waiting 45 minutes can i get a drink. They took my order. I thought ok they will comp this. Nope. $17 for a basic cocktail. Basically it was a miserable experience. Once we finally get seated. They told us that what we wanted was already sold out. The food was good. Nothing special. The ambiance was upbeat. Doesnt matter though. I will never go back. I will never go to any of their other locations either. They lost both myself and my date for good. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Open table should not allow STK to use them anymore. The reservations are a scam setup by management to try and lock in as many $200 deposits as possible for tables that don't exist. I cam here on valentines day and had to wait an hour to be seated for my "reservation". Had to wait outside in the -4F degree weather. Throughout the entire night there was a large angry mob of people by the entrance because of the reservation scam. Refunds weren't offered until you had already been waiting for your reservation in the freezing cold for 30 minutes. The restaurant was clearly operating at more than 100% capacity during a pandemic with extra tables added in uncomfortably close to together. The restaurant was cold, loud, and could not be considered fine dining by any stretch of the imagination. I feel bad for the employees here, but the management are scumbags running a scam.
Overbooked their restaurant and made us stand outside in -2 degree weather for an hour after our reservation time
