This was one of the worst dining experiences I have endured. STK-Denver needs to decide whether it is a serious steakhouse (and it is not) or a club scene. The night we were there, it was a club scene with music so loud you could not converse nor could you enjoy eating. It was fun watching girls dancing on tables but insufficient to offset the poor quality of the food. I ordered a bone-in-filet, medium rare. It was served well done. Most people at my table experienced the same inability to match what was ordered vs. what was served. The music was so loud that the back wall where we sat was pulsating. The experience was so awful that I will not eat at STK in the future in any city. There are too many other really good steak places. So, as between a serious steakhouse and a club, STK-Denver should opt for a Club. They will not make it as a steakhouse.
Love this place! Connor and Lauren are always the best.
Overall, everything was just OK. 2 people in our party had their steak over cooked and one was barely warm. The other 7 really liked their meal. The atmosphere was fun.
Long wait after reservation, and again for food. Overcooked steak. Side incredibly salty. Awesome ambience, and service was exceptionally apologetic for the flaws, but seriously the quality of food was not at all worth it.
Went for an early dinner before Miss Siagon, then back for dessert after. Dinner was nice, quiet. Great food and service. Dessert (Bailey's coffee and chocolate cake) was good, music was 'club like' and loud. Overall, excellent service and great food, could turn down the music though.
Everyone we interacted with was amazing and the steak was perfectly cooked! We also ordered the jalapeño grits which I am still dreaming about!!
Matt is a great server.
Scallops were small and tasted somewhat fishy. Everyone said their steaks were fine but I felt that the scallops were nasty.
Very loud disco music, hard to talk, annoying. Steaks were good, service good but rushed like they needed the table; no table cloths, definitely not fine dining but fine dining prices. $150-$200 per person.
Great ambience delicious food!
Great place for late night drinks, but not a place I would recommend for food. Steaks were overdone and the server told me that it just looked that way because it was overcast outside?! The rest of the food was subpar at best. Won’t go back!
Fantastic place. Service was great and the food was tasty m. Definitely recommended!
Our experience at STK was perfect! While pricey, we shared the steaks and sides with our table of 3 couples so we got to taste a little of everything. The brussel sprouts were my fave and the most cost effective because there was enough for all of us. The steaks were done to perfection and deliciously seasoned. It was our only night out on the town as we were in town on business so it was a great choice for us! For a special night out, I highly recommend STK!
Disappointing. I come here every year for my birthday but this will be the last time. My table wasn’t ready even though I made a reservation, our server was very sweet, but she did not bring us any bread. It took forever for the food to come out, and it was barely warm. Not the usual STK experience I’m used to at all.
The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so cool
Fabulous dining experience and 5 star service! I love this place and it’s so fun!
We began our meal with STK's signature sourdough bread with green dipping sauce. Hot and crisp on the outside - soft and fluffy on the inside - and seasoned with butter! STK’s bread is always a solid start to what will be a great meal.
For appetizers, we had Arugala Salad and the Whipped Ricotta. The arugula had the fresh herbaceous, peppery flavor it's supposed to and paired well with the other veggies STK mixed in. Now folks, let me tell you about this Whipped Ricotta - tastebuds rejoice! STK’s Ricotta is luxuriously creamy and spread oh so easily on the lightly toasted sourdough bread it was served with. The Ricotta had the perfect sweet flavor and soft texture you want in a Ricotta spread and we inhaled this appetizer. This is a seasonal dish for STK so legit go run and get it now - it's sinfully delicious!
For our entrees, we had STK's 18oz Kansas City Strip and the Seared Halibut. STK’s steaks are always amazing - The Kansas City Strip was juicy, flavorful & cooked to medium rare perfection. They were served with sauces for dipping so we got some different flavor notes on our meat while we enjoyed. The Seared Halibut came out golden brown and was a nice tender filet.
For sides, we had the Creamy Yukon Potatoes, Sweet Corn Pudding and Asparagus. The sweet corn pudding was a standout side!! So delicious!
Our waiter and the entire STK team ensured we had a wonderful meal!
We love Stk! We’ve been to the locations in NYC and LV and we’re so happy to have a location in Denver! Our sever was great and made delicious suggestions and the managers all came by to check on us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves! Talk about great customer service! Oh and I can’t forget the awesome music that made us want to stay all night, but we couldn’t because...well...kids and bedtime! Lol! Can’t wait to go back!
Great vibe, chic place, waitress recommended the bone in strip. worst $75 steak I’ve had, it was like a sizzler steak house, awful...they should not call themselves a steakhouse. The sides we’re great! Won’t be going back...
They were out of most things on the menu. Bad service steak was not as good as STK Vegas was very disappointed.
Awesome experience! Highly recommend, the customer service was on point.
The food was delicious but the portion sizes are small. They claim a side can be split by 3 people but it feeds 2 max!
We hosted a surprise party at STK and the food, service and atmosphere was incredible.
Very pricy, but very good service and food make up for it!
Took another friend from out of town for a birthday & again, STK did not disappoint! Everything was on point and my friend was happy and impressed! Thank you!
It was loud. The steak was over cooked but the service made up for it. The chef brought out a special off menu appetizer because it was our anniversary. They waiters did a free round of shots for the restaurant. It was an experience
Service was impeccable our waitress was very attentive and answered any questions we had. the music was a little to loud, it’s suppose to be a upscale restaurant not a club. The food was very good but a bit overpriced. Overall not bad experience.
Having been to precious STK locations, I expected a high quality dining experience. This was emphatically not that.
(1) The wagyu was not of the same quality as other STK locations. It was full of fat. The fat was not rendered down, and it was not consistently marbled throughout. This resulted in large, chewy, and inedible chunks. The flavor of the steak was excellent, and those pieces that were not full of fat, were very good.
(2) I ordered the steak to be medium rare. I was given a piece of leather — grey throughout. I sent it back. The restaurant remade the steak, but offered no recompense for the fact that my meal was then delayed. As such, my sides were cold. And my table mate had to eat their meal alone while I waited for mine. Having been to Fleming’s, Ruth’s Chris, Gibson’s, and many many more steakhouses, I have never encountered such unthoughtful customer service.
Wanted to try the new steak house in town. Very disappointed. Quality and size of steak very disappointing. Wedge salad ok. People should try it for themselves to draw their own conclusions but do not think you can successfully be a good steak house and disco at once
The service was excellent, but the price was very high. I had the wagyu flat iron steak, which was really tasty and cooked perfectly, but there was a vein of silver skin running through it. For $39 for a steak (a la carte) I really do expect exceptional butchering.
Maybe we're spoiled in Denver, but there are plenty of places to get a great steak for half the price, with great atmosphere.
A real disappointment. Our first visit. Very expensive filet steak ordered med rare and delivered med well. Salmon entree priced at premium level delivered a sad little rectangle of fish. It was an overpriced experience. Not going to return.
Great food! Happy hour menu is amazing. Our server was kind, funny, and very professional. We will definitely be back.
Parking was inconvenient. The table place settings did not seem fresh. There were several bugs near the window seating in bar area. The menu was limited based on previous STK visits in other states. The 6 oz filet was over cooked (asked for medium well) which should have a warm pink center but it was cooked through and the exterior was somewhat charred. The Brussel sprouts were fried which was not described in the menu and the preparation was not appetizing or flavorful. I requested a substitute of creamy spinach but it never arrived. Eventually, the hostess came by to explain but there was no accommodation made for my inconvenience, only a dessert menu as an option for my canceled vegetable.
Overall, the meal was expensive and unsatisfying. I usually take photos of my meals but this meal was not worthy nor the presentation of it. I will not return to this location.
Steak was broiled, over cooked and dry. For the price it was very disappointing. Enjoyed the DJ and watching the birthday shots come out.
The food at STK is very good and the staff is attentive. But, I could barely hear the person sitting next to me when I was in the restaurant portion due to the music in the bar portion. They need to decide if they want to be an upscale restaurant or a happy hour location and then price accordingly as I definitely paid for the upscale restaurant but felt I was at happy hour with the noise.
It’s ok the food
We rented the private room, it is a great space for cocktails and and social dinner. It was a Monday night so perhaps the staff was short handed. The flow of the dinner service was not great.
I absolutely love this restaurant. The host Lauren was really nice and recommended some fun things to here in Denver while we are visiting. The bartender Connor made the best drinks and food recommendations! I will be back once I visit Denver again!
Food was overpriced for the quality. I ordered a 8 oz steak and only ate 3oz because it was not appetizing. Every other side was very mediocre. Very disappointing.
STK never disappoints. Great birthday experience for our friends and we couldn’t leave without the lobster Mac & cheese!
Overpriced. Everything on the menu is expensive and nothing was amazing. The mashed potatoes were $14 and tasted like boxed instant mashed potatoes.
