This was such a disappointing experience. I made a big group dinner for Denver Restaurant Week and it was such a let down. For starter, service was incredibly slow. It took us 45 minutes to get our appetizers. Our waiter failed to ask if there were any allergies at the table and the menu did not provide descriptions for any of the side dishes. As such, we ended up ordering sides that we couldn’t eat due to dietary restrictions (ex. The tater tots are actually filled with cream and topped with Parmesan but the menu just described them as normal tots). The biggest disappointment came from the expensive seafood platter. At nearly $40 a head, the platter seemed impressive at first glance. However the minute we bit into the seafood we were disgusted. The shrimp, crab and lobster were all overcooked and rubbery. Because service was so slow, we were starving and just decided to power through it. It was the worst lobster, crab, and shrimp I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It truly was such a disappointment because we’ve had good experiences at STK before but this was bad enough to make us not want to return. :(
Steak is always perfectly cook with great sides and dessert as well. Would stick to wine or beer as their signatures cocktails are quite pricey and for me have failed to live up to that quality.
Second time Ive been here. First time everything was great! Service is always exceptional! This time food was okay my potatoes were burnt, steak was okay a bit too salty. Not the best second go around.

Our server Melissa, was great, food was tasty. The music was more like for a club or bar...volume wise. We had to yell over to each other to be heard.
It was Restaurant Week so we were hoping to get to know a new restaurant. Instead the wine pairing was half pours, the food was small portions and the burrata appetizer was shabbily made. Disappointed that even though I ended up spending $80 I got a meal that was worth around $20.
Once we traded the terrible server for the one we had for happy hour - the evening improved. The food was decent, although the steaks overcooked. The manager did his best to make amends for the issues. They would have received higher marks, had we not ALL had severe stomach issues the evening (and beyond) after eating there. Makes me wonder...
We had a great birthday celebration on Sunday evening at STK. The Restaurant Week menu had good variety, AND the food was delicious. Erik took excellent care of our group (6).
This is the second time we have dined at STK and both experiences were super.
One suggestion would be to turn down the music volume in the dining section.
Came here for Restaurant Week and had the prix fixe menu of the brussels salad, arctic char and shared the dessert with my friend. Like most high end restaurants, the portions were small, but the service and atmosphere were great. Waiter was very kind and attentive and the place feels upscale. I'm glad I went during RW because this is more of a special occasion or business meeting restaurant.
Beautiful - lovely place
Server was all over us early - then told us we had to order at once - we were not ready to order wine yet then did not see him until salads were almost done
The shaved Brussels sprouts salad had way too much vinegar - I brought it to server attention - with expectations of him asking us to switch out. - but he didn’t
Steak was great and so was fish
I just got babe that since it was restraint week - servers were not that excited vs their big corporate tables
The wine pairing for 3 half glasses would have been $65 do we opted for a $14 and $16 glass of red wine- skimpy pours and overpriced
When bill came there was double charges on the desert we had to bring to the servers attention which he rectified
The thing that really disturbed us was that a scraggly young couple in basketball jerseys sat down in booth next to us - ordered a glass of wine and left (probably when they saw the prices) - but the servers reset the table with new glasses and the SAME PLATES AND NAPKINS!!!! We are in age of corona virus - we said something and five minutes later they cleared table as they realized someone had saw
After that we asked to
Pack our own leftovers into a box - as e were uncertain of what happens in rear
Gorgeous restraint with dj but underwhelming experience for $210
Excellent value for Restaurant Week. The steak was incredible. It had been aged for 28 days.
Great ambiance and decor. Food was all amazing as well. Could get pricey, but restaurant week menu provides great value.
STK is awesome. The food is great, the ambiance is great, and the drinks rock!! Love this place!!
6 months as parents!
Food was good but the steak tasted like it had no seasoning whats so ever. Thought it was pretty expensive for what you got.

We did not get our steaks prepared how we asked and I received the wrong steak sauce. Also ordered the wine pairing with our meals (restaurant week) and we had to continually ask for our wine after the food had been delivered.

If you want a club with a Steakhouse, here is your place. Don't forget it will be just as much bottle service.
Enjoyed Denver Restaurant Week. Great menus picks by STK. Albert was great! Thank you.
Was seated 30minutes late. Host blamed on restaurant week but a reservation is a reservation. Food came super late but manager gave round of drinks on house and 1/2 off bill which was generous. Fun place and food good but need some work on service.
We went for 5280 and expected a much better deal. The food was average at best. The steak was dry and undercooked. The food was insanely expensive for the price, in addition they charged for steak sauce. If you are going to a steak house Shanahan's is WAY better for the price.
Super loud. Was really hot. Food was mediocre at best. Service was good. It was for my birthday.

We had the filet with truffle butter and parmesan mashed potatoes - cooked perfectly and amazing flavor. Our server, Matt, was professional and attentive throughout - just amazing experience from start to finish. Will be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and drinks. The service was good also.
Service was great. Alfredo took good care of us for my bday. They were out of the stk my bro ordered and they up sold him a different one. His wife got served cold chicken. Like you put your finger in it and it was cold out of the fridge cold. They brought her another one 15 min later but still charged us for it. Free bday shot with a firework In your face was cool.
Took our adult family of 5 out to STK for dinner. When it was time to order our entrées we were slightly disappointed when 3 out of 5 of us had to change our entrees because they were out, (sighting the busy valentine's weekend - which was understandable). While disappointed we kept it light and didn't complain. Our server obviously mentioned the situation to management. The manager came over to our table to apologize and asked if we would be having dessert, which we were not. He asked if he could please bring out a platter of assorted desserts (also asking what our favorites would be) and a glass of sparkling wine for each of us. This more than made up for not getting our first choice in entrees and thankful for a diligent server and thorough management!
The best steakhouse in Denver bar none
Awesome! Great all around
Overrated and way overpriced. Wish we had ordered room service instead. Valentine's day was almost ruined by this boring expensive resturant. Great hotel saved the night. Will not reccomend STK
Seated in Bar with reservation not the restaurant, was so turned off we decided to order just steaks which the waiter then complained to a manager about at the Till. So turned off by the experience I will never go back to STK Denver.
Service was amazing! Food was boring, super expensive and small portions.
Steak was overcooked for our tables request of medium rare on both steaks, food and drinks were good, but overall overpriced.
It was very crowded. We waited way too long to get our food and to be honest everything was was over priced. I’ve had better food at Outback Steakhouse and paid less for it. Management did apologize for our food delay, but probably won’t be returning anytime soon.
I’ve been to STK several of times. It’s always a good experience. This particular time didn’t feel like the same STK vibe. We were put in the back room and felt excluded from everything.
The overall experience was cool, it’s a very unique and fun way to have dinner. The service was only so so, it took so long to get drinks we were only able to have two in the entire 2 hours we were there. The food was very good but overall for the value the steak was nothing special. For $20 less per steak you can get a better one at a number of other downtown steak houses.
An amazing dinner on Valentine’s Day❤️ atmosphere was very energetic and fun!
Literally the best dinner I’ve ever had.
One of the better Valentine's atmosphere's we've had. Nina (sp?), our server, did an amazing job. The sides were among the best.
The only real issue we had was my wife's filet being heavily under cooked. We usually go one level up when ordering from a restaurant that specializes in steak (especially on a filet). Almost always turns out perfect. This was extremely rare when she ordered medium.
Still, the flavor was excellent and she did not leave disappointed.
One miscue will not ruin what was an otherwise great night at STK.
Would definitely recommend.
While understandably crowded on Valentine’s day, 40 min wait for table of 5 with a reservation in place is not acceptable
To be fair, drinks and desserts were comped.
Had a piece of hair in a salad to start. Ordered a $60 steak Medium Rare and it came MORE than Well Done. Had to send it back and the second steak came back Medium at best but was still overcooked. Decided to eat it anyways. For a place called STK they don’t know how to COOK them. By far worst steakhouse experience in Denver.
Amazing service, amazing food, fun atmosphere. Don’t go for a quiet night out, it’s not meant to be quiet. this is a great date night, but pricey. We don’t regret it food all 3 courses we had was amazing, but will just have wait and save up for before we go again haha
This place was the worse steak house I have ever been to. The managers were running around yelling “hurry up and help me turn this table” (manager in the grey suit on Valentine’s Day). The steaks are way over priced. Shannahans, Del Friscos, Elways are all 100% better options. If you want this quality steak And atmosphere then go to Texas Roadhouse. It is way to loud for the amount it cost and their goal is to turn tables as fast as they can. We told our waiter that we were taking our time. In 10 min he came back and asked us for our order 5 times. The managers need to let their team work.
