Very disappointed. First time here. Wanted to order the seafood tower. Wanted to substitute the raw seafood. Server said she had to go ask the chef. Came back and she said it it could not be done. The restaurant was a ghost town. Why couldn’t they accommodate?????
So we paid for our drinks went next door to Smith and Wollensky . Had the seafood tower with accommodations. $350.00 later we left feeling very satisfied and taken care of.
Take note STK.
Oysters were not properly shucked and had grit in them. Steak was a bit over and under seasoned
Todo excelente, en ocasiones un poco lento el servicio. Recomendable
Good service waiter was great.
Food was cold, and nasty. Waitress was rude, with a nasty attitude. Service sucked. Asked for the manager 10times then had to pay for a bill when the food was not even touched. Worst experience ever.
Unfortunately a terrible experience. Took almost 1.5 hours to get appetizers that were, at best, mediocre. Food arrived over cooked and missing items. Manager / staff made apologies (and some excuses) then comped the meal which was appreciated. I understand tough times but this was a dismal experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant. It is way to expensive for the service you get. We got great service till we ordered. Then, our food came and we never saw our waiter again. We prolly could have left without paying. We had to find someone to actually pay our check and leave. It was heart breaking to be there and not even be able to get dessert to sing and celebrate my husband’s birthday. It is way to expensive of a restaurant to not get any service. The food was good though.
Had a large party we’re all of our steaks were significantly overdone
Drinks were great!
Food was good.
Music was on point!
Service could have been better.
We had a great time. Staff was nice and helpful. Great place to have a date.
STK IS ALWAYS MY FIRST CHOICE, THAT SPICY WATERMELON DRINK IS THE BOMB AND THEY HAVE THE BEAT STEAK IN CHICAGO.
Birthday dinner, great ambiance
Erik is THE BESTTTTT!!!! He treated us like family (the ones u like)!! I will always ask to sit in his section and refer STK to everyone.
Late anniversary date + Pre birthday celebration and it did not disappoint!
The truffle butter killed the flavor of my steak. Not worth the money
I highly recommend STK!!! The ambiance and the food are both amazing!! The portion sizes are really large, so make sure to go really hungry!
27th year anniversary rinner
I had a good time for my 21st birthday. I already recommended friends and family.
The greeter was excellent and we were seated within minutes (we did have a reservation). Our server Andrea was excellent, knowledgeable about the menu. She was not pushy and gave us ample time to just talk after our meal was complete. Not very vegan or vegetarian friendly but it is a steakhouse. The experience was great overall.
The waitress only spoke to my guest and the reservation was under my name. She was so rude to me the whole dinner I was so annoyed and it’s ashamed because the food and drinks were great but bad service can ruined the experience.
The hostess was incredibly rude and short. I will never return here again.
We specifically came to the restaurant for Happy Hour specials and date night menu, which is available on Mondays. However, we were told that neither of the menus are available during the Labor Day. This is not mentioned anywhere on the website or the menu. Considering we drove to the city for an hour, it was quite disappointing. Our dinner also cost twice as much as a result. The cost of the appetizers is outrageous considering the portions. I’ve been to multiple 5 star restaurants and have never seen portions so small for the cost. For example, the crab cake size of a golf ball is $35. The crab cake is by no means a “jumbo.” The King Crab is literally 3 small half legs on ice. For $43 I’d expect twice or maybe 3 times the portion. The food was good quality and our server was very friendly, but we would not be coming back due to the issues above.
Jacob made our experience here amazing!!!! By far the best waiter we have had! He was serving us along with Scottie. They were both great and the rest of our experience including the food, drinks, and ambience were great! They made my birthday dinner so much fun. Can’t wait to come back!
Long wait for main entree. Perhaps better spacing of the drinks and appetizers would’ve helped. Food was good, waitress was nice. If we visit again , I think we’ll need to dine inside to get the full experience.
The hostesses were horrible. I had a reservation and there was an additional wait time of nearly 30 mins…truly horrible experience at first. Our server Julio saved the night…his attitude was great and the food was amazing. He’s very professional and I would honestly
Request his section if I chose to come to this location again.
The ambiance is fantastic. We found a seat at the bar and ordered our first drink. The bartenders were nice and efficient. We got seated shortly thereafter. Our server was friendly, engaging and funny. Gave us lots of good recommendations. We started with the lump crab cake. I was expecting large lumps of crab but it was more like shredded crab. A little bland in flavor. Next we shared the wedge salad. The bleu cheese dressing is great. Crisp bacon on top. Great salad! The food runner didn't bring us silverware we requested or share plates so we waited then finally got forks from the server but no plates. I had the dry aged Delmonico. Great flavors and seasoning and prepared perfectly. My friend had the 10oz filet. Ordered mid rare came out mid well. Over cooked and dry. He would have requested another steak but didn't get the chance as the server was busy with other tables and never made it back to check. We shared creamed spinach which was bland. We chose the Apple pie for dessert. It arrived and the food runner left without getting us silverware again. We waited for several minutes until the server saw us from another table and ran to get us spoons. The dessert was good but the pie was cold by the time we had utensils. Little misses on service pieces and a bigger miss on some food. Their prices suggest a more refined experience.
Not the best experience… service not on par for what I would expect. Server and staff were so-so. Not sure I would return.
Two out of our three items came out wrong. One was returned came back wrong again. Second was returned and came back with a different item. Management was rude and didn't want to do anything about it. She wanted to argue with my husband, who was a chef about the issues with the food. We paid the tab at the table using a credit card machine and when we tried to leave they had locked the doors and told us we couldn't. They had a security guard standing there telling us we couldn't go.They said we had to talk to the manager and they wouldn't let us leave. We had already spoken to her. This may not end here This was a big mistake on their part.
Early birthday celebration
Took an hour over our reservation and requesting the manage (David) to get seated… The upsetting part is that people who checked in behind after us, were already seated and being served.
Music was great but try not to sit under the speaker, you’ll end up deaf.
Good vibe if they get those couple of major points taking cart of.
To classify STK as a steakhouse is the greatest mischaracterization of this restaurant that you could possibly make, STK is a nightclub moonlighting as restaurant. The ambiance gives you the feeling you’re in a Miami nightclub, especially the behavior of a significant portion of patrons eating at the restaurant. Staff are more akin to bouncers, as I watched three parties escort out by managers and restaurant staff for poor behavior. If you’re looking for an intimate environment and a genuine steakhouse experience, this is ABSOLUTELY NOT IT.
Service was great. Filet was great. Delmonicco was just ok. Camus was overpriced but it’s my wife’s favorite so I bought it.
Shocking experience for a premium steakhouse. Had to wait 25 minutes OUTSIDE for our 8:30 reservation. Dinner for 3 was $440, somewhat expected. But complete chaos inside! Completely over crowded, fights in the bathroom, people getting pepper sprayed, people getting kicked out. F bomb being screamed across the restaurant! What the heck, I paid $400 for this!
We were limited to a 90 minute window of dining but our food took a good while to come out. Overall the food was great, my steak was room temperature so that was a bit disappointing .
The food was great! The music was a little loud.
The traditional macaroni is so good I almost hurt myself trying to finish eating it
Pros: our server was nice and really attentive. The sides were great, especially the mashed potatoes and spinach.
Cons: first one being that I was pick pocketed when we left the restaurant. Second that our table in no way fit the size of our party and we were absolutely smashed together in a booth. When we paid the bill (split the check), we were given a machine to handle the payment ourselves.
