The atmosphere was really nice. There seemed to be a bit of a rush as we came towards the end of the night but expectations are to have service the same no matter what time we arrive. We had reservations but waited 20 min to be seated. The food was great and so were the drinks.

This restaurant was slammed NRA Saturday night which would normally be very very busy, but last night was over the top. Had a long wait for our table well past the 8.30 time slot. With this said, I would like to congratulate the staff as the did an incredible job dealing with the hoards and when we did finally sit down, they continued to deliver excellent service and one of the best steaks and sides I have had in a long time. My only advise is possibly don’t take a booking for a party of 60 on one the biggest industry nights in the year as it did create a ton of delays in getting to the table. Would still eat here again.

STK did not honor our 8:15pm reservation. We were there on time and the line was 20 min to just talk to the host. When we finally spoke w the host, they said it would be an additional 30-45 min wait. This would have been an approx 9:15-9:30pm sit down. Open table/STK sent me reminders about my reservation leading up to it. Why would they not advise me they needed to cancel? **i answered the food question in the beginning of this survey because it would not let me go to this page unless I filled it out.

Reservation was 7:30, was not seated until 8:45. Took forever to get a waiter, who only told us to get the most expensive foods that we didn’t want nor need. He clearly wasn’t having a good time because he had to go through the painstaking effort of recommending food that is only reasonably priced, and proceeded to make it everyone’s problem. Meanwhile, it’s super loud to the point you can’t even hear your own thoughts. It took them another 1.5 hours to get us our food. Food was good, but pretty overpriced, and the drinks even more so. Got the check — turns out the butter they added to the steak was an additional $12 that they conveniently forgot to mention… the butter… $12. Would not recommend going unless you got lots of cash to spare and plan on being drunk to the point where the ambiance doesn’t bother you and time passes by at twice the normal rate. Probably smarter to show up drunk though so that the 2 hour wait for the reservation you made days or weeks in advance for a normal time only feels like 1 hour. Like seriously, how can you impose a 90 minute dining time limit when it takes you more than 90 minutes just to seat someone, then another 90 minutes to feed them. Crazy.

Might be my worst restaurant experience ever. Waited 1 hr and a quarter for my reservation. Almost 2 hours later said give me the check for the drinks because we didn't have the food. Asked to speak to the GM, he could care less. Lots of great restaurants in Chicago do not waste your time here

We had a 6:45 reservation and we didn’t get seated until 7:30. 45 minutes waiting. Horrible up front management. Don’t take a reservation if u can’t accommodate it. Server was delightful, we had such a bad attitude for having to wait so long. Other diners were also complaining. Horrible service up front with reservations. Won’t go back because of this. Everyone was in a bad mood after waiting this long. They did nothing or acknowledge it.

Although we made a reservation, it took forever to be seated. I was on the phone with Chicago Cut Steakhouse and they were going to seat us right away. But last minute they finally got us a table after waiting 35 min!!!

Visiting from Canada, decided to go here. Words can not describe how fun, lively and amazing this place is. Music is phenomenal. The food is absolutely fantastic. The short ribs are like butter. Tuna tartare is ridiculously good and the spicy watermelon drink is off the charts! Definitely a place to visit but keep in mind, even with a reservation, you’re waiting. We had a reservation and still had to waited 45 mins.

The ambience of this restaurant was amazing. Food and service was great. They have a live DJ playing music from the 80’s and 90’s, definitely has a very loud good energy. If you don’t like noise and looking for a more quiet date, this isn’t the spot for you.

Dre, our bartender, was excellent! She helped keep our meal flowing and did a great job at keeping our glasses full. The food was quite delicious, as were the drinks. It was our first visit and we look forward to future visits.

We had 630pm reservation for my boyfriend bday at 730pm we were still waiting for our food. We went from excited from the atmosphere to starving ready to go. We got the bread that was suppose to hold us over like 5 minutes before the food, service was terrible.

The staff was super nice and super accommodating. We were running late and I called to let them know we were running late because of an accident on the highway. They held our reservation until we got there. We arrived just before the grace period ended. My reservation was still honored and my family and i totally appreicated that. We were seated and our waiter, Gabriel was very helpful in answering our questions about the menu. He took our drink order and left. We sat and tried to talk, the music was a bit loud so if you are expecting "romantic" vibes, don't go there. It was a festive, clubby feeling and if you weren't in the mood for that, I suggest you go somewhere else. Outside of that, the food was prepared amazingly and everything was at the right temperature and tasted really good. However, I honestly think that it was super over priced!!! It was a fanxy place, the food was great but the prices were sky high! Would I go there again, no! Did we have a good time and enjoy the food, yes!

I gave a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star due to the obvious and loud music that is thumping in your ears for the entire dinner. The food was very, very good. The service was the BEST that we’ve had in like forever (thank you Angela)! The atmosphere was decent. Despite the volume of the music the good food and service will draw us back there. If you can request a server, I’d ask for Angela. You can see that she enjoys her job and her recommendations were spot on!!!

Service was ok. Food was great but a bit pricey. We dine out a lot...usually 4-6 a month and I was just not completely impressed. Great food tho....braised short ribs and th 10oz filet was very tasteful.

The staff was very nice and over accommodating!! The side dishes were excellent!! However the steak that I paid $80 for was not cooked very well and I really couldn’t eat it because it was over cooked and very dry! I ordered Medium Well and it came out almost burnt. Like I said everything else was great!
