Food was great and we received excellent service from Daniel and Juan. Very attentive, explained the menu and the different steaks. Delightful experience! Highly recommended for reliably good food and high quality service.

best birthday ever!! Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. Matthew was our server and made every second a blast can’t wait to come back! Only thing I wish I knew about the private rooms but never the less I had an amazing experience and am happy I picked this place to bring in my 27th chapter.

Visiting Chicago on business. Found the restaurant on Open Table and decided to go because of their ratings and late night reservation accommodations. Juan attended to us and he was wonderful. Had a wonderful dinner. We travel quite frequently and like to have a go to restaurant. This one definitely made our list and will visit in other locations as well. Thank you Juan for your hospitality. Maybe we’ll see you in Colorado or once again before we leave!

This was a great redemption dinner. The last time I dined here the experience was less than stellar and they more than made up for it. The staff worked together so well to make a most enjoyable evening. We tried some new dishes and were very pleased. But, as always the Brussels sprouts were the highlight of the meal!! We will be back soon.

This was probably one of the best meals I ever had. I had the short ribs which were so tender and flavorful. My husband had a New York Strip steak which was cooked perfectly. We also would recommend the lobster mac and the Brussel sprouts. Even the drinks were good not too sweet, we had the spicy watermelon drink it was excellent.

From start to finish it was a lovely experience. I arrived at about 9:45pm and the DJ was playing a mix of hits. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. I had the ceasar salad and king crab and my friend had the lamb chops. Both of us liked our drinks and meals. Angela was a great server. Attentive, but not so much that it became annoying. I would definitely return the next time I am in Chicago.

My friends and I were celebrating my birthday that evening. The food wasn’t good and the variety of drinks weren’t that good. I had to send my drink back, my friend’s steak wasn’t cooked the proper way, my asparagus was cold. I’m glad I was able to come here because it was on my list of restaurants to experience but I definitely won’t be coming back!

We went to STK for brunch, and the food was horrible. We ordered the wagyu truffle steak & eggs, cooked medium rare. I doubt the steak was wagyu, as it tasted like meat you would get from the super market. Also for a steak house, you think they would know how to cook meat medium rare - but came out medium well. Lastly the truffles were burnt, and did not have any aroma to them as usual shaved truffles would. Another person in our party got avocado toast, and the egg was hard boiled instead of being poached. I would not recommend, as everything is extremely overpriced for the quality of food you are getting.

STK has become just another overpriced restaurant with nothing special or exciting for the price. Service is super slow despite empty tables and plenty of wait staff (probably not enough staff in the kitchen). Front desk people were down right rude

It’s lost it’s status as a Chicago steak house. It feels more like and over priced outback. The food was amazing but the ambiance has been lost in this space. Spending $400 for dinner for two with a screaming baby sitting next to us is just not how I envisioned my business meeting to go. The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. As mentioned I felt like I was at an overpriced outback

Stk is one of my favorite restaurants. I love their drinks and food!

Our waiter was great. The ambience of the establishment was also good and the vibe is energetic as they play upbeat music there. The food was okay. The lobster mac and cheese had very small bits of lobster in it which was surprising. I have had better but it was good. Our steak was cooked improperly the first time, but the waiter worked hard to get it corrected the 2nd time. It's not a place I MUST visit again. Again, the server was great, the greeters were great, the food was okay.

Drinks are good food is not worth it steak was way over cooked, the shrimp was dry and the bread was hard. When we told the waiter he basically brushed it off.

My experience dining with STK was just ok. The restaurant was clean, the decor was ok, the service was rushed, I had a ribeye and it was just ok. There wasnt enough options for sides and topping on my steak. The lobster mac & cheese was not good. The bone in ribeye was over priced. Overall all with so many choices in Chicago, I won't go back.

Went for the last day of Chicago Restaurant week.

It's high dining, service, plus a show! We're a family of 4 with 2 middle school age kids. The vibe was much more energetic than we expected - a welcome change from classic steakhouses. We ordered 3 steaks and a custom vegetarian meal which our server Daniel handled wonderfully with the chef. Everyone loved their meals. Strongly recommend the brussel sprouts and burrata. Service was professional and attentive throughout. The DJ was a big hit with the kids - they were dancing in their seats while waiting for their entrees. At ~10 pm, the fireworks show with shots passed by the servers was an awesome spectacle. Perfect capstone for a lively dinner.
