We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary at STK Bellevue last night. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything: trendy, upscale, and buzzing with the energy of celebration. Think moody lighting, sleek decor, yet modern.
We were a party of four and opted for the tasting menu, which allowed us to sample a generous spread of STK’s standout dishes. We began with a round of appetizers: the Baby Gem Caesar, Lil’ Brgs Wagyu sliders, and Jalapeño Pickled Shrimp Cocktail. Since I’m gluten- and dairy-free, the kitchen went above and beyond to create a custom salad with a fresh lemon olive oil dressing just for me—a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.
Our entrées were equally impressive: Maple Rubbed Salmon, Mushroom & Truffle Tagliatelle, Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, a Filet, and New York Strip, all served with grilled asparagus, tater tots, and traditional Mac & Cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection—especially the steaks, which we requested medium rare. My personal favorites were the filet and sea bass.
We paired the meal with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, which complemented everything beautifully. For cocktails, my girlfriend and I ordered the Unchained Passion, while our husbands enjoyed Not Your Daddy’s Old Fashioned. Both drinks were exceptional—balanced, bold, and beautifully crafted.
The dessert board was a showstopper. It featured The Cloud; a whimsical and decadent presentation. While I couldn’t indulge due to my dietary restrictions, it was a sweet finale for the rest of the table.
What truly elevated the evening was our server, Jen. She was spectacular—attentive, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made sure our glasses were full, our dietary needs were communicated clearly to the kitchen, and that we felt taken care of throughout the night. It’s rare to experience.
In short, STK Bellevue isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s a celebration destination. Whether it’s an anniversary, a birthday, or simply a night to indulge, STK delivers.

Had high hopes for this place, but overall it was a pretty underwhelming (and overpriced) experience. For the cost, the food didn’t deliver — both in quality and portion size. Our table ordered three steaks, and two were cooked incorrectly… at a steakhouse. That alone was disappointing.
We added the bone marrow butter to one of the steaks, which they “torch” tableside. It felt more like an awkward presentation gimmick than anything — it barely warmed the butter, let alone made it spreadable.
Service was okay. Our server was in training and juggling eight tables, so while he did his best, the overall attention to detail just wasn’t there. Not necessarily his fault, but it showed.
We noted on the reservation that it was a birthday, and when we ordered dessert, I expected at least a candle — some kind of acknowledgment. Meanwhile, a nearby table of two girls got a full-on sparkle show… with shots. Make it make sense 😂
If you’re celebrating something or just looking for a steakhouse that actually nails it, I’d highly recommend Rare Society in Mill Creek instead.

If you’re looking for one of the best steakhouse experiences in the Bellevue or Seattle area, STK Steakhouse absolutely delivers. We visited during their incredible $69 steak night special, and everything from the food to the service to the overall atmosphere was flawless.
Our server, Lily, was phenomenal!! She’s attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely taken care of from the moment we sat down. Service like that makes a huge difference, and is very important to me.
The steaks and fish were perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and paired with delicious sides and mocktails. Every dish we tried was top-notch, and the quality for the price is unbeatable.
The ambiance at STK Bellevue is upscale yet welcoming, with a beautiful modern interior that made for the perfect night out. I brought a few friends who just moved to the area, and STK was the perfect way to introduce them to the Bellevue dining scene.
Whether you’re celebrating something special, entertaining guests, or just craving a great steak, STK Bellevue should definitely be on your list.
