Lobster Macaroni is very good. Best Texas Margarita I ever had. Prices are on the high level, but good atmosphere. Portion is not alot so don't expect Cheesecake Factory portions. But would definitely recommend for a nice date, or drinks in the bar area.
My now fiancé made reservations here for my 30th birthday, and I loved it! Even my 69 year old mother loved this place! It wasn't too loud, but it wasn't too quiet either. The food was great as well! I originally thought I was brought to celebrate my birthday, however we ended up celebrating our engagement. My fiancé popped the question, and immediately we were showered with congratulations and complimentary champagne. We will definitely be returning. They had great service as well as great food. Would recommend to anyone for a good evening on the town.
My boyfriend went to STK Atlanta while in town celebrating his birthday. We were immediately impressed by the ambiance and hip vibe of the decor. Our waitress, Ashlyn, was so friendly and attentive. The drinks and food was amazing and came quickly and was so fresh and delicious. We had an awesome night and the kind young man and $3 valet were an added bonus!
Love this place!!! Food and service were exceptional. Went on a Saturday night and the female DJ was amazing. Looking forward to going again soon!
Our waiter Alex Callen helped to make it a fantastic and memorable 25th anniversary celebration. Good recommendations and great service! Food was wonderful. Thanks. Highly recommend.
The staff members were so patient with us. Some of the members of my party were late but the staff worked with us and accommodated us. Then there was our waiter, Bobbie; he was amazing. He explained everything thoroughly and was very pleasant. The food was SO good and the ambiance was great. The music wasn’t what I expected (a mixture of genres), but it didn’t take from my experience at all. I loved every moment of my time there and I will DEFINITELY be back for more greatness. Thanks, STK for making my birthday special.
STK has become one of our favorite places to dine in Midtown. The food, service and ambiance are unbeatable!
Great atmosphere..music was off the chain..staff was pleasant..great overall experience.
Food was great! Couldn’t split a check which I thought was rediculous with such big party’s that come in there.
Very overpriced! Table was worn out. The restaurant had a strong fish odor.
Imagine not being allowed into a casual dining establishment because you are wearing nice tennis shoes! No athletic wear allowed? Will NEVER be back!! If you don’t like mind numbing thumping music there is no reason to go!! The tater tots suck by the way Bobbie!
Excellent service. Great atmosphere
Went in with a co-worker for dinner. The service was great and my halibut was amazing! Very nice place.
Fantastic food and service. Music level is a little higher than your average steakhouse, but you quickly get used to it. Alex was our server and he did a fantastic job walking our guest through the menu and being attentive, but not overly so. I've been here a few times and have enjoyed my steak and experience every single time. Would definitely recommend.
Wife’s birthday
It was amazing. I just preferred the music to be a lot more mellow
Grat waiter Alex.
STK ATL had a similar vibe to the STK in NYC. My only disappointment was that they discontinued the foie gras appetizer.
The service and food were excellent and the requested table was ready when we arrived.
We found the music too loud for conversation
Great experience and service
Took over [/2 hr to be seated and we had reservations and arrived early
It was a very busy evening, but I enjoyed my time. Our food came out pretty cool. Like it was sitting for some time. It was tasted, but Of course we preferred hot. Our servers were really busy so it took us some time to get drinks, I have been on a less busy day and had better service, so I will blame the crowd.
Had to wait on drinks when waiting for a table. Basically had to get a manager to get someone’s attention. Meal for the value wasn’t there. Had a bone in filet and was served Luke warm and was a little tough. Service at the table was great though, food not so much.
The restaurant is very beautiful but quite dark. The interior is black with low lighting, quite romantic, but makes it difficult for you to see what your food looks like.
The music is so loud that it resonates and shakes you in your seat. The musical selection on Easter Sunday was loud pop music, ideal for a Saturday night , but a better choice for Easter would have been low volume smooth jazz.
The service was great, Sarah was our server, she was pleasant and attentive.
The lamp chops were superb, and the corn pudding was delicious, my family had steak which was also excellent.
This restaurant is great for a business dinner or after a show or even a romantic evening.
STK offers hip upscale restaurant bar scene with amazing food, featuring steaks. The location is central and key to people watch celebs, etc.
Food was amazing! from salads, to fresh hot brioche bread and homemade sauces to accent the top-notch steaks (served a la cart). Side options include gruyere mac and cheese (albeit for $12).
Pricey, but worth it for special event.
My husband and i made reservation here for our anniversary because we’d heard great things about the food. Walked into a hip midtown lounge vibe with a dj and heavy bass. It was a little loud for us so we thought about punting and coming back on a weeknight when the music would be more subdued. Ashlyn, our server, could not have been more patient or understanding. Brit, at the front desk, offered to turn down the music in our zone. We stayed and were wowed by the food. The NY Strip with lobster was incredible- sweet lobster with a mint/jalepeno sauce and a steak cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon over fennel which was equally delicious. The food was fabulous, enhanced by the personal service. Desiree, the manager, seems to choreograph the dining room beautifully, and our servers told us she makes everything work beautifully. The food was fabulous on its own, but certainly enhanced by the atmosphere created by a staff who loves their work and their restaurant. We will be back soon!
Had a great time! Perfect for birthday setting! Food was delicious and service was timely and professional! Me and my friends had an amazing time! We will definitely go back!
It was our first time visit to STK. We had the Atlanta Dining Passport to get one entree under $30 for free. Ashlyn was our server who was very attentive and cordial. She explained the menu well and her recommended side dish was excellent. The only downside was the table we were sitted was awkward. We sat at a booth table side-by-side. I felt a little weird sitting next to each other than facing each other. The ambiance was chic-modern than classy.
I was so excited to have my birthday celebration at STK. It was my first time at the one in Atlanta. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The server had an attitude, rolled his eyes more than once and disappeared most of the night. I didn't even get offered dessert to sing Happy birthday! Also it was disappointing that a DJ wasn't there that night. The food is definitely over priced.
Had been hearing about STK for a while and my boyfriend and I decided to make reservations. We came in on a Sunday night so I can’t speak for other days of the week, but it was not too full and noise level wasn’t too bad. Our server, Ashlyn, did a wonderful job of working with us through the menu as it was our first time. She gave great recommendations, the tuna tartare was a hit! This was definitely an extravagance so would most likely come back for a special occasion instead of a regular date night. Either way, we had a great time and will be back in the future.
Overall it was ok. This was my the first visit for a friend and I to STK. We were out for town for the weekend and the restaurant was right next to our hotel. We had reservations at 10pm. We got there close to 9:55pm to check in and were told to be seated as they had not tables available yet. Forty minutes later at 10:40 we were finally seated after I had to ask the hostess the status. As we were seated we quickly glanced at the menu to go ahead and order before our server came. Around 11:30 we notice that tables around us were receiving their food before us and they had been seated after us. The server came to apologize and the manager got involved as they noticed us without food as well. Despite the bad first impression, the management team made it better by providing some extra service towards the end of our visit. Over all it’s a cool place but the service and timing could improve.
Wayyyy overpriced. Had much better food for less. For the amount you pay, the presentation is severely lacking. Good cocktails, nice ambience, mediocre food. Service was good.
Service was very poor the waiter came to our table twice to give drinks and the check. Then the manger zack was very very rude told my guest and I that we could never return. I would love for someone to get in contact with me about this situation thanks
Great spot but expect a big bill
STK stood out among the rest. We were seated right away by the hostess and was immediately followed up with our waiter. He was super attentive and more importantly was attentive to detail. Our water glasses never got empty and plates were cleared at the proper moments. We even got complimentary shots since the Vice President was in town. Our waiter said, these are compliments of Mike Pence. Great sense of humor and fun!
The food was good but it came out cold, service was terrible and they weren’t even busy
No wait service in the bar was not to my liking! Too noisy to have a conversation. Not good for a date but ok for guys or gals night out.
Service and food were great! Loved the music, but very loud. Manager was great and turned it down enough for us to hear each other.
Too expensive for the (average) quality. Main courses delivered while appetizers were still being eaten. Three different people tried to clear plates prematurely. Clearly someone was trying to move us along. Loud and got louder as the night went on. Filet and halibut, our two entrees, were fine, though nothing special.
The food was quite good, however, no one in our group said they would ever go back again because it was so unbelievably noisy. We all had sore throats the following day because we had to shout in order to hear each other over the music. The DJ does a good job with the mix of music, but we felt like we were eating in a nightclub and should have been dancing on the tables based on the noise level. I wound up with a headache as well because it was just too much. Too bad, because it could be a great place. All they’d have to do is turn the back of the restaurant down to low so people could carry on a conversation and leave the bar area out front loud if they want that effect, but as is, it is a miss for all of us. Maybe that’s why it was so empty.....
