Our waiter was the absolute best! He made great suggestions and was friendly and helpful! The best steak!
I was surprised at ‘tempo’ of meal. Everything VERY quick. At this price bracket I would have expected a leisurely social event, not just chow down. Watching all the tables near to us, EVERYONE cranked thru too quickly for my taste.
All of the food was cold when it came out. Both appetizers were cold. We asked for our steak to be well and it came out rare and cold. It was so cold that the butter hadn’t even melted. They took the steak back and came back with another and it was still cold and under cooked. My
Girlfriend had to put several pieces on a plate for them to take back to re cook. My drink was horrible. The steak was amazing just not prepared as I ordered and the wait was very annoying.
Food was perfect!
STK topped off our 1st year anniversary! We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent! They surprised us with a glass of wine and made us feel so special. Waiters that wasn't assigned to our table even stopped by to see if we needed anything. The food was superior and I'm definitely going back on our next trip to Atlanta!
Awesome atmosphere, great food and drinks!!! Lamb chops were made to perfection and the lobster Mac n cheese stole the show! Would definitely look to go back and if not in Atlanta most likely New York!
Didn’t have corona light which was on the menu. Got one glass of Prosecco and asked for a second. Was told they had to go upstairs to get it. 30 minutes later still no Prosecco. Had to switch to another drink. Hostess was very short and curt when we inquired about the status of our table.
We went to Atlanta to celebrate my niece’s new job there and my daughter’s great test score. This was a top quality restaurant with a unique vibe. Food was phenomenal and the service outstanding.
Food was fantastic, atmosphere wonderful, music great! Ally from Michigan was super awesome and helpful with everything!!!
Service was really really slow. They didn’t provide bread for the meal. Took forever to get simple things as well as our entree, our server left us to attend to ‘other things’. Had to ask constantly for assistance, water, cleaning the table and retrieving our bill. For the price we paid for our meal the service was not good at all. We will not be returning in the future.
I made reservations on October 14th for 10:00 pm for four. We arrived at STK a little before 10:00pm, was checked in, then directed to the waiting area, which is where we sat until 10 minutes to 11:00pm. At this time we were able to grab 4 bar stool seats and sat there to eat dinner. We ordered our food and drinks along with our friends. Several bar top tables behind us begin to fill up. Everyone got their food, including our friends and the bar top tables behind us, who had just sat down. They all ate, drunk and left. Me and finance sat waiting for our food which never came . I ask the bartender several times about our food, and was our food order put in. He informed us that the cooks quit. We came in the restaurant at a point when the restaurant was at its peak with people and left at a point where the restaurant was half empty after 12 midnight. I enjoyed my meal but my fiancé lamp chops were over cooked almost burned. We were very dissatisfied with our food experience and the extremely long time it took to receive it.
Large parties are a no took too longgggggggg to serve , put in a quiet back room with no music & vibbbess
Servers were nice food was amazing!
My Birthday dinner
Food was very average
Val was above and beyond amazing!
Food was phenomenal, easily the best steak I’ve ever had. Service left a lot to be desired, and I don’t hold our server accountable. He clearly got inadequate training and was thrown to the wolves. Champagne came before water, flutes arrived after the champagne, steak knives had to be requested, bottle of wine was forgotten completely, no ice baths ever arrived for any of our wine, dessert wasn’t offered… when you have a $800 meal it just feels like these mistakes shouldn’t occur.
Felt over priced for the lack of flavor. From the cocktails to the dry aged steak. Honestly expected more.
We really enjoyed the Date Night menu. Great perk at the fantastic restaurant.
Food was terrible the lamb wasn’t seasoned at all. The drinks were good and our service from Domonique was great but the Mac and cheese was dry like they gave me old Mac and cheese and only gave me about 2 oz of calamari. Was not worth the $300 bill
I booked STK for my birthday dinner because I’ve seen how special it is for others but that wasn’t my experience!
I got no sparklers. Wasn’t offered or asked for dessert. Waitress didn’t say bye. Brought out a card reader for 8 people and took payment one at a time. Asked how much for tip as she stood over. Had an attitude most of the time. Horrible experience besides the guy checking in. He got us the private room and already had decor. Everything else no!
6 of us went for a business meal. Final ticket was $800 after having 1 meal comped (they forgot it). It took them over 2 hours to serve us dinner. Extremely slow. Some of the food was next level, other food was over cooked and disappointing (calimari, 2 steaks). We won’t be going back.
Music too loud to talk.. drinks took way too long every time we tried to order. 5 steaks were ordered and every one was over cooked. They did take a some , but when you go to spend that kind of money on a meal you don’t want money off, you want it right. Too many things wrong or bad.
Service was slow and hard to come by. Food was very slow to be served. Drinks at the table took at least 15-25 minutes to receive. Food was 4 out of 5 stars. Very loud club type of environment and not romantic in in way so ambience is 2 out of 5 stars.
……… Sat down at 8:15pm. Got food at 10:30pm. Instead of discounting the ENTIRE TAB (including alcohol) had to pay for the drinks. Went on a Sunday evening. Horrible experience. Click picture for details….
Good food, good music, good service. All around great experience.
Service was great. Food was good.
Lots of great music.
Great food and service. Loved it! Will highly recommend.
Didn’t even get a chance to sit very disorganized had us waiting over 20 min even with reservations will not be coming back
Everything was 5 STARRRR. Food was amazing. I would recommend to everybody 😝
There was not a long wait for our table, and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the steak & wine combinations. The DJ had the perfect era of music playing all night.
This restaurant was overrated from my experience. The tables were so close together even the smallest person wouldn’t be able to squeeze through without hitting the table next to them. It was more of a quantity over quality with the way they have it. I had the salmon meal with broccolini and I added creamed spinach. My fiancé had the surf and turf with prawns and bacon mac. We also ordered a bottle of Riesling. We flew in from Detroit to come there and the spinach, broccolini, and wine were the only things we were satisfied with. I liked the bread as well. We felt rushed the whole time. Ppl were coming trying to grab stuff off of our table before we finished and most times w/o asking. We would have to say we weren’t finished with it. We’ve been to many steakhouses like Eddie V’s, London chop house, Eddie Merlots, and j. Alexander and by far this was the worse. Especially for $235. It wasn’t an experience like most places of this stature it was more of a nightclub feel. We could’ve had dinner at Puttshack had I known it was like this. Also for the money they charge to add bacon to the Mac it should’ve been added all through it and not just the top like garnish. I still tipped the waitress $65 she was nice. I received a text saying my table was ready and still had to wait to be seated, after our reservation time.
This is a must if you visit Atlanta. Very elegant and the food is delicious. Great customer service!!!
Good food. Great experience. Pricey. Special occasion = worth it
We tried out STK for my husband’s birthday on an attempt to switch it up from our normal steakhouse haunts. While the sides were good, they came out cold. The steaks were overpriced and also were not served so that they remained hot (I.e. on a piping hot plate). They also served our steak pre-sliced which is a tragedy because it accelerates the timeline for eating the steak before it cools/dries out. This place should be a choice (a la Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grille) not a prime steak house. I would not seek it out but if a friend or work was having an event I would go.
My husband and I visited STK for the first time. We didn’t like how all of the booths were so close and faced each other. There was no privacy. I specifically asked our server to bring my salad as an appetizer BEFORE my entree, and asked if there would be bread before our meal. He agreed to both. Our entrees arrived first. When we were halfway finished, our salads arrived, and then we had to ask again for our bread. While salmon wasn’t too bad, it seemed like $40 frozen salon with store bought sauce. And the Caesar dressing wreaked of vinegar. While we were eating, a large party was seated at the table across from us us, and they hovered closely and loudly over our food until they were seated. Then they kept getting up to allow late comers into their booth, and they kept hovering over our table. We rushed through our backwards, over-priced, but mediocre dinner, and then went somewhere nice for dessert and drinks. Overall, it seems like a place for younger adults who want to listen to hip-hop music. It didn’t have the upscale, sophisticated vibe it gives on the website at all.
I came here for my dinner before my commitment ceremony. I was disappointed that people were dressed in tennis shoes and jeans. On the website it stated it was a dress code so I thought it would be fine wearing our evening gowns inside. For the price of the food you would think slacks, dress shoes and button ups would be enforced as a dress code. People were in there looking like they did indeed walk off the streets. I also didn’t like that the bathroom is so small and got crowded easily. I will not be coming bk here for any of my evening dinners again.
Zack was wonderful
