Birthday dinner. The ambiance was great music and food was also great. I was expecting a little more since I reserved as Birthday Dinner. No one wished us happy birthday or anything which is the only negative
Long wait time despite having a reservation. Poor communication via hostess staff.
First off, our server was great. We ordered petite filets. They were cooked improperly, way way over done. Heading to symphony and on a tight schedule, so we did not have time for recook. Manager was kind enough to remove the steaks from check.
If you are a steakhouse, the last thing you should do is overcook the steak. PS one of the pieces presented was horrible looking and served past well, when ordered medium. Very expensive. Room is pretty, but this is not a place I will go again based on first experience.
Overall things went well. However both my wife and I ordered a seafood appetizer. We received our salad, but then we received our entree. Food was delicious. It was quite noisy. Could have used a little less volume on the music.
It was lovely, valet was quick, lighting set the mood. Lab and steak was amazing! Wish yall had the writing on the dessert for the question, besides that everything was great!
I’ve had STK in DC when it was still open so I was familiar with the brand but I brought a girlfriend with me for my birthday on a Friday night who had never been. The reservation was originally for 7:00 but I was able to call and push it up a few so that we could all make it in time. We parked across the street for $10 before noticing that valet was only $5 (so...next time for sure). We were seated almost immediately after sitting down to wait for our table to be ready under a nicely hidden DJ booth in the corner of the bar lobby. The music was great, the energy was fantastic and the food was excellent. We both chose the Caesar salad. I had the Shake Your Honey Maker for a cocktail. I had the 8 oz Wagyu Filet with Alaskan King Crab on top. My friend ordered the 6 oz with the Blue Butter (that I tried and it was EXCELLENT. I’d definitely get that next time). We both ordered a side dish, with me choosing the Creamed Spinach and her choosing the Corn Pudding. Our order ran a little behind but the manager on the floor came over and informed us that our food was coming right out, but that the Alaskan King Crab is cooked to order and that is what was taking a long time. And shortly thereafter, it did come right out.
It was my birthday and I’m so glad that I chose to spend it at STK. Everything was delicious, the service was spectacular and the vibe was amazing. I would definitely come back again.
Amazing. Service Antony went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. He was fabulous! Our meals were delicious and exceeded our expectations.
The music was to loud for conversations but everything else was superb.
We will return .
Dinner at STK is always on the schedule when we visit Atlanta. This time we went twice. The first time, the food was great, service was average. The second time, when we entertained a client, the service was top notch, as was the food.
I love the atmosphere, not your traditional steakhouse. STK is modern and contemporary, with a house DJ and a loud, fun vibe.
My guests have ranged in age from early-20s to early-60s and everyone enjoys it.
Steak was overcook
We have been before as a staple on business trips to Atlanta. This time there seemed to be issues with service as several tables complained. Food was delivered with no plates and in spite of a number of attempts nothing was brought for 15 minutes. They were very apologetic and didn’t charge for the mistake. Typically we would not have returned but the waitress was so sincerely apologetic for the service we will return on our next trip. Great food and atmosphere. Hopefully they learned for the missteps this past visit.
My husband and I made reservations and right after arriving we were seated. The waiter explained if we wanted to get a drink off the Social Hour menu we will have to sit in the bar area, so we moved. Once in the bar area the waitress came and when we attempted to order she rudely said Social Hour is over at 630 we explained the waiter just sent us over and she said no and walked away. She came back 15 min later and said do you still want anything, i said move me back to the regular area because now i’m upset. The new waiter Earl was amazing and offered a complimentary drink to us both but the first impression made the entire overall experience undesirable and I will not return
Slow, not seasoned enough, wrong steak temp
Well yes and no. The atmosphere is great. Our food took forever to come out. I had to remind the waitress several times on our drink and apps. The place was not crowded at all due to the storm. But my overall experience was just okay. For the amount of money we paid I would expect much better birthday dinner. Also I hated how the waitress pass around the check electronically, and we all have to check off what we ordered and then pay. It took forever with a larger party. In my opinion ticket should have been already separated out instead of people searching for 30 mins trying to pay.

This was a team outing for my staff and we enjoyed every minute. Al was our server for dinner and he was exceptional. The social hour bartender was Joe and he was good. We will definitely return again.
The most amazing steak I’ve ever had! Amazing service. The experience was definitely worth the high price! Highly recommend. Also, take the waiter’s recommendations! Everything our waiter recommended was fabulous.
The food was not satisfying and I asked the restaurant to turn on the heat it’s January and it felt like they had the air on 40 degrees inside the restaurant. I literally had my coat on my entire meal due to the freezing temperature.
We sat by the front door and it was super cold. The doorman would hold the door open for long periods of time making it quite uncomfortable. The server was extremely slow with drink service. We had empty water and drink glasses most of the night. the food was good enough but the overall experience was poor. I would not recommend STK to anyone
The food was over priced and not worth it. I was expecting a deliciously prepared, flavorful steak dinner but was served an overcooked, chewy, rubbery, flavorless “steak.” My wife ordered the lamb chops, which too, were overcooked and less than satisfactory. The best part of the meal was the friendly server and the calamari appetizer. I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner, but is a great place for an upscale appetizer before a higher quality dinner somewhere else.

Wannabe fancy restaurant. Food doesn’t match up to price and service was not even near on par. We paid 260 bucks for dinner for two and I feel really ripped off. Dinner took two hours and not because we wanted it to take that long. I expect to be blown away with service when my meal is that expensive...sad we spent our 10 year anniversary here.
My friends and I really enjoyed our time. The ambiance and food were both amazing.

We went New Years Eve...great food, great music, and great atmosphere! After dinner we chilled in the lounge area where they gave us free champagne for the midnight toast. Very good experience and even saw a couple celebs. I would definitely recommend.

Went here for New Years Eve. Everything was delicious from start to finish. We were a group of 4. We got the double tomahawk steak which turned out to be about $60 per person. Otherwise the individual steaks were ~$100+. They pre-sliced it in the kitchen. It was an excellent choice. All of the starters and salads and sides were small. We decided to get 4 sides and were worried about having too much food. It was the perfect amount. We ordered 2 fig salads and 1 order of calamari. For sides we had the mashed potatoes, grits, mushrooms, and mac & cheese. Everything was outstandingly awesome. Our waitress was very helpful in choosing the food. For desert my husband and I had the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. It was perfect for 2 and perfectly warm and delicious. My parents had the chocolate cake. I thought it was good, but I was enjoying my cookie too much. They loved it. The only thing to note is that this is not a quiet atmosphere. We were there at 6 pm, which was much earlier than the dancing. Also, the tables are my candlelight. We had to use the flashlights on our phones. But that was just a minor inconvenience.
New Year’s Eve dinner
Had a great experience dining at STK with my significant other for our anniversary and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Staff was very attentive and courteous. Food was excellent, cooked to perfection. Ambiance was lively with a great music selection, but warm and intimate at the same time. Would definitely recommend to others for any occasion.
It was a decent steak house but does not even come close to steakhouses in NY and Chicago. Food was over salted. And note to chef: the chicken with root vegetables was served with cauliflower, yellow zucchini and string beans. Not sure in what school of culinary thought these qualify as root cafe tables but where I come from they are usually things that grow underground like parsnips, turnips, carrots, rutabaga, potatoes, onions and so on. So this was disappointing. But other that that it was ok
I am consistently amazed at the quality of food, service and atmosphere! DA and the team are amazing! I have been dining there for over 8 years and will continue to dine there! DA - great job to you and your team!
Had a fabulous dinner
STK, in Atlanta, is lackluster and disorganized. The ambiance is neat and appropriate. The decor is a bit common and lacks any true quality (more people were taking pics in front of the STK sign than at their table). Those two features are palatable; however, the rest is not. The staff have not been trained effectively to work in a 75 dollar-a-plate "steakhouse". They do not know their roles and do not understand the importance of how a 300 dollar dinner evening is impacted by the lack of knowledge and professionalism that is created by the staff. The waiter was unsure of the order once it was taken, so they returned to ask again. That would have been fine, but the steak arrived med-well instead of med-rare. The wait-staff delivered bread to the table. The designated dish/plate remover of the wait-staff was picking up the bread 15 mins later. I had to inform them that I was still eating it. In that same vein, the remover came to take my drink which was not finished. Then came to take my plate, which was finished, but since my guest had not finished their food it was a bit disconcerting to have an empty space while they dine alone. And lastly, there is the Chili's or Red Robin checkout tablet. A tablet is wonderful for families with kids that want to get out as soon as possible. Or for teenagers that do not care about interactions or about the food experience since it would be a 20 dollar lunch or dinner. To have a tablet for a steakhouse is unacceptable. There is no way to have a pleasant experience by going through menu prompts to run your credit card. If there is a problem, one has to now try and fine the human that should have taken the card in the first place. To make matters worse, the tablet does not provide a receipt and wouldn't know it, the restaurant that invested in it did not pay enough for the feature that provides a print out of the bill. That is pathetic. Perhaps STK can reinvent itself as the upscale Steak'n Shake.
Greet time was 25 minutes from the time we sat down. The manager made a mistake and came to our table talking about wine, but the discussion was for the table next to us. Our 3 drinks took over 30 minutes after he took the order. The server was great and handled the mistakes well. We just expected more from a 5🌟

Food was much better than previously for me. I have food allergies and was able to get things prepared exactly as I needed them. Once again, though, lackluster and aloof waitstaff. More attentive for sure this time, but just kind of flat service.
I ordered a $15.00 cocktail that was horrible. I sent it back only to get one more horrible than the first. I couldn't drink it. I ordered the roasted chicken, yukon potatoes and mac n cheese whick cost me $70.00 alone and lets just say, I've had better meals for less. I will not visit again.
This was our first time dining at STK. We all agreed we would most definitely return again very soon. We thought the service was excellent. Our server Alex was very pleasant and impressed us with his knowledge of the various selections on the menu. The dipping sauce for the bread served while we waited for our appetizers was a nice surprise. The steaks were cooked just right. I had ordered the peppercorn coating on my NY Strip...delicious! We all shared the cheesecake, chocolate cake and chocolate cookie for desert. Once again, very good.
I normally do not write reviews, but felt that our experience was so pleasant that STK deserves the recognition.
