STIRR Fort Worth
This is my new favorite restaurant on Crockett Row.
Food is great! Love the fried calamari. The Old Fashions are amazing.
Bar tenders are friendly and make great drinks.
Love the bar and all the TVs.
I’ve been there 5 times since they opened and haven’t had a bad meal yet!
Our drinks were so so, wish our waiter had told us about the drinks specials! The manager gave us a sample and we would have definitely ordered on of those instead! The food was not very warm, but had a good flavor. The corn and potatoes were great. For the price we won’t be going back!
Everything was great except it definitely says 3 biscuits on the menu for chicken and biscuits and everyone only had 2. Food did take a LONG time. I know we were a big top but still, it wasn't super crowded.
Our server, Nina, was great. We live just across the street so we had high hopes to have a nice go-to restaurant/bar from now on and STIRR did not disappoint!
Great overall experience!
Made reservation for dinner celebration with my husband. Waited 10 minutes for table upon arrival, were seated and waited 10 minutes for server. I finally stopped a server that poured water for us. She went to get our server. 5 minutes later, no server and the one I had stopped came by again, at which point, I asked to speak with the manager. 5 minutes later I saw the same server and asked if manager OR the server designated to our table were coming and she said she couldn’t find the manager.
My husband and I left after being in the restaurant for over thirty minutes, half of which was while we were seated at our table and had been provided with ZERO service.
I will not return. I let the server know that I would post this review on social media. I have not. Hopefully others are not having the experience that we did. Absolutely terrible!!!
We went here for our anniversary. It was fun and the food was great. I ordered the funky town chicken...delicious. My hubs had the quail and I had red fish, both were really good. The s’mores tower was sooo good too for dessert!!! The only complaint I have was we were by the window and it was a bit drafty other than that everything was great. We will definitely be returning.
STIRR Fort Worth is an amazing and unique addition to the city's restaurant options. The decor is gorgeous and the food is delicious and top notch!! Vibrant atmosphere, beautiful bar and tons of TV makes it a great place to happy hour or watch sports!
The menu was creative, food tasted good. Waited 30 minutes for two cocktails. Cocktail had to be sent back as it wasn’t correct. Then, had to wait a long time for our food. Good news, it wasn’t very crowded. Probably just day 2 kinks to work out. Other than the awkward waiting, good experience. The restaurant looks beautiful.
Second time there. Had planned not to write the review for the first time when our order didn’t make it to the kitchen then only 1/2 of it came out in an hour....BUT this time we had our reservation for brunch at 1:30. Immediately put in the mimosa pitcher order in. That took about 25 minutes to arrive. Placed food order around 1:50pm. Didn’t get ANY food until 3pm. The manager discounted the bill but here’s the deal. I WANT to pay for my food. I just want to have a good experience and not feel like I’m starving waiting over an hour to get it! First time, coughed that up to just opening a week before. Second time, just made me not want to come a third time.
Dtr birthday was wonderful!!!
Yes, for Happy Hour/drinks/appetizers, food was cold, desert was okay
Arrived with a reservation and little wait, so that was nice. The bar area is very loud and a little more bearable at table service. Waiter did a good job but kitchen was very slow. Waited for 45 minutes for our food, as did a large party next to us. DH ordered the most expensive steak, presentation was dramatic with a huge cleaver, but said it was just ok. My scallops were good but under-seasoned. We probably won’t be back as it wasn’t our typical scene (too trendy), kitchen backlog was terrible, and the food was just ok.
We got sat directly next to a speaker for their stereo system. Our food took over an hour to come out even though they weren’t that busy and the food was not great. Then they canceled my reservation even though I arrived on time so I had to submit a claim to get my points.
The food is horrible!!! Service was okay.
The place was so loud you can’t have a decent conversation. It was definitely not a place I would go to enjoy good food. A waste of money.
I asked if we can be moved and the lady I spoke to never got back with us.
Never going back!!!!!
Service was excellent. Quality of food was very good and quantity was excellent. Only negative was noise level.
Super friendly and attentive staff.
Out of the wine we picked
Reddish so fishy
Server had zero knowledge of wines or serving
Almost dropped the bottle
Chicken parm was aweful
We just wanted to lay and leave
Everything was perfect. Love the half price happy hour drinks. We will return with friends.
We had hope for this restaurant because we absolutely LOVE the Dallas location. We waited 10 minutes for our server to show up. Meanwhile, other servers were standing around and laughing to each other.
We ordered onion rings and volcano shrimp for the table. They were good but nothing special. I ordered chicken parmesan. They ran out of tortellini that comes with the dish and asked if I would like pasta instead. Okay. I’m not a picky eater. The pasta never came. The server never apologized.
We left highly disappointed. I’m not a cheap person when it comes to food, but it was a HIGHLY overpriced dinner for the food and service we received.
Brisket tacos to start were amazing. We got a Gemini drink (very good) and some sort of blackberry smash drink (mediocre). Wife ordered the steakhouse salad which was good, and i ordered the Bacon Lucy Burger with the waffle fries along with a side of mac n cheese. The waffle fries were topped with I believe a Gorgonzola cheese...whatever the cheese was, they were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. Burger was good too, but I found out several bites in that it was still raw in the middle. Restaurant just opened though so I understand they’re still working out the kinks, and the manager addresses it immediately and had another one made. Wife had a Thyme for a Change cocktail, which was well balanced and tasty. I also had an old fashioned; one of the best Old Fashioned’s I’ve drank in DFW. I was stuffed by the time I got to the Mac N Cheese but it was rich and made with sharp cheddar. Really enjoyed the couple bites I could fit into my stomach.
We loved this location when it was Kona, but we like it as Stirr even more. Will definitely be back.
TL;DR: brisket tacos, drinks (Gemini, Old Fashioned, Thyme For A Change), Bacon Lucy Burger with waffle fries, Steakhouse Salad, and Mac N Cheese were all great. Will be back.
This was opening day and the service was great. Our waitress was already familiar with the menu and we had several managers stop by to offer us information the restaurant itself and daily specials that may suit us. I would highly recommend.
Amazing new restaurant in FW. We will be back soon.
