Stir - Raleigh
Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.
STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation.
The result is a categorically elevated cocktail. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.
We welcome Raleigh to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood from the cold bar, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

The meal was great - as was the service. Shera (sp) was so much fun to have as a server. She made our dinner so much fun! And she was helpful with our selections of food and drink. I will be back for that seared Tuna salad!
Love it at stir, wish it was a bit more quiet. The menu needs to be updated online m.
Amazing service!!! Great food and drinks! Definitely recommend!
Food was really good, but our server was great 😀
I’ve been for brunch a couple times now and it’s been great! The chicken and waffles are my favorite!
Food was slow and salad had jalepenos when is should not have...manager was great and comped the mistake
Exceptional service. Interesting and delicious food. Wonderful quiet, yet energetic vibe. Tables adequately spaced.
Plan to go again soon to try other menu options that looked appetizing.
I ordered the sesame shoyu bowl and it was awful. I’ve never had this salty food in my whole life and it gave me a terrible headache the next day. The beef was chewy and I had to spit every single piece out. The rice was soaked in salt and everything tastes terrible. My husband ordered the Steak goat cheese entre and it’s definitely not worth the $35 they charge there. We had much better but similar food at a more reasonable price. The food took a long time to come and we were not happy with the wait. I don’t recommend this place and we won’t go there again.
Food was exceptional along with the cocktails and wait staff. Our waiter was very knowledgeable with the dishes and and cocktail questions we had. Great atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!
This place is a little overrated. The food was mediocre. The service was great, nice atmosphere. Probably would not go back.
Brunch at stir was absolutely amazing. I definitely recommend the chicken and waffles, they were DELICIOUS!!! The $5 mimosa was also very good! Everyone from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left were absolutely amazing!
Good sized menu, ordered hummus plate which was good, not great, hummus was a bit bland, poke bowl with tuna for dinner. Pricey considering there was not much to it... left me a bit uninspired, would go back again but can,t say i raved about the food.
Great experience, really good food
After I figured out how to park my car (hint: use the valet out front next to the Capital City Chop House...parking at North Hills on this side of Six Forks is a bit of a nightmare), it was a very nice evening! Our server, Taria, was friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambience was fun. My friend and I both love oysters, and we thoroughly enjoyed our oyster appetizer. We both ordered the Shrimp Louie salad. The salad was okay, but a little light on the shrimp and other interesting toppings, and so it was not a particularly satisfying meal. I would not order this again. It was a really cold evening, and people kept leaving through a side door near our table (which made it really cold). On cold nights, I might have the restaurant ask people to use the front door, only. Overall, it was a fun evening out, and I will return!
Very good Sunday brunch! Not many people, nice and quiet
We had brunch and it was great. Loved the chicken salad and pita bread we started with. The crab and shrimp Benedict was delicious, as was the chicken and waffles. Can’t go wrong with $5 mimosas! Our server was very friendly and attentive, as well.
Went for Sunday brunch and had a good time. They were out of a lot of things so I couldn’t get the drinks or food I wanted but what we did order was good. Service was overall good but our server got busy a couple of times and we waited a while to order and refills. It’s the world we live in today.
Good vibe and atmosphere. Location is great to keep the party going.
My server was wonderful he was very attentive to our needs and when I visit again I will make sure I come and see him.
Excellent dinner! The oyster (both house and Virginia) were fresh, briny and delicious. We will return.
Didn’t even acknowledge my birthday took a longtime for food and drinks
Brunch menu is creative. Food was fresh and tasty but it wasn’t very hot when it got to the table. The Restaurant has a great vibe. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner as well.
I had the chicken samosas and truffle fries and the shrimp and grits. It was all delicious. Very attentive service . Lively atmosphere . Wonderful evening
Ambiance, service & craft cocktails were fantastic. Would recommend for oyster & seafood lovers. We had the Peruvian ceviche & crab bisque and they were both delicious. The entree selection was just ok. I had the filet with roasted veggies (they were a bit soggy, maybe steamed, not roasted?) and potatoes. The filet was just a tad overcooked and the presentation & sides lacked imagination. My date had the truffle fries and they were delicious. The sirloin again was just ok, nothing special. Both dessert options (green tea cheese cake & flourless chocolate) were tasty.
Corey is great - he was very courteous and accommodated my needs for my party. STIR, Corey is a keeper and adds such value to your establishment !
Hughes was our server and he did an awesome job. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made our first experience at Stir worthwhile. We’ll definitely be back.
Great experience! Definitely going back
Nice place. Good cocktails. Food pretty good
Overall will return
It was the service for me. Jala was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!
she was attentive, gave excellent recommendations to us as first timers, and really made us feel valued and appreciated.
Plus the oysters were DELICIOUS!
I will be back to sit in Jala's section
Both my fiancé and I ordered filet entrees, we were surprised on how quickly they were able to bring out the meal as well as cooking the steaks to our likings (med-rare). Service was great—from the hostess to the waitress. More than accommodating as we noticed they dimmed the lights for a more intimate setting for our seating area. All around great place; we will be back to try more! Thank you!
Our waiter was amazing! He went out of his way to make me feel special during my birthday and made great suggestions for my mom and I when we were unsure of what to order.
Maybe it's the pandemic but the Charlotte location was better. At the Raleigh location, the presentation was lacking. The food was good but salty & they need to change the fryer grease. The potatoes came out dark for 4 different orders.
Waitress was friendly endnote overbearing. Food was served in timely manner, good taste and value. Nice atmosphere.
Second time at STIR, this time for brunch. Delicious, flavorful & quickly becoming my fav. restaurant in Raleigh.
Food was amazing and Tarryn was great! She checked in on us often and made sure we were all set. We will definitely be back.
Service was awesome. Cocktails were unique. Fried green tomatoes and filet with goat cheese ravioli were hits. The only disappointment was the crispy Mahi Mahi bowl. Sounds interesting on menu, not executed well.
