STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

Interesting restaurant that is nicely decorated and then it's all downhill from there. Parking is a problem, and we had to park across the street in a lot with 2 hours minimum and a $15.99 minimum charge. The Cheeseburger Eggrolls were delicious, and we should have stopped there. I had the Chicken Piccata, and my wife had the Halibut Piccata. My chicken piccata had no flavor, nothing. I tend to eat bland foods, but this had no flavor at all. I would have rather had Chick Filet, and I don't like Chick Filet. My wife rarely complains about her food, probably because she doesn't pay for it, but she said the Halibut wasn't bad but wasn't good either. Our waitress was Kaylee C and seemed as if she didn't want to be there, and most of the time she wasn't. I was drinking water, as I wasn't afforded the opportunity to purchase a glass of wine, and with about 1/4 of the bottle left, it disappeared. I guess someone needed it worse than I did. I was considering dessert, but the check was deposited on the table, so I guess it was time for us to go. It's hard to find good restaurants in Knoxville but there are a few, but this isn't one of them. The food is overpriced, and tasteless, and the service is bad enough they should consider putting in a buffet instead of table service. The parking is a rip-off to add salt to the wound. It's extremely loud in the restaurant as well. Unless you're prepared to shout at one another or are an accomplished lip reader, you can forget about having a conversation. There are better options. I'd recommend Chick Filet or McDonalds before you decide to dine at Stir.

The live music was extremely loud. Hard to talk to each other and the server. On a Sunday morning, I would suggest not having a live musician.

We enjoyed our meal and the service. It’s a trendy location with parking nearby. The only negative was the amount of gnats flying around.

From cocktails to main course everything was absolutely delicious! Perfect place for a date night in downtown Knoxville.

Overall, a great experience dining at STIR! We were seated upon arrival and received good service. The crispy mahi over rice and the seared tuna salad were delicious! Definitely a place I would second.

4 of us trying out this restaurant for the first time. Very good food, good atmosphere and good service. Mahi, halibut, steak burger and lobster/shrimp mac n cheese were great. Chocolate cake and creme brulee were delicious.

Love it! The drinks are good. The appetizers are good. It’s the only place I order a filet. Yummy…we love this place.

This is a cute little spot with amazing cocktails and a fun menu with a lot of variety. The service was wonderful. My only complaint was I had higher expectations for the oysters Rockefeller. They arrived with the toppings kind of luke warm and some shavings of (unmelted) cheese on top whereas I prefer them straight out of the boiler with the cheese melted. Other than that this is a solid destination - we’ll definitely be back.

First time there. Food was good. Our food came out before our drinks. Salads were large enough for two people to share. Appetizers were pretty large and shareable. I'd go back.
