STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

    Mine and my brother in law’s meals were very good. He said the lobster Mac and cheese was the best he had ever had. My wife did not enjoy her meal as much. The service was very good and the drinks were wonderful.

    Food and service was not good. We happened to do a poll around our table of 6 rating stir from 1-10, how good was this experience including food, service, and overall experience, and the average was a 5. I personally gave it a 4. The Parmesan truffle fries seemed burnt and lacked any type of flavor. The salmon was cooked great but the "roasted vegetables" that included carrots, one slice of onion and 75% barely was awful. I think i received better service at midnight diner.

    Everything that came out was very tasty however I could tell my steak was from the night before and was cold. But I still devoured it....lol
