STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

    Disappointing. My wife and I went here for the first time on a special night hoping to celebrate. The reviews highlighted their wonderful cocktail menu so we were excited. Our waitress was excited to tell us about their amazing drink selection and highlight all of the ways they do ice. My wife ordered an extra dirty Hendricks martini and asked if they had blue cheese stuffed olives; which they did not. No problem, regular olives will do. I ordered a whisky bramble off the menu which sounded delicious. Her drink was mostly juice in her opinion and she could not taste the gin. My drink was mostly ice, although the actual drink was very good once I scooped out a ton of ice. We ordered the tuna bites for appetizer and was told they were out of it so we settled on our second option, the cheese burger egg rolls. They were very good. We started asking questions about the dinner menu and then found out they were not out of tuna, as indicated from the appetizer order, but they were out of rice. Unfortunately both of our desired entrees contained rice. So after some contemplating, we cut our losses and requested the check. They did validate our parking in the deck; that was a bonus. We moved to the Italian restaurant next door and had a wonderful rest of the evening.

    Had an amazing time at STIR. The staff was attentive, atmosphere great, and the food was well prepared. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and ambiance in the Charlotte area!

    The food was really good especially the fish tacos and chicken lettuce wraps. Service was a little slow but not horrible. Will definitely go again!

    wish I’d have chosen another place. A few of our chargrilled oysefers were extremely tiny, the cheeseburger rolls were lukewarm, and my friends sheimp and grits were swimming the gravy…it was beyond excessive and made it unenjoyable. She didn’t want to say anything to the waitress about it so she kept the dish. The waitress took extremely long to get us checked out at the end and wasted a lot of our time. She just disappeared for awhile.

    Great seafood salad with shrimp and lobster. It was very light and refreshing with the citrus vinaigrette dressing. My husband very much enjoyed his steak burger. Terrific service by our waitress Miami.
