STIR is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a night out, host clients, or sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters. Located in South End, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Our cold bar and kitchen offers fresh oysters from North Carolina and beyond, traditional Mexican and Peruvian ceviche, and classic entrees and specials, all prepared from scratch.

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.

We welcome Charlotte to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Service was excellent, had to send the wine back, as it was warm and had turned. The second glass was perfect, food was good. The atmosphere was lively.

Had a bit of a hiccup regarding our order but the server Chelsea A and Manager went above and beyond to make it right. My husband and were celebrating our wedding anniversary on a Monday night, and very rarely treat ourselves to a nice dinner out these days, so what could have put a huge damper on the night out was made right which we greatly appreciated!

I love to have brunch at STIR, and I have been coming to have brunch every Sunday for the past month now. Each time I came in everything was great! But the last time wasn’t so great. The food took awhile to come out, which caused a few things to be cold. It took 3 times for the kitchen to correctly cook scrambled well eggs, because they usually come out runny. If a turkey breakfast meat option was available on the menu it would actually be even better.

The aesthetic is really great for content creators. The vibes were flowing for Sunday brunch. The food and drinks were very good. Our server continuously checked in with us to make sure that were taken care of.

Food and service was good as always. Only complaint is that it was hot in the restaurant. It felt like no air was circulating.

The server rushed us through dinner. We were clearly her last table at 7pm and it made things awkward between me and the person I was having dinner with. Definitely a BAD experience and kind of embarrassing because I was bragging on stir prior 😖

The server was great, but apparently the restaurant was shortstaffed. The drinks took an eternity, in fact we were about to pay out without having received one of our orders right as the server arrived with them. Also, the cocktails were not good. The espresso martini was so sweet I had to water it down with ice cubes. The tequila cocktail, when it finally arrived before we left, was terrible. The house raw oysters were good. Glad we tried it, but for us, no reason to return.
