Excellent food. We had sea scallops and swordfish and cooked perfectly! Our server was awesome!
Recommend making a reservation for weekend evenings. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We were disappointed with our experience though as we waited approx. 1 h our for our meals and one came missing one of the sides. Food was very good though and will return again hoping this was an isolated incident. We were planning on staying for dessert but due to the extremely long wait for our order to be completed we had to leave as we had theater tickets.
Dinner was very nice except for the noisy group of children seated near us. Parents were at a different table and these tweens were quite noisy. Otherwise it was a nice after theatre dinner.
Prime rib was like rubber
Filet was well and medium rare was ordered
The food and service were great as always.
Nice dinner for family. Food was very good and waitstaff was very friendly.
In for a MSU. football game. Close to our hotel. Good dining experience.
my steak tips were about half the group full of gristle and fat
We have always experienced great food and service at Stillwater's. It is our go to place for a nice Friday night dinner. We've never had a bad steak there.
Steak tips are good. Most dishes pricy for what you get. Chicken pasta dishes are nothing special.
Nicolette was a great server. She was attentive and got everything right without being annoying or intrusive.
Steak tips are great. The ribs are very spicy. Food is overall very good. Enjoy an occasional meal here on special occasions.
Not worth it for the inflated prices. Nothing special about the food, and the idea that a simple dinner for two with only a glass of wine between us would add up to $81? In Lansing? No thanks. It was a $30 experience,
First time here.
Great experience, food was delicious. Thanks to our server Alisha. Will be back. The Anniversary couple.
We chose Stillwater in Okemos because we like the Brighton location and had tickets for Wharton Center, so this put us 10 minutes away. We allowed an hour and a half for dinner and needed every minute - service was very slow! Food was delicious. We sat outside because it was quieter, however the patio furniture was quite uncomfortable.
Awesome menu, great service and great atmosphere
Food was average; not worth prices charged. Service was a bit awkward and at or below average given there were almost no diners at 6:30 on a Sunday.
Service was excellent but our food was undercooked
The meal and service was excellent. Highly recommend them.
One of my favorite places in the Okemos and East Lansing area.
The service was excellent. We really liked our waitress. The cajun tenderloin tips were good. The spicy calamari was good, but could have been warmer.
Wrong food was brought, had to ask for water repeatedly, order s time that didn’t show. Table. Ext to us was a loud group of 10 and we faced the kitchen.
I went for Mother's Day brunch and ordered the chicken and waffles. The hash browns that came with the meal were burned and my son's hash browns were also burned. The chicken and waffles itself were good.
I really like this place, except for the food. We have been there twice, once for Easter and again for Mother’s Day. The feel of this place is nice, upscale enough but casual comfortable. The staff is great, and our server Miranda was terrific. The designer cocktails are pricey but interesting and tasty.
But it’s a restaurant so the food must deliver. It doesn’t. It’s too bland and the portions too small. We have ordered from the menu and the special occasion offerings and it just doesn’t make the grade. They advertise that there is a chef, but no good chef would serve that food. It feels more like short-order quality, think Big Boy or Bob Evans. No offense to either, just trying to make an understandable comparison.
I hope Stillwater can get it together. They have a lot of good parts in place and it would be a shame to squander them.
The food and the service at Stillwater were both top notch. I always enjoy din ing there.
Salad missed from order, felt rushed, brought bill before we were done eating, never asked if we wanted dessert, food bland
Excellent service, everyone enjoyed their meals (7 of us). Waitstaff was attentive. Would definitely dine there again.
I came here after my college graduation and was not overly impressed. I wanted a formal dining experience with upscale cuisine and would have been alright with the food's prices had their quality been up to their cost. I had coconut shrimp and the shrimp seemed to be overcooked and I was not a big fan of the sauce that accompanied it. I did like the atmosphere though, so there is hope for the future.
Really enjoyed utilizing the tablet menus - how fun!
Great for Lunch
Favorite spot for a business lunch with our MI field team!!
Loved this place
1st time here, Salmon was AMAZING!!!
Service was on thier game!
We had a great experience. The food, service and atmosphere were all way above average! I recommend trying this restaurant.
Our server on Friday night was amazing! Great service!
This was the first time at Stillwater Grill and I was very happy with the service, food and environment! I will certainly recommend this restaurant to friends and family! Thank you Stillwater Grill!!
The waitstaff were great. Very engaging. Great food selection.
Ordered the Ribeye, rare and was disappointed that it came out what I would call medium and was overly fatty. Have better places to spend $100 for a meal.
Food was very nice. We thought the place expensive compared to other restaurants with similar menus. Service was good.
Very crowded and noisy. Took a long time to get our food but it was very good once it finally arrived. We did have a reservation
Recently, there seems to have been a great amount of turnover in staff which makes me wonder about management and their ability to maintain employees. Stillwater used to offer coupons but no longer does so, which is disappointing. Their waitstaff could also be more attentive at the bar. This is a local place that is close to home, which makes it easy to frequent, so overall it is acceptable. They are busy all the time, however, they could be a little more generous with their serving sizes.
Went for Dinner, good food, nice atmosphere, good service.
