Welcome to The Stile Bridge, we have recently re-opened under new ownership and management following our sister restaurant "The Poet at Matfield".
We serve food lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, serving drinks & Bar snacks all day.
We source all our produce locally, finding inspiration from South America, Asia, South Africa and Europe to bring together a "New World" menu with Wines from across the earth to compliment your meal.

    Sunday roast is excellent, staff attentive but not intrusive, comfortable surroundings. Chef is outstanding and Gregg (front of house) is great. All is perfect - booking essential.

    Had a fantastic meal last Friday I had Quail to start and Lobster Ravioli which which was delicious. My partner had Tuna To start and Romney Marsh Lamb cooked three ways again delicious. We also followed the pairing wines recommended for each course again perfect. All in all a five star experience. Highly recommended and compliments to the Chef. I also had a very good Expresso martini made perfectly.

    Excellent food & Service but please give this pub some tlc - it looks v unloved. I’m no hospitality expert but kerb appeal it does not have - which is such a shame. Food & Service excellent we will return

    We had an amazing meal here for our first wedding anniversary. They certainly know what they’re doing with the menu, everything we had was sooo delicious!! It’s a lovely atmosphere with very friendly and attentive service. Thank you for making our experience special, we will be back!

    Our lunch on Saturday was excellent. We had small plates from the menu with sides - they all looked perfect and were very tasty. The chef here is outstanding. I thoroughly recommend The Stile Bridge - it has a nice atmosphere, the decor is welcoming and the staff are great.

    What a gem! Great food and fantastic service (informal but attentive). It’s not cheap, but it’s very fair value for the quality and portion size. I just wish I lived closer so I could frequent it!
