The food was amazing, although on the pricier end. The food took a bit longer to come out, but that's okay. We had time to kill, and it was a busy Friday nigh so we didn't mind waiting a bit longer. Overall, it was a very good experience and will definitely come back!
Great service and great food = a wonderful evening out.
Went with a group of friends. We were greeted with a smile. Our server was great. The food was good. One item I found a little too salty. Sushi 🍣 was excellent. I have to say, the spicy fried chicken is like no other I've ever had, finger-licking good!
A bit pricey for what you get but food, atmosphere and service were great!
Amazing food - amazing service - best dining experience in Saskatoon I can remember - highly recommend.
Active, close, loud venue. Great drink menu. Food menu rather limited I.e. Ramens are all pork broth with pork belly. Marinated chicken thigh dish never mentioned it was deep fried!-assumed it would be grilled, pretty disappointing. Menu needs better explanation in print or by staff. Turn music down.
Sticks and Stones is one of my favourite places in Saskatoon. The food is yummy (that spicy fried chicken is incredibly finger licking good - make sure to get an extra wet nap and the steam buns are delicious - I had the mushroom) and the ambiance is great too. I love going here for special dinners out on my own and feel totally comfort hanging out at the bar and watching the fab bartender make some fancy cocktails. Their old fashioned is very yummy too.
Excellent service, food and craft cocktails. Music is a bit loud, fantastic atmosphere.
Lovely meal! Family and friends together during the holiday season. Finished every last crumb!!
We had a great meal! I wish the server would have been a little quicker with taking drink orders. We would have enjoyed more cocktails with our drinks if she had given us the chance. Good was great, atmosphere was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
Absolutely amazing food. The sushi rolls were a little expensive for what it was, but the rest of the dishes (mostly korean) our party ordered, were worth every penny.
Really great spot and was really happy we decided to try this restaurant out.
Always great food and amazing service!
This is a very consistent high quality restaurant with great service and food
Delicious. We couldn't stop ordering more and more food!
Delicious food, wonderful service. Always look forward to eating at sticks n stones!
If you live in Saskatoon, or are visiting the city, you are doing yourself a disservice by not coming here. The food here was amazing and the smaller portions gave us the opportunity to sample multiple items.
Fantastic food, great service.
I was very disappointed. The food was average and the price was a little much for what you get. It was not what I expected and I would not come back.
Visited saskatoon from Regina for a day away from home and had such a lovely evening at Sticks and stones! Great atmosphere and amazing service! our food was tasty. was hoping the bibimbap was a little bigger for the price as I’ve had bibimbap in a much bigger quantity at that price. It felt like a small kid sized bibimbap rather than a regular adult size. Bibimbap is my favourite and it was a bit disappointing as far as the size. Despite that, The Ramen was exquisite! And the drink options were amazing! Would definitely come back again!
We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were seated promptly and the server greeted us quickly. She took drink and food orders and what seemed like 5 minutes later our food showed up! We ordered the tuna tataki, pork belly steam buns, bulgogi steam buns, crispy scallop roll, kimchi fried rice and chicken karaage. Our favourites were the tuna tataki and bulgogi steam buns. Everything was so delicious. I tried the drink special, pineapple daiquiri, and it was so good I ordered a second one. Definitely one of our favourite Saskatoon restaurants.
Highly recommend! Great food and great service! Can’t wait to go back!
Food tasted good, but the portion size vs price was wacky.
Also the spacing of tables was terrible during a pandemic. I don't want to sit that close to some stranger coughing all over the place.
Service was good though, very personable and had good suggestions.
Great service and thanks for easily accommodating gluten free. Server was well informed and helpful. Food and cocktails great.
Food and service were both amazing. Would highly recommend sticks and stones to anyone.
Love this place! Service could have been quicker but minor and did not change our amazing experience!
Always great !
The food, drinks, service and music make this one of my happy places for sure.
Food was absolutely delicious, love the twist on the classic cocktails and the detail that goes into making them. We had a view of the bar and could see the bartender making them. Only two negatives 1) The tables are quite close together, our server kept bumping into tables when she would come and stand in between two tables to talk to the patrons. We felt like we were sitting with the people that sat beside us even though we were at our own table. 2) The music is way too LOUD. We found it hard to have a conversation over dinner because of it. The actual music play list was fantastic. Even with the couple of negatives I listed above we still plan to come and dine here again.
This restaurant was very packed with people. Tables had no room between. We planned on eating in but felt with Covid it was very unsafe. Every table was full
Food was excellent, first visit so stuck with the sushi. Will be more adventurous next time. Found it noisy, hard to have a conversation. We were sitting by a loud table. Will definetly go again. This was our 4 Th grassroots restaurant.
Great service, food was very good, always enjoy Sticks & Stones
The steam buns and sushi rolls were excellent. However, I was very disappointed in the ramen. The noodles were overcooked and the broth wasn't that good. We couldn't finish our ramen. I've lived for years in Japan and have found comparable ramen in Canada but this was sure disappointing. Would not recommend it.
We haven’t “dined in” for months so we decided to celebrate a birthday by going to one of our favourite restaurants for an Asian treat.
Food was AMAZING! Service from Aeriel (sp?) was attentive and professional . We asked her to pace our meal so we weren’t rushed and she timed it beautifully
The menu is smaller than before but seriously, we thought it just allows the kitchen to do what they do, exceptionally well. All of our favourites were there plus a tempura prawn dish which we didn’t recognize from before but was my absolute favourite of the night.
COVID cleaning, masks etc were observed although our table felt a little too close to our neighbours’ but we didn’t request a move, which we probably should have. Our bad…
We would highly recommend Sticks and Stones! Can’t wait to go back.
Love this place. Always a great atmosphere, servers are helpful and fun, and the food is amazing. Haven’t had a bad experience here yet and don’t think I ever will.
Great service, yummy food and overall really nice place. Will definitely be back
Great service! Delicious food. A little close for comfort with other patrons considering COVID cases still being quite high. Perhaps hard to accommodate with such a small venue.
Food was delicious..however the sushi was pricey for what you get.
