Sticks and Stones
It was tight
Oh soooo good. Korean chilli paste is so damn delicious! Perfect food, incredibly friendly staff, and the atmosphere creates Comradery with neighbouring tables, esp when you want to know what delicious meal they’re eating!
My table was 18 inches from a table on either side of me, so not only could I hear the other table’s conversations, but when the server came to their tables, she was always hovering around in my personal space. Too many tables in too tight a space.
The food is always amazing with portions that are the perfect size.
The service is always amazing - not overbearing but you're always taken care of and the staff is always very friendly.
The cocktails are a little pricey but absolutely worth it.
Sticks and Stones is probably my favourite restaurant in the city with consistent quality every time you go.
Our server was delightful, and knowledgeable. Definitely will return
Absolutely awesome service and food
Say yes to grilled squid & scallop & roe sushi. Delicious. Everything was great--we always have the pork belly steamed buns. So good. Missed M.S. mixing our cocktails -- where ARE you? If you could just turn down the tunes a bit -- hate listening to everyone's yelled convos. Love the food.
Their food like half size of the regular size, and it tooooooo salty.
Food was fabulous, the serving staff was excellent.
The omakase sashimi was changed from many different types of fish to just salmon, tuna, one piece of salmon belly, and octopus - does not excite the taste buds. I was looking forward to the different pieces that they used to offer (ie mackerel). The sushi rolls were small, and for the price I would go to the new ramen and chicken restaurant in Stonebridge for the aburi sushi, or someplace that is dedicated to sushi like sushi Raku. The kalbi beef was lacking in flavour and the lettuce pieces are too tiny to wrap your beef in. I guess overall, food was disappointing but the service was great!!
Our favourite restaurant. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars this time is that the food delivery was rushed! We got all our choices at once instead of the thoughtful service we're used to. By the time we were done our "starters" the plates weren't warm anymore. Hope this was just a blip and not a change in service. The food was still tasty.
Amazing food! Korean Fried Chicken is absolutely incredible! Always great service here. Highly recommend Sticks and Stones!
Currently this has got to be one of the best restaurants in Saskatoon. Everything is done to an amazingly high standard. You’d easily pay double for this level of food in Vancouver
Our favorite restaurant. The food never lets us down.
It was great. The food was really delicious and the service was fast. Our waitress was very attentive and did not let our drinks go empty. We will definitely go back! Everyone loved the green dragon sushi.
Spicy Korean Chicken and GW Original 16 Copper - whatcelse does one need?
Excellent service and food. Great dining experience.
Will definitely be back!
This was our top dining experience over the 5 days we spent in Saskatoon. Great choice of food and portion sizes for everyone to share washed down with a good choice of beers on draught. Will definitively be back.
Really good food, happy with the service. A bit pricey, but food reflects the cost. Wasn't in love with the drink I ordered, but that's on me. Would visit again for sure.
Great food, great people, great service. Nice place to eat. You can smell like the food their when you leave.
While the food was tasty, it was very expensive! Tables very close together!
We totally enjoyed our meal at Sticks and Stones! The bibimbap was outstanding. We shared some dumplings to start and the shrimp ones were especially good. Lived the variety of choices. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food very much.
Great food at a great price. Tables are pretty close together but everything else was phenomenal.
Great staff amazing food
Would go again, the food was really tasty and it was a great date night spot!
We celebrated a friend’s retirement at Sticks and Stones. This is the 3rd time I’ve chosen this place for a special event and it was perfect. I love the shareable choices that makes us talk about the many tastes we experienced together. The food was amazing!
The food is next level
I would recommend this as a restaurant to share food. Portions are on the smaller size. presentation was beautiful. Lighting is a bit dim for me.
The food and service for the 6 of us was very good. Amanda provided very able, interesting and knowledgable service to us over our 2 hour sitting. This is one of the more expensive but good quality establishments in Saskatoon.
Very smart menu, tasty food that will not disappoint and very friendly service. Beautiful restaurant and cozy ambiance. Cocktails are very good !!
Great energy, atmosphere but most importantly steam buns!
First time visiting. Loved the atmosphere and food. Would definitely recommend.
-Had a reservation set for 7 pm was seated promptly:)
-Servers made excellent suggestions for features and new menu items
-server made additions for appetizers to accommodate 3 people:)
Have visited many times and always good. Nice cocktail selection and food was tasty. Gyoza and steam buns are definitely the standouts.
The food was fantastic. We asked our server to just feed us and everything was fantastic. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy thoroughly. Great evening!
Great place for Japanese food. Ramen Bowls are a good size. The pork buns were really good. Not the biggest selection of sushi rolls but it goes well with the variety of the entire menu. Usually eat here each time I visit saskatoon
Always great food!
This restaurant had a great atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food was just okay. We decided to order tapas style. For the price, the portions were pretty small and not worth the money for the most part. The mushroom steamed buns were delicious. We also had the special, pork tacos. It wasn’t too bad. Our last dish was the spicy tuna sushi. This wasn’t good. The rice was hard (undercooked or too old) and not very flavourful. Not worth the price. Maybe the main dishes are better. If you are going to try this restaurant, aside from the steamed buns, I would recommend a cocktail called the bumblebee. That was a good drink!
One of the best restaurants in Saskatoon
