Consistently fabulous food! Everything is delicious! Portions are generous; I make two meals out of the main course. Love that dinners come with a salad and the best garlic bread ever. Get the tiramisu!

Chef Don Salamone was a private chef for years, and it shows. He is extremely talented and having him be able to make the food he's passionate about is a treat. This pandemic provided a few serendipitous opportunities for chefs to get creative, and this is a prime example. Stevens Italiano was featured in The Oregonian as one of those new concepts that sprung from chefs having to scramble during these strange times. The eggplant is simply perfect: paper thin layers of eggplant with tasty sauce and cheese. Delicate and slices with a fork it's so tender. The tomato salad was such a welcome treat, as was the rigatoni and garlic bread! We also had some of his pickled veggies, that were simply wonderful. I used some of that sauce on some halibut the next night! We got two nights out of two orders. This is the best deal in town! Seriously!

The eggplant was delicious. Generous portions. Easy to order and pickup. Will do this again.

50 characters is a lot to ask one who has just consumed an entirely satisfying, not to mention enormous, meal prepared by these dear providers. That's all I can say other than I hope they continue allowing us, the culinarily deprived, to partake.

Everything I’ve ordered has been absolutely outstanding! So delicious and crave worthy that I now order every single week. I’ve told many friends who now order and they are equally delighted. Legit Italian food, in what I call East Coast style, what you would find in Italian restaurants in NY, NJ and Boston. It’s the food I grew up on and I’m delighted that we finally have all things parmigiana in Portland.

The eggplant is a must try! Layers and layers of thinly sliced eggplant breaded, fried and layered. So thin it’s like a crepe! If it’s in the weekly menu, order it a, The chicken and veal parmigiana are just as existential, with the meat so tender and covered in a simple but authentic red sauce and cheese.

Meals are complete with salad and crisp garlic bread made with good olive oil, garlic and parsley. They give you 3 slices with each dinner; I rarely make it home without eating one slice in the car!

Tiramisu is the real deal, oozing with booze and marscapone, it’s worth ordering take out here just for this desert.

Please keep making Italian food like Nona did, even when pandemic ends! Thanks for feeding us delicious meals during lockdown!

Highly recommend Stephen's take out dinner. They are delicious and huge.

It was fabulous! I haven’t had such delicious eggplant parmigiana since last I was in the NY/NJ area: Simply delicious sauce! Nice thinly sliced eggplant with light breading. Amazing light and fluffy Tiramisu. We will definitely order again.

Ordered takeout lasagna meal. Everything was delicious. So good that I ordered another meal for next week. Portions were large and we have enough leftovers for a second meal.

Overall the dinner was really good! My only complaint was the texture of the meatballs was way to soft. There was too much breading in them, you could taste the bread. But, everything else was delicious, I would give them another chance!

Stevens Italiano serves restaurant quality, Nona approved, legit Italian food served through a takeout window! After reading Dale’s story and seeing a picture of the Eggplant Parmigiana in Williamette Weekly, I immediately went to the website to place an order. The eggplant was sliced super thin, breaded and fried, and layered with red sauce and Parmesan cheese. Because the eggplant was as thin as a crepe, there were many layers. It is a unique take on this classic dish and it was sublime! Already I want to order it again.

Dinners are served with delicious garlic bread, a side salad and pasta - rigatoni in a classic red sauce (onion, garlic tomatoes and basil cooked long and slow) - making it a complete meal in the $18-22 range. Servings are very generous, and if the eggplant wasn’t so darn good, I easily could have made two meals out of it. But no, I had to have it all!

Each week there is a dessert item that you can add to your dinner for $4. Fortunately for me, they still had tiramisu left from two nights prior so I scored what is definitely the best tiramisu in Portland. I’ve had tiramisu in Italy, I make a killer tiramisu, and I’m from a first generation Italian. Point being, I know tiramisu and Stevens version is legit and divine. The lady fingers are soaked in espresso and Marsala giving them a sponge consistency without being mushy. You can taste the marscapone. Whenever it’s the weekly dessert, I’ll be ordering dinner with an add on of Tiramisu.

Truly hoping that after the Pandemic, Stevens Italiano continues serving this delicious Italian food because it fills a gap and there is demand.

Stuffed shells, lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi- bring it on!

It was a 1st time to go order but was impressed by the quality of ingredients & amount of food! Definitely had leftovers! Can hardly wait to visit in person once we can dine in restaurants again. I live by the Convention Center & it’s a convenient walk to some of the BEST ITALIAN FOOD I’ve ever had on the east side of PDX!

The woman who called on the phone before my carry out was ready seemed only interested in asking for a gratuity. She wanted a tip for carry out with no customer service which was embarrassing. When I declined she was rude and aggressive. For this alone I will never go back. The entree was excellent. athens dude salad was minuscule. The side pasta was nothing I couldn’t do myself.

We had the sausage cacciatore which came with rigatoni in a red sauce, Caesar salad, garlic bread and an option for dessert which was a lemon chiffon pie. They will also throw in an order of pasta for children (butter or sauce) if requested. We opted for the dessert as well as a bottle of Chianti. Everything was really, really good. The flavors were amazing, the food was packaged well for pick-up/travel, and there was plenty of dressing (on the side) and Parmesan cheese for the meal. My family is fairly picky and there were no complaints from anyone. My husband said the dessert was "out of this world" and was disappointed there wasn't more - which reminds me, the portions were plenty big and I have older teenagers with big appetites. The ordering process was easy and pick up was a breeze. They called me to answer the questions I had when I placed my order and then called the day of pick up to re-confirm the order and pick up time. We will definitely order from them again.

I do most of the cooking for us and I really appreciated feeling like I had a real meal from start to finish vs. an assortment of random dishes which you sometimes get when you order take-out for a family. All I was missing was the red checkered table cloth and the Italian music in the background!

Dined on the Veggi Lasagna which was tasty and very satisfying. the side dish, peperonata, was excellent and salad very good. The garlic bread was excellent.

It is sooo good. Burger Stevens is great, Stevens Italiano is just as good. The chicken parmigiana was the best I’ve had and everything with it was amazing! Go get their good now.

The eggplant parmigiana was sublime -- the eggplant cooked just right, and the chef's red sauce uniquely flavorful. Can't wait until the next time I can do takeout here. It's a treat during a time when "eating out" isn't an option.
