I think there needs to be more lunch choices on a Saturday afternoon. Everyone does not want breakfast. Also French fries would be nice with the sandwich instead of just chips.
Even though there were open tables and we had a reservation the hostess kept us waiting more than 15 minutes. We had to ask the waitress twice for everything: a side plate, hot sauce, water. At one point we asked for rolls, the second time we asked she said she was warming them up, the third time (20 minutes later) we asked she brought them out and they were ice cold- so much for warming them.up. I have been to Stephanie's many times and will go back the food was good as usual.
Great food great service! Burger and chopped wedge is the way to go!
Great skillet breakfast & cappuccino!
Super noises but crazy good food and service!
Everything I hoped for when booking!
They were out of the shakshuka which was disappointing but the service was pretty good. Took us a little while to get served. The veggie omelette was tasty but nothing unusual. The pancakes and monkey bread were very good
Best brunch place in Boston
Excellent food, great atmosphere. Service seemed distracted and had a couple of order issues, which were rectified.
Would definitely recommend and go back though, suggest be very clear with what you want...place is busy as well as the kitchen.
It was perfect!
Delicious everytime. Incredible menu. I've never had a bad meal. Lobster guac is essential starter.
They tried to sit us in a booth made for children, and the cold food was also sub par at best. Sour hollandaise sauce, mushy home fries, dry monkey bread.
Excellent service, tasty food, horrible table right by the bussing station. Nothing ruins a good meal like a table right beside dirty dishes and garbage. Saving grace was the truly wonderful staff.
Great food, place and service!
Went to brunch on a saturday morning at 1130. Waited over 40 minutes for the food to show up...there were 3 of us. Not a big group. Not a complicated order. When our food finally arrived, my sausage was cold in the middle. It was also obvious the plate had been sitting under the heat lamps for awhile. The server did his best to keep things moving and keep us happy! Not sure if I'll try again. Food was not worth the price.
Fantastic restaurant in a fantastic location in Newbury Street Boston, Friendly staff, Great food
We dined on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed but our server was attentive and efficient. We were visiting from out of town and did not realize how large the portions were. Each of our entrees, (rib eye, bone in pork chop, and chicken pot pie) were very good. If we were local we all would have had leftovers! Our daughter who usually gets dessert was too full.
Was supposed to have a surprise Birthday Dinner here, they dropped the ball and never met the request, Also good was sup par, had the brick chicken, it tasted like a brick dry as wood.
My friend's tuna tartar was spoiled. The waitress took it away right away and delivered the next choice very quickly. My pot pie had almost no chicken but was attractive.
This is a great place for a breakfast or brunch. The food is hit and miss but pretty good. The ambiance, monkey bread, and cocktails are great.
Our server Molly was terrific & the food as well
Great service, great food, great drinks, all in all very fun time
If I come to Mass again I will definitely come back. Wonderful service and delicious food!
Went to Stephanie’s with a group of 16. We were all seated in a huge booth, which we loved. The food and service were great. I will definitely be back!
Great food...big portions
Enjoyed dining with friends after a visit to MFA. Will definitely go back.
Server did not listen, left dirty dishes on the table, did not refill water, forgot salad dressing, etc.
Open faced thanksgiving style turkey sandwich was delicious. Caprese salad was delicious. Creme Brûlée was scrumptious. Waitstaff was courteous prompt and friendly.
Great spot for business meal.
Service and Food were IMPECCABLE. Very patient as my guest was running late.
John was our server. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the baked haddock and my friend had the Mac and Cheese and we began with GREAT Sangria and the Onion Ring Tower.
Dinner was ended with us splitting the Smore's Skillet Sundae. A MUST HAVE.
Food wasn’t what it was all cracked up to be.
Local friend suggested we try Stephanie's while visiting from Baltimore. Our waitress Molly, was personable and friendly. I tried a Cranberry Mule for my cocktail and found it quite delightful. The fish and chips was wonderfully prepared. And my friends parmesan fries with truffle oil were to die for!
Other than the noise, I would say this was nearly perfect!
I love Stephanie's, such a lovely place to bring friends and family to enjoy some good food and good company! I'm forever a fan of the frittered french toast and their build-your-own bloody marys!
Always love going to Stephanie's!! Can't go wrong here any time of year!
Good service and food. When restaurant is full, it’s noisy, loud.
Was disappointed in the food and bloody marya
The food was just alright. Slow to get drinks at the bar.
We have been celebrating new year's day at Stephanie's for many years and always have a great time! Terrific food and ambience. We love the front booths and our server was super sweet.
Went for New Years brunch. The food was overpriced and the service was passable. Won’t be visiting again.
This restaurant is really beautiful, and the food is excellent. This place is one of the very few casual/semi-fancy restaurants in Boston that serves actually good food. And it's not weird food either (no shrimp eyes or fish heads, etc.) It's familiar comfort food that is re-done in a clever way. Loved it. Great for picky eaters who don't want over-the-top menu options. Food was incredible. Highly recommended.
