Stella's Southern Brasserie - Greenville
I love Stella's they have wonderful food, a great ambience and a friendly staff. I have introduced the restaurant to a few friends and family and they all love it!!
Wonderful food and service, as usual! We enjoyed the French Onion soup and Cobb salads. Our favorite protein was the steak; so much flavor!
I love Stella’s for brunch! The food is amazing and the service is out of this world. It does get very loud because it is always packed so if you are looking for quiet and intimate you might want to ask to be seated in the separate room off the main dining. The coffee and cappuccinos with the house made syrups are so good. The only thing that takes away from the food is that the scrambled eggs seem to be the carton egg product with a weird taste and consistency. If you get eggs, get them over easy or sunny side-you can’t fake those. This is a must dine for brunch in Greenville.
We love Stella’s and have eaten there many times. However, our last experience was not the best. Our food tasted good but our food was barely warm.
Stella’s is always delicious, the service is fantastic and this time was no different.
We love Stella’s! Been here a few times and most recently with my parents who have somewhat stereotypical midwestern (don’t want anything too weird) tastes. Not only did the find plenty of things on the menu that they were interested in but we got the Plougman’s Platter (meat and cheese board) which contained plenty of somewhat ‘weird’ items (grilled pâté and a scallop & saffron sausage to name two) and they were raving about it! I think my dad said it was one of the best appetizers he’s had anywhere!
Service was outstanding, as was all the other food! We’ll keep coming back!
We also took a celiac disease sister here once and gluten free service was great!
We went during Restaurant Week and it was moderately busy on a Wed early evening. The restaurant is lovely, very nice atmosphere. The food was good. The service was not good. Our server seemed to need more training. He interrupted our conversations a few times without saying "excuse me" and his descriptions of the food were juvenile ("it has some grain things in it" and "this spicy sauce swirled around the whole plate, but you don't have to use it if you don't like it"). Our party of three experienced a very long wait time - all of the courses, from appetizer to dessert, took forever to come out and we were there over 2.5 hours. Disappointed, but may try again only because the food was good and the location is so convenient.
Sunday Brunch is outstanding!
Excellent all the way around!
New Year’s Eve dinner. Knew what we wanted & service was grest
My pork chops were very good along with the Lyonnaise salad. However, the shrimp and grits was a bit spicy for my husband. All in all, a good experience.
Stella’s is a go to for our family on most holidays. You can alwYs count on amazing food and great service.
Went with family of 6. Service was outstanding. All food was great except the shrimp and grits. Would return but for some other menu items.
Everything was good. One of our favorite restaurants
Excellent everything, as always
We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at Stella’s! It’s definitely our new favorite spot. Kids and adults alike enjoyed everything from the French onion soup to the scallops and Brussel sprouts. Our favorite desserts was the lemon pound cake. Great food, service and atmosphere!
Great atmosphere. Good drinks. The okra appetizer was good. The entrees were average. The food is a fair bit over priced for what you actually get. Not a bad meal but also not memorable.
Sarah was professional and friendly. She definitely knew the menu inside and out and we had an amazing experience with her. Stella's Cuisine is always delicious and the restaurant itself is gorgeous as well!
We has a wonderful meal at Stella's! The food out outstanding. The service was spectacular which is something they is often hard to find now days in a busy world. What a treasure in Greenville!
Good as usual
We love Stella’s for special or casual dining! Interesting menus and specials, warm and friendly.
My wife and I have very pleasant evening; an enjoyable meal.
This has become one of our go to date night restaurants. We love the intimacy and the whole atmosphere feels like it’s not in the dead center of Greenville. We love Greenville, but we love traveling and this restaurant gives us the feel of both. Always a unique menu and great wine choices as well!
Great place. Loved the diversity in the food choices and quality.
On the downside, is was to open and loud for a romantic date night. There are sound panels and they probably do help, but my wife and I felt like we were having to raise our voices the entire dinner to be able to talk.
Stella's is always a great place to have dinner. The food is delicious, the staff is personable and attentive, and the ambience is warm and inviting.
I have been a fan of Stella's for years. Had my first disappointment today. Went to brunch at 12:15. Ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, a grit cake and bisquit. Bothe the grit cake and biscuit were very hard. Like maybe they had been prepared hours before. Also, it took quite a long time to get a coctail. Will go back but if it is no better next time, I will have to cross it off my list of favorites.
The manager and staff was very friendly the ambiance was very chic
Sunday brunch with family was very enjoyable. First visit and was very pleased.
The food was very good. My plate wasn’t necessarily my favorite but it was very good and very well prepared. I had the sea scallop dashi and the Japanese style broth was so light and flavorful as it should be but just didn’t quite hit the spot. The signature shrimp and grits which my mom had were absolutely delish and when I return I will 100% try it. We had a little mishap with the dessert. It was a peanut butter chocolate pie. The slice was rock solid when it came out which made it difficult to eat and the peanut butter was a little much so it was exchanged for the chocolate pot de creme which was definitely an upgrade and extremely delicious. Service overall was great. Definitely worth a try!
Brunch at Stella’s is always stellar! Service is amazing, food is amazing, everything! Love it
First time there. Came for brunch. All was very good. We'll return to try dinner.
Have visited Stella’s a handful of times now and so far only for brunch. Each time has been a wonderful experience with consistently great food and amazing customer service (Jax is awesome)! Everyone we’ve brought with us has also raved about it! Can’t wait to try dinner sometime as well! Highly recommend!
Service and food were amazing. We were celebrating our daughter report card and Sara and the team made it very special!
Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back for dinner!
Lovely, French-themed decor with quiet, but comfortable ambience and cozy lighting, perfect for date night. Very good service. Nice fall flavors from both drinks to soup. Best part was delicious pot de creme cinnamon chocolate dessert with homemade Oreos on the side - delicious!
Delicious food. Although, the side salad dressing tasted very, very salty for all those dining at our table. Our server was happy to bring a replacement salad with a different dressing on the side. Thank you. I would have appreciated having my beverage refilled, however, I was never asked. Overall a very nice lunch. We are looking forward to giving the dinner menu a try.
Kevin’s birthday lunch was perfect. We love Stella’s for a special lunch out.
We celebrated a friend’s athletic accomplishment at Stella’s and had quite a memorable experience. Our server, Hope, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made it even more difficult to make choices - that’s a good thing! We had a couple of appetizers - a meat sampler and crispy duck with greens. For entrées, we had the ribeye (with velvety mashed potatoes), a gargantuan pork chop, the burger (two words: bacon jam) and clams that were worth driving back for the next day. Each selection was noteworthy, but the standout of the night was the clam dish that had a light but creamy bacon-enhanced broth that when dipped with the smoky grilled (yes, grilled) toast, would delight even one who doesn’t like clams. Sadly, we had no room for dessert. It was the first time at Stella’s for each of us, but it won’t be the last.
Great seafood dish and hamburger.
