   First time going to Stella's and first time hearing Mike Williams on Sax. Fantastic experience! I dined in and was sat in direct sight of Mike playing which was comforting because I was dining alone and felt like I got a special seat to enjoy the entertainment. I had water, really tasty, moist, salted yeast bread with soft, easy to spread butter, a wonderful potato leek soup, and Chicken Marsala that had a golden brown large, thick, hearty chicken breast - nicely cooked, perfect al dente pasta, sliced fresh mushrooms, onions caramelized in the Marsala, and a thin beef flavored sauce, and enjoyed a caramel drizzled cheesecake that was tall and wide, easy to fork bites with because it was firm yet perfectly slightly crumbly and was flavorful all the way through, even the Graham cracker crust. The chef even came out and visited the tables. The entire staff was warm and could be seen with a smile, some even extending further pleasantries and I felt adored there. Jessica was my server and she was sweet and attentive, keeping my water full and hopping to it in a well managed, classy fashion. The bartender was very attentive and sweet to me, as were the two hostesses. Throughout my dining experience I could hear Mike playing his smooth sax over the chatter and normal restaurant noises and he wasn't in competition with it, there was a beautiful harmony and he appreciated the plentiful claps and cheers for him after each song, even chatted with me real quick as I tipped him on my way out. What a wonderful experience! I'll definitely be back! ♡

   Quality of food was poor. Most of us left a lot of food on our plate. It was much better a few years ago. I do not recommend this restaurant-poor choice for my birthday dinner.

   Very Disappointing. First do not sit on the first floor or you will freeze. This is mentioned in other reviews. We ordered the chunk pizza and Tuscan Chicken. This came with a salad which we ordered the garden salad with Sicilian house dressing. The garden salad had lettuce and one tomato and two small cukes and was nothing to get excited about. The homemade dressing was good and one of the highlights of the meal on a boring salad. The pizza was cooked well but the sausage was in casing and tough as could be to chew. It wasn't bad but wasn't great either. Not something I would think I would get at this restaurant with the reviews etc. Just a pizza. The Tuscan chicken was so disappointing. The two thin pieces of chicken were like rubber and just not good. What was worse was the fettuccini was noodles in a brown oil. We were like is there any cheese here, what is this? This was not anything an Italian restaurant would ever serve. Seconds before the meal we were brough a basket of Italian bred thin sliced with cold butter. Again, not real warm homemade bread or dipping sauce etc. Just cold store bread and butter? The positives were; our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, and the wine was good. I was shocked that this restaurant was listed as romantic for it was anything but, for I would never book for a special occasion? Again, it is so cold from the door the couple next to us left quickly and there is no special ambiance at all? I have been wanting to come here for a while and unfortunately it was a mediocre place at best and not somewhere I would return. I think the high reviews beforehand are just marketing dept placed and I suggest going somewhere else. I am disappointed for I had such high expectations despite some locals warning me it wasn't very good at all. Lesson learned

Everyone else – We are a family owned independent restaurant. 70 hr, weeks, hard work and a passion for great food and service. We earn our OpenTable high score night after night. (Marketing Department lol). Fresh salads, housemade focaccia bread, pasta, salad dressings and sauces. An owner that is present and touching tables every night. Please come visit and enjoy our ambiance, local art, historic building. Suburban fine dining with a speakeasy feel.

   Service started out great but declined once they got busy. Our food came out lukewarm & our server never came back to check on us to see how our food was. Would’t go back. Spent a lot for mediocre food & service.

    We went to Stella's as repeat customers for Restaurant Week. As usual, the service (christina ) was top notch and the food was super delicious. If you can get there for 2023 Restaurant Week, I'd highly recommend it but any time of year it's a great choice !

    Overall disappointing, did not live up to the social media hype. Food was bland: had pork chops and an 1819 Salad plus chicken; ordered two drinks that were just ordinary. Wanted to try creme brûlée but at 6pm, they were already out of this option…so just passed on dessert. The most disappointing aspect of the evening was the poor service: unfortunately we had to stop waitress to tend to us at every step. The environment was surprisingly loud for the few people that were dining. Promoting as a “fine dining” establishment is a bit of a stretch. Nothing about the ambiance, the food, or the service qualifies it as such.

Our head chef/owner visited your table where no complaints were voiced. It was a busy day, so Creme Brulee's weren't done cooling until 6:15. We are a family owned & operated from scratch kitchen with a bar that has been voted best in town. We have live music and display local artists work on our walls. 95% guests rating us 5stars on OpenTable do not agree with your hurtful mischaracterization.

    We took my daughter to Stella's for a nice dinner to celebrate her recent accomplishments at BGSU and the place was perfect! Madison was our server and she was amazing. She was very nice, attentive, and helpful, and poured a mean Guinness! The food was fantastic. It was a great experience and I would go back for sure and highly recommend Stella's.

    Loved this quaint all home made food restaurant. We ordered the Tuscan Chicken and Spaghetti and meatballs and they were both amazing. Our waitress was wonderful and was always there when needed. We had a wonderful date night and will return soon.

    Our wait person, Kate, was very attentive and helpful- the setting was pretty and the own we introduced himself to us. We were on the second floor and we were cold at times. My husband was disappointed in the wine menu- he thought it was very limited. I loved the food (seafood past) and my cocktail.

    Our server was very inattentive and slow when requests (water, salt/pepper) were made. It was also cold and drafty by the exterior wall since it was an older building. My pasta was not cooked properly and was stuck together and was under the heat lamp for a prolonged period of time. My wife and daughter pasta was good but the chicken was over cooked. I had previously enjoyed the food and service but based upon this experience we will not be back.

    Group of 5. They told us the kitchen was running slow due to big parties. Okay no problem. Waitress only managed to get us one round of drinks and didn't check on us till after our food has been out for 10 minutes. (Drinks and water glasses empty and the person who delivered the food was a host who could not get us drinks.) Two got the Stella Salmon. Whoever made it didn't know how to cook salmon. It was clearly not cooked at the correct temp because the exterior was overcooked and the inside was undercooked. It is supposed to have a glaze which as you can see was literally a glob of cold jelly on top. The farro was flavorless and cold. The party next to us was clearly upset as either the chef or manager came out and all the focus was on them. Our waitress spent 20 mins getting their checks correct. The beef short rib, French onion soup, and chocolate cake were all good. We constantly were told throughout ordering that will be an upcharge. $160 for our 3 of the 5 was not worth the service or the food. We won't be back as for that amount you can do better elsewhere.

    I would have given them five stars across the board. Except after dinner we went down to have a nightcap at the bar. Unfortunately we were quickly hustled out the door at 9:45 on a Friday night. Obviously the bartender had somewhere else to go.
